it_o popery_n or_o resemble_v the_o pope_n to_o say_v that_o a_o visible_a man_n or_o man_n be_v invest_v with_o power_n from_o christ_n to_o execute_v or_o put_v in_o practice_n any_o outward_a law_n edict_n or_o decree_n under_o christ_n government_n than_o we_o must_v take_v thou_o as_o say_v and_o as_o we_o have_v understand_v thou_o that_o no_o visible_a man_n or_o man_n be_v so_o invest_v with_o power_n from_o christ_n to_o execute_v outward_a law_n etc._n etc._n which_o still_o show_v thy_o opposition_n and_o objection_n before_o rehearse_v and_o clear_v thy_o opponent_n from_o the_o foul_a imputation_n of_o impious_a prevaricator_n down_o right_a forger_n impious_a prevaricate_a penman_n etc._n etc._n and_o thyself_o a_o notorious_a slanderer_n therein_o as_o well_o as_o show_v thy_o inadvertency_n and_o overly_o shuffle_a and_o foul_o slubber_v over_o matter_n under_o debate_n and_o controversy_n and_o with_o what_o blunt_a and_o dull_a tool_n and_o weapon_n thou_o be_v toil_a and_o fight_v howbeit_o we_o may_v hear_v w._n r._n a_o little_a further_o in_o his_o attempt_n to_o clear_v himself_o and_o prove_v his_o charge_n of_o false_a suggestion_n impious_a prevaricator_n etc._n etc._n he_o allege_v chief_o two_o thing_n viz._n one_a that_o he_o own_v the_o government_n of_o christ_n in_o his_o church_n know_v that_o it_o be_v his_o right_n to_o govern_v his_o church_n which_o w._n r._n also_o confess_v the_o penman_n signify_v he_o understand_v by_o church-government_n observe_v by_o the_o way_n this_o be_v general_a and_o not_o a_o answer_n sufficient_a to_o clear_v he_o it_o will_v not_o do_v his_o business_n against_o who_o do_v he_o allege_v this_o when_o we_o never_o question_v christ_n government_n in_o his_o church_n but_o the_o penman_n and_o his_o friend_n viz._n the_o peaceable_a people_n call_v quaker_n own_v christ_n government_n both_o in_o the_o inward_a and_o in_o the_o outward_a part_n of_o it_o both_o as_o he_o govern_v and_o rule_v immediate_o by_o his_o spirit_n and_o instrumental_o by_o his_o faithful_a servant_n invest_v with_o power_n and_o wisdom_n from_o he_o as_o before_z explain_v which_o i_o find_v not_o that_o w._n r._n have_v own_v with_o any_o consistency_n or_o clearness_n but_o have_v appear_v very_o inconsistent_a opposite_a and_o frequent_o contradictory_n both_o to_o we_o and_o to_o himself_o in_o the_o matter_n say_v and_o unsay_n first_o in_o one_o book_n then_o in_o another_o as_o be_v full_o evince_v in_o our_o treatise_n entitle_v the_o accuser_n etc._n etc._n as_o from_o p._n 83_o to_o p._n 91._o and_o from_o p._n 204_o to_o p._n 227._o and_o also_o in_o this_o 2_o dly_z he_o allege_v that_o he_o have_v testify_v that_o the_o apostle_n labour_n be_v to_o establish_v the_o church_n in_o the_o faith_n and_o in_o the_o power_n leave_v they_o so_o establish_v to_o be_v in_o the_o practice_n of_o that_o form_n which_o the_o power_n either_o have_v or_o shall_v lead_v they_o into_o moreover_o say_v w._n r._n my_o proceed_n in_o the_o marriage_n of_o two_o daughter_n within_o three_o year_n last_o pass_v and_o frequent_v concern_v among_o friend_n in_o take_v care_n that_o no_o proceed_n in_o marriage_n may_v be_v permit_v in_o any_o such_o private_a method_n as_o may_v be_v scandalous_a to_o truth_n show_v my_o practice_n and_o principle_n to_o
