in_o this_o manner_n objection_n in_o a_o great_a family_n many_o must_v needs_o be_v absent_a by_o reason_n of_o great_a provision_n and_o much_o business_n etc._n etc._n answer_n 1_o it_o be_v true_a at_o sometime_o and_o upon_o some_o occasion_n but_o ordinary_o and_o continual_o they_o may_v not_o for_o the_o lord_n have_v not_o lay_v any_o such_o call_n upon_o any_o man_n that_o shall_v keep_v he_o in_o a_o continual_a breach_n of_o the_o sabbaoth_v day_n 2_o where_o there_o be_v great_a care_n to_o please_v and_o serve_v god_n by_o prayer_n the_o lord_n will_v give_v such_o wisdom_n that_o they_o shall_v redeem_v if_o not_o the_o whole_a yet_o a_o great_a part_n of_o the_o day_n which_o else_o will_v be_v mis-spend_v as_o namely_o 1_o by_o let_v pass_v many_o needless_a thing_n 2_o by_o prepare_v much_o before_o hand_n 3_o by_o rise_v the_o early_o in_o the_o morning_n 4_o by_o take_v interchangeable_a help_n of_o other_o servant_n 5_o by_o content_v themselves_o with_o so_o much_o the_o less_o though_o not_o in_o quantity_n because_o many_o must_v be_v relieve_v yet_o in_o quality_n with_o less_o curious_a dress_n which_o chief_o take_v up_o the_o time_n the_o second_o sort_n of_o man_n which_o plead_v impossibility_n and_o difficulty_n be_v inferior_a householder_n and_o they_o object_n in_o this_o manner_n objection_n we_o will_v have_v it_o as_o you_o say_v it_o shall_v be_v sir_n but_o we_o can_v bring_v it_o to_o pass_v because_o our_o wife_n be_v froward_a so_o that_o we_o can_v rule_v they_o and_o our_o child_n and_o servant_n be_v stubborn_a and_o obstinate_a answer_n 1._o such_o a_o man_n case_n be_v to_o be_v pity_v as_o one_o that_o be_v rather_o to_o be_v govern_v than_o to_o govern_v and_o they_o may_v do_v well_o to_o set_v up_o one_o of_o they_o in_o their_o a_o stead_n see_v they_o have_v so_o great_a authority_n do_v suffer_v themselves_o to_o be_v so_o abuse_v and_o overrule_v in_o the_o best_a thing_n 2_o that_o this_o abuse_n may_v be_v reform_v the_o man_n be_v wise_o to_o exercise_v his_o authority_n and_o not_o to_o let_v his_o wife_n and_o servant_n come_v after_o he_o at_o their_o pleasure_n but_o to_o say_v unto_o they_o come_v let_v we_o go_v together_o and_o not_o leave_v till_o it_o be_v perform_v so_o much_o for_o those_o that_o allege_v difficulty_n now_o there_o be_v other_o which_o plead_v a_o sequel_n of_o great_a inconvenience_n that_o will_v follow_v and_o they_o object_v as_o follow_v objection_n to_o deal_v thus_o strait_o with_o servant_n be_v the_o next_o way_n to_o be_v rid_v of_o all_o our_o servant_n and_o how_o then_o shall_v our_o work_n be_v do_v answer_n 1._o it_o be_v a_o great_a impiety_n to_o think_v that_o the_o lord_n will_v require_v that_o of_o we_o which_o will_v drive_v we_o to_o such_o inconvenience_n and_o not_o to_o be_v persuade_v rather_o of_o the_o b_o contrary_n see_v 1_o tim._n 4.8_o math._n 6.33_o 2_o the_o divers_a nature_n of_o servant_n be_v consider_v this_o objection_n will_v be_v of_o no_o force_n for_o all_o servant_n be_v either_o wicked_a or_o religious_a or_o fall_v away_o or_o indifferent_a if_o they_o be_v wicked_a and_o will_v not_o serve_v god_n their_o room_n be_v better_a than_o their_o company_n for_o they_o will_v never_o do_v we_o faithful_a service_n which_o be_v so_o unwilling_a to_o serve_v god_n if_o they_o be_v religious_a this_o be_v the_o way_n to_o keep_v they_o if_o indifferent_a this_o be_v the_o way_n to_o win_v they_o if_o fall_v away_o this_o be_v the_o way_n to_o recover_v they_o 3_o we_o shall_v no_o more_o be_v leave_v servantlesse_a than_o our_o godly_a forefather_n who_o vow_v to_o serve_v god_n with_o their_o family_n &_o yet_o have_v servant_n enough_o as_o joshua_n david_n abraham_n cornelius_n etc._n etc._n reply_n those_o time_n be_v better_a than_o these_o and_o good_a servant_n be_v then_o more_o plentiful_a than_o now_o they_o be_v answer_n 1._o our_o forefather_n use_v more_o good_a mean_n to_o make_v their_o servant_n god_n servant_n whereby_o god_n blessing_n be_v more_o upon_o they_o 2_o the_o lord_n be_v no_o respecter_n of_o person_n time_n or_o place_n therefore_o let_v we_o use_v such_o mean_n as_o they_o do_v and_o we_o shall_v have_v as_o good_a servant_n as_o they_o have_v the_o proof_n a_o 1._o cor._n 6.4_o set_a up_o they_o that_o be_v least_o
