zealous_a a_o advocate_n and_o and_o that_o i_o fear_v upon_o a_o ill_a design_n and_o my_o first_o argument_n be_v this_o 1._o since_o this_o unlimited_a liberty_n of_o the_o press_n will_v certain_o be_v as_o this_o author_n himself_o do_v not_o deny_v a_o inlet_n to_o schism_n heresy_n and_o a_o great_a variety_n of_o opinion_n and_o practice_n in_o matter_n of_o religion_n the_o allowance_n of_o it_o can_v never_o consist_v with_o that_o command_n of_o god_n contend_v earnest_o 3_o for_o the_o faith_n once_o deliver_v to_o the_o saint_n this_o text_n suppose_v that_o the_o true_a faith_n liberty_n to_o the_o press_n which_o will_v open_v a_o wide_a gap_n to_o introduce_v false_a religion_n be_v so_o far_o from_o a_o contend_v for_o the_o one_o true_a faith_n that_o it_o be_v indeed_o a_o contend_v against_o it_o and_o therefore_o such_o a_o allowance_n be_v a_o direct_a breach_n of_o this_o command_n 2._o since_o this_o unlimited_a liberty_n of_o the_o press_n will_v certain_o prove_v a_o inlet_n to_o schism_n heresy_n and_o false_a religion_n the_o allowance_n of_o it_o will_v be_v contradictory_n to_o the_o judgement_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o universal_a church_n in_o all_o age_n it_o be_v true_a the_o church_n of_o christ_n in_o all_o age_n have_v not_o the_o use_n of_o a_o press_n but_o if_o the_o late_a art_n of_o printing_n without_o any_o due_a restraint_n shall_v prove_v a_o mean_n to_o introduce_v a_o inundation_n of_o heresy_n the_o allowance_n of_o such_o a_o liberty_n and_o those_o numerous_a error_n with_o which_o it_o will_v be_v attend_v will_v be_v diametrical_o opposite_a to_o the_o judgement_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n from_o one_o generation_n to_o another_o now_o the_o question_n which_o relate_v to_o the_o case_n
