saint_n image_n &_o such_o like_a thing_n the._n xxxj_o question_n whether_o they_o believe_v that_o the_o go_v on_o pilgrimage_n to_o the_o bone_n &_o church_n of_o the_o saint_n be_v not_o a_o godly_a thing_n the_o answer_n this_o question_n comprise_v in_o it_o three_o other_o first_o what_o we_o think_v of_o pilgrimage_n that_o be_v take_v in_o hand_n for_o religion_n sake_n second_o what_o we_o think_v of_o the_o relic_n and_o bone_n of_o the_o saint_n three_o what_o we_o think_v of_o their_o temple_n to_o these_o we_o answer_v all_o those_o thing_n be_v godly_a which_o man_n obtain_n of_o grace_n for_o god_n be_v present_a and_o merciful_a wheresoever_o the_o faithful_a have_v need_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o call_v upon_o he_o with_o a_o true_a faith_n psalm_n 107._o and._n 145._o amos._n 5._o jere._n 7._o 23._o john._n 4._o 1._o timothe_n 2._o and_o many_o other_o place_n again_o sith_o in_o the_o question_n before_o go_v we_o have_v already_o show_v that_o the_o saint_n send_v we_o from_o themselves_o to_o god_n and_o to_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n it_o be_v evident_a that_o they_o allow_v not_o of_o these_o pilgrimage_n and_o that_o they_o be_v not_o profitable_a nor_o healthful_a for_o those_o which_o take_v they_o in_o hand_n and_o therefore_o we_o ought_v not_o to_o do_v they_o touch_v the_o bone_n and_o relic_n of_o saint_n saint_n there_o be_v three_o sort_n of_o they_o either_o they_o be_v their_o write_n contain_v their_o doctrine_n or_o some_o part_n or_o meniber_n of_o their_o body_n or_o some_o exterioure_fw-fr thing_n which_o they_o use_v as_o their_o garment_n and_o such_o like_a their_o 1._o write_n therefore_o which_o contain_v their_o doctrine_n be_v the_o right_a relic_n yea_o the_o unspeakable_a treasure_n of_o all_o good_a christian_n which_o ought_v therefore_o to_o be_v have_v in_o most_o great_a honour_n again_o the_o bone_n and_o body_n of_o the_o saint_n be_v worthy_a of_o their_o honour_n as_o have_v part_n in_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o dead_a for_o the_o which_o they_o look_v and_o be_v beside_o the_o house_n of_o that_o most_o excellent_a spirit_n with_o which_o they_o be_v fulfil_v but_o even_o as_o the_o body_n of_o the_o patriarch_n of_o moses_n aaron_n josua_n the_o king_n prophet_n and_o the_o holy_a body_n of_o christ_n of_o john_n stephen_n and_o other_o the_o apostle_n be_v most_o honourable_o bury_v so_o be_v the_o bone_n of_o the_o saint_n commit_v to_o the_o earth_n until_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n and_o be_v not_o to_o be_v dig_v up_o nor_o set_v to_o be_v worship_v of_o the_o christian_n in_o their_o church_n as_o athanasius_n have_v teach_v in_o the_o life_n of_o bless_a anthony_n furthermore_o if_o we_o have_v ought_v which_o we_o know_v the_o saint_n use_v in_o the_o time_n of_o their_o life_n yet_o ought_v we_o not_o to_o worship_v it_o for_o as_o the_o ancient_a father_n have_v teach_v we_o such_o worship_v be_v superstition_n and_o displease_v both_o god_n and_o the_o saint_n as_o before_o it_o be_v say_v what_o thing_n else_o may_v be_v say_v touch_v relic_n i_o here_o omit_v because_o their_o deceit_n be_v evident_o know_v for_o oftentimes_o it_o happen_v that_o the_o head_n arm_n or_o some_o one_o or_o other_o member_n of_o a_o saint_n be_v find_v to_o be_v in_o two_o or_o three_o place_n as_o though_o he_o have_v have_v three_o head_n or_o three_o arm_n more_o than_o any_o other_o man_n again_o in_o the_o stead_n of_o relic_n fond_a and_o foolish_a thing_n be_v offer_v unto_o man_n to_o be_v worship_v by_o mean_n whereof_o the_o saint_n be_v rather_o dishonour_v than_o honour_v yet_o in_o this_o their_o merchandise_n they_o so_o shameful_o behave_v themselves_o that_o those_o which_o have_v in_o they_o any_o spark_n of_o honesty_n although_o they_o delight_n in_o papistical_a doctrine_n yet_o be_v they_o displease_v hereat_o last_o temple_n and_o chapel_n be_v saint_n not_o to_o be_v dedicate_v and_o build_v unto_o and_o can_v â—herefore_o be_v express_v by_o no_o image_n as_o the_o holy_a scripture_n do_v evident_o teach_v we_o act_n 17._o and_o in_o diverse_a other_o place_n again_o the_o angel_n which_o be_v
