manifest_a to_o the_o church_n of_o that_o worship_n enjoin_v christian_n as_o their_o homage_n to_o their_o lord_n christ_n for_o honour_v he_o in_o the_o eye_n of_o other_o and_o conduce_v to_o their_o union_n and_o communion_n with_o god_n in_o christ_n in_o effectual_a call_v conversion_n and_o edification_n to_o perfection_n 2._o such_o we_o judge_v also_o scandalous_a omission_n which_o be_v ordinary_a and_o open_a neglect_n of_o such_o duty_n whereof_o we_o have_v particular_a pattern_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o saint_n record_v in_o the_o word_n ground_v on_o general_a precept_n and_o have_v a_o moral_a and_o general_a equity_n in_o they_o and_o so_o carry_v a_o force_n and_o virtue_n of_o a_o command_n though_o not_o express_o enjoin_v in_o scripture_n 3._o we_o agree_v also_o there_o be_v scandal_n of_o omission_n respect_v duty_n of_o the_o second_o table_n such_o as_o manifest_v and_o voluntary_a neglect_n of_o perform_v those_o duty_n to_o our_o neighbour_n they_o themselves_o to_o bring_v they_o to_o we_o to_o be_v instruct_v 12._o if_o any_o person_n that_o have_v be_v admit_v to_o the_o lord_n supper_n shall_v at_o any_o time_n hereafter_o prove_v people_n that_o join_v with_o we_o in_o that_o ordinance_n 15._o we_o agree_v not_o to_o admit_v any_o to_o this_o sacrament_n that_o be_v member_n of_o other_o congregation_n without_o either_o a_o testimonial_a from_o their_o minister_n of_o their_o orderly_a walk_n or_o that_o we_o can_v be_v assure_v both_o of_o their_o fitness_n for_o the_o ordinance_n and_o their_o not_o reject_v the_o fellowship_n of_o that_o congregation_n whereof_o they_o be_v member_n 16._o we_o agree_v when_o in_o any_o of_o our_o congregation_n such_o as_o be_v right_o qualify_v for_o receive_v the_o lord_n supper_n shall_v be_v so_o few_o as_o not_o to_o make_v up_o any_o competent_a number_n to_o join_v together_o in_o that_o ordinance_n we_o will_v then_o advise_v with_o the_o association_n concern_v present_a sometime_o at_o least_o with_o we_o as_o witness_n of_o our_o due_n and_o equal_a proceed_n both_o in_o deal_v with_o such_o as_o offer_v themselves_o to_o the_o lord_n supper_n and_o likewise_o in_o case_n of_o some_o admonition_n to_o be_v give_v to_o offensive_a walker_n yet_o it_o shall_v be_v no_o hindrance_n to_o the_o work_n of_o union_n for_o any_o of_o we_o to_o do_v as_o he_o be_v best_o persuade_v in_o his_o own_o judgement_n and_o may_v more_o conduce_v to_o peace_n and_o edification_n 2._o we_o agree_v that_o for_o the_o exercise_n of_o government_n in_o our_o
to_o endeavour_v to_o perform_v what_o we_o judge_v our_o duty_n towards_o they_o according_o as_o god_n shall_v afford_v we_o power_n and_o opportunity_n brotherly_o union_n and_o assistance_n 1._o weighty_a and_o that_o can_v be_v determine_v in_o the_o less_o may_v be_v debate_v and_o receive_v advice_n and_o direction_n in_o the_o great_a 6._o we_o agree_v to_o dispose_v of_o ourselves_o into_o divers_a division_n each_o division_n consist_v of_o such_o a_o number_n as_o may_v convenient_o meet_v together_o at_o fit_a time_n and_o place_n for_o consult_v and_o order_v such_o matter_n of_o consequence_n which_o shall_v be_v propound_v according_a to_o such_o rule_n as_o be_v hereafter_o express_v 7._o we_o agree_v for_o furtherance_n of_o desire_a general_a union_n and_o to_o show_v our_o readiness_n to_o give_v all_o due_a satisfaction_n concern_v the_o proceed_n in_o our_o association_n that_o we_o purpose_v not_o to_o exclude_v all_o those_o which_o be_v member_n of_o competent_a ability_n for_o the_o ministry_n four_o except_o any_o minister_n himself_o shall_v be_v willing_a that_o some_o of_o his_o congregation_n shall_v join_v to_o another_o congregation_n or_o church_n tender_v his_o reason_n to_o be_v approve_v first_o by_o we_o in_o our_o association_n who_o upon_o the_o refer_v the_o matter_n to_o we_o will_v not_o be_v rigid_a against_o any_o expediency_n that_o may_v be_v without_o a_o manifest_a do_v of_o injury_n and_o break_v peace_n and_o unity_n 9_o we_o resolve_v so_o far_o as_o any_o of_o we_o shall_v be_v interest_v to_o advise_v with_o the_o association_n concern_v the_o justness_n or_o unjustness_n of_o exception_n make_v against_o minister_n in_o point_n of_o scandal_n inability_n or_o any_o other_o matter_n that_o may_v be_v allege_v by_o any_o that_o desire_v to_o be_v admit_v member_n into_o other_o congregation_n than_o where_o they_o live_v conceive_v that_o neither_o people_n desire_v to_o depart_v from_o their_o minister_n nor_o yet_o minister_n themselves_o with_o who_o they_o desire_v to_o join_v be_v competent_a judge_n in_o such_o case_n yet_o we_o agree_v if_o the_o exception_n be_v approve_v by_o the_o association_n that_o it_o be_v fit_a for_o the_o duty_n of_o mutual_a inspection_n and_o edification_n together_o with_o the_o avoid_v disorder_n and_o offence_n for_o people_n to_o join_v themselves_o to_o some_o near_a congregation_n that_o may_v be_v for_o the_o best_a conveniency_n and_o where_o a_o godly_a able_a minister_n be_v place_v 10._o in_o case_n hereafter_o for_o people_n want_n of_o a_o godly_a able_a minister_n assembly_n these_o three_o last_o proposition_n although_o for_o some_o special_a reason_n thus_o pass_v yet_o because_o they_o may_v seem_v to_o bear_v upon_o the_o party_n in_o this_o agreement_n concein_v they_o will_v be_v reduce_v to_o a_o due_a moderation_n in_o our_o after_o assembly_n we_o shall_v admit_v any_o of_o they_o to_o be_v member_n of_o our_o church_n or_o congregation_n yet_o when_o once_o a_o godly_a able_a minister_n be_v place_v in_o that_o congregation_n then_o will_v we_o serious_o advise_v such_o a_o person_n who_o in_o that_o case_n any_o of_o we_o have_v admit_v to_o join_v himself_o to_o that_o minister_n neither_o will_v any_o of_o we_o retain_v such_o a_o person_n any_o long_o 11._o in_o case_n complaint_n be_v make_v of_o any_o minister_n in_o association_n with_o we_o we_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o minister_n complain_v to_o engage_v to_o hear_v it_o free_o and_o impartial_o and_o if_o any_o such_o complaint_n be_v bring_v to_o the_o association_n against_o any_o of_o we_o in_o particular_a we_o do_v all_o engage_v free_o to_o submit_v ourselves_o to_o the_o admonition_n reproof_n censure_n or_o advice_n of_o our_o brethren_n of_o that_o association_n particular_a or_o general_a yet_o not_o as_o encourage_v frivolous_a quarreller_n between_o minister_n and_o people_n neither_o be_v hasty_a to_o receive_v a_o accusation_n against_o a_o elder_a excommunication_n the_o censure_n of_o excommunication_n be_v in_o itself_o so_o weighty_a and_o concern_v and_o that_o wherein_o none_o can_v
