church_n but_o put_v the_o case_n that_o twenty_o thousand_o believer_n be_v of_o one_o occasion_n it_o be_v not_o requisite_a that_o every_o member_n of_o a_o church_n meet_v upon_o every_o occasion_n individual_a body_n or_o church_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o of_o absolute_a necessity_n that_o each_o of_o these_o particular_a member_n shall_v meet_v together_o upon_o every_o particular_a occasion_n than_o it_o be_v for_o the_o member_n of_o each_o particular_a church_n to_o meet_v together_o about_o a_o general_a business_n of_o the_o church_n for_o in_o such_o case_n it_o be_v with_o the_o church_n as_o with_o the_o body_n politic_a of_o the_o state_n who_o in_o regard_n they_o can_v all_o meet_v together_o to_o advise_v about_o the_o common_a good_a therefore_o they_o divide_v into_o part_n each_o part_n elect_v two_o or_o more_o to_o act_v for_o they_o as_o their_o representative_n which_o we_o call_v knight_n of_o shire_n as_o also_o in_o town_n corporate_a now_o in_o choose_v of_o these_o knight_n it_o have_v be_v the_o custom_n that_o every_o freeholder_n of_o so_o much_o per_fw-la annum_fw-la have_v a_o voice_n in_o the_o election_n of_o such_o representative_n and_o yet_o be_v not_o every_o such_o freeholder_n bind_v of_o necessity_n to_o make_v his_o appearance_n at_o such_o a_o election_n but_o be_v at_o his_o own_o choice_n to_o go_v or_o stay_v at_o home_n and_o yet_o he_o or_o their_o absence_n do_v not_o retard_v the_o business_n for_o if_o but_o any_o part_n of_o the_o freeholders_n of_o the_o say_a county_n or_o county_n do_v appear_v and_o make_v choice_n of_o such_o representives_n for_o their_o county_n it_o be_v sufficient_a in_o law_n and_o the_o rest_n be_v lawful_o summon_v and_o not_o make_v appearance_n at_o the_o time_n and_o place_n propose_v must_v be_v force_v to_o subscribe_v and_o so_o in_o the_o other_o sect_n 2._o obj._n but_o suppose_v there_o be_v no_o appearance_n make_v upon_o such_o a_o writ_n from_o the_o king_n ans_fw-fr then_o be_v it_o in_o the_o power_n of_o the_o king_n and_o his_o privy_a counsel_n to_o do_v it_o themselves_o and_o so_o the_o commoner_n will_v lose_v their_o privilege_n the_o like_a instance_n may_v also_o be_v make_v in_o lay_v of_o a_o tax_n or_o sessement_n for_o a_o town_n etc._n etc._n where_o all_o the_o inhabitant_n aught_o to_o have_v public_a notice_n give_v they_o of_o the_o time_n when_o and_o place_n where_o such_o a_o tax_n be_v to_o be_v lay_v yet_o be_v not_o every_o one_o absolute_o bind_v by_o this_o summons_n to_o appear_v at_o the_o time_n and_o place_n but_o if_o he_o or_o they_o do_v not_o appear_v such_o as_o do_v appear_v may_v lay_v the_o tax_n and_o the_o other_o not_o appear_v be_v bind_v to_o stand_v to_o the_o conclusion_n of_o controversy_n part_v of_o the_o church_n may_v decide_v controversy_n member_n thereof_o be_v to_o be_v decide_v and_o most_o of_o they_o forbear_v come_v thereunto_o that_o then_o the_o party_n lord_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n in_o his_o divine_a wisdom_n have_v leave_v two_o remedy_n which_o as_o far_o as_o i_o perceive_v be_v not_o discern_v by_o you_o presbiterian_o for_o otherwise_o you_o will_v not_o think_v such_o business_n so_o impossible_a to_o be_v effect_v as_o you_o do_v obj._n i_o wonder_v what_o remedy_n they_o be_v i_o pray_v discover_v they_o ans_fw-fr you_o will_v wonder_v indeed_o when_o you_o hear_v of_o they_o see_v they_o be_v as_o a_o pair_n of_o spectacle_n to_o discern_v the_o truth_n and_o easiness_n of_o the_o method_n which_o christ_n leave_v to_o regulate_v and_o order_n the_o affair_n of_o his_o church_n militant_a by_o the_o which_o you_o so_o wilful_o or_o ignorant_o oppose_v sect_n 4._o obj._n where_o be_v those_o spectacle_n as_o also_o in_o regard_n that_o the_o enemy_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o church_n will_v take_v occasion_n thereby_o to_o blaspheme_v make_v it_o their_o chief_a joy_n to_o see_v the_o professor_n
