pastor_n preach_v reprove_v exhort_v and_o comfort_v the_o church_n but_o he_o must_v also_o seek_v to_o understand_v how_o every_o member_n thereof_o be_v dispose_v and_o what_o his_o preach_n have_v wrought_v in_o they_o in_o this_o sense_n be_v they_o term_v bishop_n which_o be_v as_o much_o to_o say_v as_o overseer_n or_o watchman_n to_o have_v their_o eye_n upon_o those_o who_o the_o lord_n have_v commit_v to_o their_o charge_n and_o this_o be_v it_o that_o god_n note_v say_v to_o ezechiel_n i_o have_v make_v thou_o a_o watchman_n over_o the_o house_n of_o israel_n 20._o ezech._n 3.14_o the_o table_n eat_v nothing_o we_o use_v to_o demand_v whether_o he_o be_v well_o or_o no_o so_o if_o any_o of_o those_o that_o be_v commit_v to_o the_o pastor_n charge_v do_v not_o eat_v of_o the_o spiritual_a food_n unto_o he_o offer_v it_o be_v to_o be_v fear_v lest_o he_o be_v craze_a or_o not_o well_o at_o his_o ease_n and_o therefore_o without_o delay_n the_o pastor_n be_v to_o hearken_v out_o the_o cause_n and_o diligent_o to_o see_v to_o his_o cure_n and_o to_o procure_v he_o a_o appetite_n second_o as_o jesus_n christ_n require_v that_o his_o sheep_n shall_v not_o only_o hear_v his_o voice_n but_o also_o follow_v he_o so_o be_v it_o the_o pastor_n duty_n to_o learn_v whether_o his_o auditor_n do_v follow_v the_o doctrine_n preach_v unto_o they_o and_o to_o that_o end_n he_o be_v to_o visit_v his_o sheep_n 10.27_o joh_n 10.27_o to_o see_v whether_o they_o be_v instruct_v in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o principal_a point_n of_o doctrine_n require_v to_o salvation_n whether_o they_o persevere_v in_o the_o truth_n whether_o they_o profit_v in_o pureness_n of_o life_n and_o holy_a conversation_n yea_o and_o to_o that_o effect_n he_o be_v to_o take_v example_n in_o the_o care_n and_o diligence_n of_o some_o parent_n towards_o their_o child_n that_o go_v to_o school_v who_o they_o cause_v to_o say_v their_o lesson_n or_o look_v upon_o their_o writing_n and_o by_o such_o examination_n try_v and_o see_v whether_o they_o profit_v or_o no_o but_o find_v they_o to_o be_v neglygent_a and_o faulty_a they_o reprove_v admonish_v and_o exhort_v they_o to_o their_o duty_n for_o so_o must_v the_o good_a and_o faithful_a pastor_n deal_v with_o their_o sheep_n follow_v the_o example_n of_o saint_n paul_n who_o visit_v the_o church_n and_o thereby_o inquire_v of_o their_o estate_n as_o also_o he_o write_v to_o the_o thessalonian_o say_v you_o be_v witness_n and_o god_n also_o how_o holy_o and_o just_o and_o unblamable_o we_o behave_v ourselves_o among_o you_o that_o believe_v as_o you_o know_v how_o that_o we_o exhort_v you_o 10_o act_n 15_o 36_o 1_o thes_n 2_o 10_o and_o comfort_v and_o beseech_v every_o one_o of_o you_o as_o a_o father_n his_o child_n that_o you_o will_v walk_v worthy_a of_o god_n who_o have_v call_v you_o to_o his_o kingdom_n and_o glory_n and_o this_o do_v he_o also_o protest_v to_o the_o elder_n of_o the_o church_n of_o his_o lose_a sheep_n a_o surgeon_n bind_v up_o the_o wound_n a_o physician_n tri_v all_o medicine_n for_o the_o cure_n of_o the_o sick_a and_o a_o father_n seek_v all_o mean_n to_o reclaim_v his_o unthriftie_a son_n into_o the_o right_a
