be_v not_o justifiable_a by_o even_o our_o present_a secular_a law_n and_o to_o this_o end_n he_o cite_v these_o word_n 464._o all_o man_n be_v not_o for_o all_o thing_n sufficient_a and_o therefore_o public_a affair_n be_v divide_v such_o person_n must_v be_v authorize_v judge_n in_o each_o kind_n as_o common_a reason_n may_v presume_v to_o be_v most_o fit_a which_o can_v of_o king_n and_o prince_n ordinary_o be_v presume_v in_o cause_n mere_o ecclesiastical_a so_o that_o even_o common_a sense_n do_v rather_o adjudge_v this_o burden_n to_o other_o men._n this_o indeed_o look_v plausible_o as_o it_o be_v here_o set_v down_o without_o its_o connexion_n with_o what_o go_v before_o and_o follow_v it_o but_o however_o all_o that_o it_o can_v prove_v by_o its_o self_n be_v only_o that_o it_o may_v be_v more_o proper_a for_o spiritual_a person_n to_o judge_v in_o cause_n mere_o ecclesiastical_a but_o than_o it_o deny_v not_o that_o if_o prince_n be_v so_o please_v they_o may_v judge_v themselves_o this_o take_v not_o away_o their_o right_n though_o it_o may_v be_v prudence_n in_o they_o to_o appoint_v other_o to_o sit_v in_o their_o stead_n but_o let_v we_o see_v the_o full_a scope_n and_o extent_n of_o mr._n hooker_n '_o s_z word_n as_o say_v he_o the_o person_n of_o the_o king_n may_v for_o just_a consideration_n even_o where_o the_o cause_n be_v civil_a be_v consideration_n appoint_v to_o join_v with_o they_o as_o also_o between_o both_o these_o jurisdiction_n and_o a_o three_o whereby_o the_o king_n have_v transcendent_a authority_n over_o both_o why_o this_o may_v not_o lawful_o be_v grant_v unto_o he_o there_o be_v no_o reason_n now_o take_v the_o whole_a together_o and_o the_o argument_n turn_v on_o the_o other_o side_n and_o prove_v that_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o supreme_a power_n be_v in_o all_o manner_n of_o cause_n to_o be_v the_o high_a but_o hour_n 309._o be_v ecclesiastical_a court_n alone_o to_o judge_v of_o spiritual_a matter_n and_o there_o can_v be_v no_o appeal_n from_o their_o decision_n which_o yet_o the_o supreme_a power_n have_v a_o right_a to_o receive_v yet_o these_o court_n do_v not_o exercise_v any_o power_n at_o all_o in_o spiritual_a case_n yet_o it_o do_v not_o appear_v that_o the_o cause_n of_o the_o deprive_a bishop_n be_v pure_o spiritual_a they_o be_v as_o much_o ecclesiastical_a person_n now_o as_o they_o be_v before_o their_o deprivation_n and_o though_o they_o may_v not_o exercise_v any_o part_n of_o episcopal_a power_n in_o the_o king_n dominion_n yet_o they_o still_o retain_v their_o office_n and_o have_v a_o right_a to_o perform_v all_o the_o duty_n of_o it_o where_o and_o whensoever_o the_o sovereign_a power_n will_v authorise_v they_o to_o it_o it_o be_v the_o opinion_n of_o archbishop_n laud_n 309._o that_o the_o use_v and_o exercise_n of_o his_o jurisdiction_n in_o foro_n conscientiae_fw-la may_v not_o be_v but_o by_o the_o leave_n and_o power_n of_o the_o king_n within_o his_o dominion_n if_o his_o majesty_n shall_v forbid_v a_o physician_n to_o practice_v within_o his_o dominion_n for_o some_o crime_n commit_v by_o he_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o by_o this_o mean_n he_o be_v not_o degrade_v from_o his_o profession_n nor_o will_v it_o follow_v that_o his_o majesty_n ought_v to_o be_v acquaint_v with_o that_o art_n before_o he_o pronounce_v sentence_n
