the_o church_n of_o england_n at_o or_o before_o the_o first_o day_n of_o august_n 1673._o that_o all_o person_n who_o shall_v be_v admit_v into_o any_o office_n or_o place_n as_o aforesaid_a after_o the_o first_o day_n of_o easter_n term_n to_o take_v the_o say_a oath_n either_o in_o the_o say_a court_n or_o in_o the_o quarter_n session_n for_o the_o county_n where_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v reside_v and_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n within_o three_o month_n after_o their_o admittance_n to_o such_o office_n etc._n etc._n and_o shall_v deliver_v a_o certificate_n into_o the_o court_n where_o he_o take_v the_o say_v oath_n of_o the_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n that_o whosoever_o shall_v refuse_v to_o take_v the_o say_a oath_n shall_v be_v adjudge_v incapable_a of_o any_o other_o office_n and_o if_o after_o his_o refusal_n he_o shall_v exercise_v any_o office_n he_o shall_v not_o prosecute_v any_o suit_n in_o law_n equity_n or_o be_v guardian_n to_o any_o child_n or_o executor_n or_o administrator_n of_o any_o person_n or_o be_v capable_a of_o any_o deed_n or_o gift_n or_o to_o bear_v any_o office_n and_o shall_v forfeit_v five_o hundred_o pound_n to_o whosoever_o will_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o in_o any_o of_o his_o majesty_n court_n where_o no_o protection_n or_o wager_n of_o law_n shall_v lie_v that_o the_o name_n of_o all_o such_o person_n as_o shall_v and_o that_o none_o shall_v pay_v above_o the_o sum_n of_o twelve_o penny_n to_o any_o officer_n for_o their_o entry_n of_o the_o take_v the_o say_a oath_n that_o no_o person_n not_o breed_v up_o in_o the_o popish_a religion_n by_o his_o parent_n shall_v breed_v up_o or_o suffer_v his_o child_n to_o be_v breed_v up_o in_o the_o popish_a religion_n under_o penalty_n of_o be_v disable_v from_o bear_v any_o office_n or_o place_n of_o trust_n and_o all_o such_o child_n so_o bring_v up_o and_o educate_v shall_v be_v disable_v from_o bear_v any_o such_o office_n until_o they_o be_v reconcile_v to_o the_o church_n of_o england_n take_v the_o oath_n of_o supremacy_n and_o allegiance_n and_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n and_o that_o all_o person_n take_v the_o say_a oath_n shall_v at_o the_o take_v the_o same_o subscribe_v the_o declaration_n follow_v i_o a._n b._n do_v declare_v that_o i_o do_v believe_v that_o there_o be_v no_o transubstantiation_n in_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n or_o in_o the_o element_n of_o bread_n and_o wine_n at_z or_o after_o the_o consecration_n thereof_o by_o any_o person_n whatsoever_o and_o of_o this_o subscription_n a_o register_n to_o be_v keep_v as_o of_o take_v the_o oath_n this_o act_n not_o to_o extend_v to_o prejudice_v the_o peerage_n of_o the_o realm_n or_o take_v away_o creation_n or_o bill_n of_o impost_n or_o any_o salary_n for_o life_n or_o year_n grant_v for_o sufficient_a consideration_n nor_o to_o make_v void_a any_o estate_n of_o inheritance_n not_o be_v office_n or_o to_o make_v void_a any_o pension_n grant_v to_o any_o person_n instrumental_a in_o preserve_v the_o king_n at_o worcester_n that_o all_o person_n refuse_v to_o take_v the_o oath_n have_v office_n of_o inheritance_n must_v appoint_v deputy_n to_o take_v the_o say_a oath_n and_o subscribe_v the_o say_a declaration_n that_o all_o peer_n may_v take_v the_o oath_n in_o parliament_n if_o the_o parliament_n be_v sit_v within_o the_o time_n for_o do_v thereof_o no_o marry_a woman_n or_o person_n under_o the_o age_n of_o eighteen_o year_n or_o be_v beyond_o the_o sea_n or_o find_v to_o be_v non_fw-la compos_fw-la mentis_fw-la shall_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n lose_v or_o forfeit_v his_o or_o her_o office_n other_o than_o such_o marry_a woman_n during_o the_o life_n of_o her_o husband_n only_o for_o any_o neglect_n of_o take_v the_o oath_n so_o as_o the_o respective_a person_n within_o four_o month_n after_o the_o death_n of_o the_o husband_n come_v to_o the_o age_n of_o eighteen_o year_n return_v into_o this_o kingdom_n and_o become_v of_o sound_a mind_n shall_v take_v the_o say_a oath_n in_o manner_n as_o be_v thereby_o appoint_v provide_v that_o any_o person_n who_o by_o his_o or_o her_o neglect_n or_o refusal_n according_a to_o this_o act_n shall_v lose_v or_o forfeit_v any_o office_n may_v be_v capable_a by_o a_o new_a grant_n of_o the_o say_a office_n or_o of_o any_o other_o and_o to_o have_v and_o hold_v the_o same_o again_o such_o person_n take_v the_o say_a oath_n and_o do_v all_o other_o thing_n require_v by_o this_o act_n so_o as_o such_o office_n be_v not_o grant_v to_o and_o actual_o enjoy_v by_o some_o other_o person_n at_o the_o time_n of_o the_o regranting_a thereof_o this_o act_n not_o to_o extend_v to_o commission_n officer_n in_o the_o navy_n if_o they_o subscribe_v the_o
