that_o place_n in_o such_o or_o such_o a_o father_n know_v they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o judge_v whether_o the_o writing_n be_v supposititious_a or_o the_o place_n corrupt_v or_o whether_o the_o same_o father_n elsewhere_o express_v himself_o otherwise_o or_o be_v contradict_v by_o other_o father_n and_o there_o speak_v only_o his_o private_a opinion_n this_o caution_n vincentius_n give_v we_o in_o his_o rule_n for_o catholic_n doctrine_n cap._n 39_o whatever_o any_o quamvis_fw-la sanctus_fw-la doctus_fw-la episcopus_fw-la martyr_n praeter_fw-la vel_fw-la contra_fw-la though_o holy_a learned_a though_o a_o bishop_n or_o martyr_n hold_v beside_o or_o against_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o father_n id_fw-la inter_fw-la proprias_fw-la &_o privatas_fw-la opiniunculas_fw-la it_o must_v be_v sever_v from_o the_o public_a doctrine_n and_o place_v among_o private_a opinion_n well_o though_o all_o this_o make_v for_o the_o disadvantage_n of_o the_o protestant_n that_o they_o have_v not_o the_o father_n writing_n as_o they_o come_v from_o their_o own_o hand_n and_o pen_n but_o as_o through_o the_o hand_n of_o many_o adversary_n yet_o take_v they_o as_o they_o be_v with_o all_o the_o difficulty_n of_o find_v what_o be_v true_o they_o and_o what_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o it_o the_o protestant_n never_o doubt_v to_o enter_v this_o kind_n of_o trial_n by_o antiquity_n not_o stand_v or_o fall_v by_o every_o thing_n we_o meet_v with_o in_o one_o or_o more_o father_n for_o the_o romanist_n will_v not_o so_o but_o maintain_v 1._o that_o the_o romanist_n can_v prove_v his_o affirmative_a by_o a_o full_a and_o sufficient_a consent_n or_o
