the_o church_n if_o so_o why_o then_o be_v they_o sound_v so_o great_a and_o palpable_a transgressor_n themselves_o who_o not_o only_o permit_v but_o command_v woman_n frequent_o to_o speak_v in_o their_o own_o church_n even_o in_o their_o most_o public_a assembly_n and_o very_o if_o the_o thing_n be_v not_o so_o public_o and_o ordinary_o practise_v in_o this_o land_n i_o shall_v almost_o be_v ashamed_a to_o mention_v it_o the_o matter_n itself_o be_v so_o shameful_a a_o thing_n how_o be_v it_o i_o say_v to_o you_o i_o speak_v who_o be_v call_v minister_n of_o the_o kirk_n of_o scotland_n that_o you_o not_o only_o permit_v but_o command_v yea_o and_o force_v woman_n and_o that_o of_o the_o worst_a sort_n to_o wit_n whore_n and_o adulterous_a woman_n and_o who_o have_v commit_v the_o place_n wherein_o they_o be_v appoint_v to_o stand_v be_v not_o much_o unlike_a to_o your_o pulpit_n but_o that_o it_o be_v large_a that_o it_o may_v hold_v three_o or_o four_o and_o i_o myself_o as_o many_o with_o i_o have_v see_v it_o fill_v with_o as_o many_o as_o it_o can_v well_o hold_v and_o these_o unhonest_a woman_n be_v command_v to_o speak_v public_o in_o the_o church_n yea_o the_o preacher_n after_o he_o himself_o have_v make_v a_o end_n call_v they_o by_o their_o particular_a name_n one_o by_o one_o and_o bid_v they_o speak_v to_o the_o edification_n of_o the_o congregation_n and_o so_o they_o must_v all_o speak_v one_o by_o one_o to_o the_o edification_n of_o all_o and_o those_o who_o be_v most_o impudent_a and_o least_o sensible_a either_o of_o their_o sin_n or_o their_o shame_n will_v ready_o speak_v most_o but_o in_o great_a hypocrisy_n and_o deceit_n for_o you_o yourselves_o know_v that_o a_o true_a penitent_n be_v rare_o to_o be_v find_v among_o they_o if_o you_o say_v this_o be_v not_o preach_v or_o teach_v but_o only_o a_o confess_v of_o their_o sin_n and_o ask_v god_n mercy_n and_o the_o like_a i_o answer_v be_v not_o confess_v their_o but_o command_v dishonest_a woman_n who_o have_v be_v whore_n to_o speak_v in_o the_o church_n whereas_o we_o command_v no_o woman_n at_o all_o to_o speak_v in_o the_o church_n but_o this_o we_o say_v if_o god_n by_o his_o spirit_n move_v or_o command_v a_o godly_a sober_a religious_a woman_n to_o speak_v in_o the_o church_n we_o be_v not_o to_o forbid_v she_o yea_o we_o be_v to_o hear_v she_o and_o we_o may_v be_v both_o edify_v and_o refresh_v by_o her_o testimony_n it_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n which_o speak_v unto_o we_o in_o she_o and_o by_o she_o yea_o that_o the_o apostle_n do_v not_o forbid_v all_o woman_n in_o all_o case_n to_o to_o speak_v be_v plain_a for_o in_o the_o same_o epistle_n chap._n 11._o v._n 5._o he_o show_v how_o the_o woman_n be_v to_o be_v cover_v subjection_n all_o which_o be_v employ_v in_o these_o word_n let_v the_o woman_n learn_v in_o silence_n with_o all_o subjection_n for_o no_o doubt_n there_o be_v such_o woman_n among_o they_o of_o ephesus_n where_o timothy_n then_o be_v who_o have_v need_n of_o these_o instruction_n and_o four_o vain_a woman_n who_o be_v give_v to_o vain_a and_o gaudy_a apparel_n such_o as_o gold_n or_o pearl_n
