liberty_n to_o join_v with_o that_o side_n they_o judge_v in_o the_o right_n reason_n and_o conscience_n must_v be_v their_o guide_n the_o law_n can_v and_o they_o that_o proceed_v on_o this_o ground_n be_v their_o own_o warrant_n on_o either_o side_n for_o neither_o have_v a_o legal_a power_n to_o determine_v the_o other_o therefore_o the_o power_n of_o judge_v be_v neither_o authoritative_a nor_o civil_a and_o so_o argue_v no_o superiority_n in_o those_o that_o judge_v but_o only_o a_o power_n reside_v in_o reasonable_a creature_n or_o judge_v of_o their_o own_o act_n of_o which_o they_o never_o be_v devest_v by_o any_o lawful_a authority_n and_o therefore_o may_v lawful_o use_v upon_o such_o occasion_n and_o though_o the_o government_n do_v not_o warrant_v a_o because_o they_o have_v none_o and_o so_o in_o this_o case_n the_o question_n be_v not_o about_o breach_n of_o law_n but_o what_o be_v law_n and_o the_o law_n not_o able_a to_o satisfy_v both_o king_n and_o people_n each_o claim_v contrary_a right_n from_o the_o same_o law_n the_o decision_n of_o this_o case_n though_o it_o be_v very_o good_a and_o profitable_a for_o this_o nation_n yet_o have_v no_o prescribe_a form_n of_o law_n to_o direct_v we_o to_o and_o therefore_o both_o king_n and_o people_n be_v to_o proceed_v according_a to_o moral_a honesty_n to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o interest_n of_o the_o land_n be_v not_o against_o the_o scripture_n and_o consequent_o no_o sin_n nor_o against_o moral_a honesty_n and_o consequent_o no_o crime_n not_o against_o law_n but_o law-breaker_n not_o against_o true_a allegiance_n or_o any_o prerogative_n of_o the_o crown_n no_o rebellion_n no_o usurpation_n of_o the_o sword_n nor_o criminal_a disobedience_n and_o not_o
