which_o be_v the_o second_o thing_n i_o be_o now_o to_o come_v to_o show_v 2._o i_o say_v that_o this_o adoption_n of_o the_o infant_n or_o young_a child_n of_o his_o covenant-people_n into_o this_o near_a relation_n to_o himself_o as_o the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o so_o their_o partnership_n or_o membership_n in_o the_o visible_a church_n of_o god_n be_v never_o abolish_v or_o take_v away_o by_o god_n but_o be_v still_o continue_a and_o rather_o confirm_v for_o how_o indeed_o can_v it_o be_v imagine_v or_o suppose_v that_o now_o in_o the_o gospel-administration_n which_o be_v a_o administration_n wherein_o there_o be_v a_o great_a extensiveness_n and_o enlargement_n of_o god_n gracious_a respect_n to_o the_o world_n in_o respect_n of_o spiritual_a privilege_n and_o mercy_n than_o there_o be_v before_o that_o his_o goodness_n and_o gracious_a respect_n shall_v be_v more_o restrain_v in_o reference_n to_o infant_n and_o young_a child_n than_o it_o be_v former_o for_o the_o infant_n of_o jew_n and_o proselyte_n former_o be_v take_v into_o the_o number_n of_o god_n covenant-people_n and_o child_n and_o have_v the_o seal_n of_o the_o covenant_n apply_v to_o they_o for_o the_o confirmation_n thereof_o and_o if_o this_o privilege_n and_o benefit_n shall_v be_v now_o take_v away_o their_o condition_n after_o christ_n will_v be_v worse_o than_o before_o and_o often_o take_v for_o that_o than_o it_o be_v the_o next_o and_o immediate_a sense_n of_o the_o word_n of_o our_o saviour_n or_o if_o it_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v of_o heaven_n proper_o yet_o than_o it_o will_v follow_v from_o it_o for_o if_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n receive_v they_o and_o they_o have_v a_o portion_n in_o that_o the_o visible_a church_n on_o earth_n then_o may_v not_o exclude_v they_o for_o none_o be_v of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n above_o that_o be_v not_o first_o of_o the_o church_n on_o earth_n act_v 2.47_o there_o be_v daily_o add_v to_o the_o church_n such_o as_o shall_v be_v save_v and_o our_o saviour_n reason_n here_o for_o of_o such_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n show_v that_o he_o mean_v this_o of_o such_o infant_n proper_o take_v and_o not_o only_o of_o man_n like_o they_o in_o humility_n for_o that_o can_v be_v no_o reason_n why_o they_o shall_v be_v bring_v unto_o he_o because_o other_o that_o be_v like_o they_o in_o humility_n be_v of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n unless_o they_o be_v also_o of_o the_o same_o and_o his_o pronounce_v this_o as_o a_o reason_n why_o they_o shall_v be_v bring_v unto_o he_o and_o his_o embrace_v they_o also_o in_o his_o arm_n and_o his_o lay_v his_o hand_n upon_o they_o and_o blessing_n they_o sheweth_z a_o great_a deal_n more_o respect_n to_o they_o than_o what_o be_v require_v for_o the_o heal_a they_o of_o any_o bodily_a distemper_n for_o neither_o be_v this_o reason_n nor_o all_o that_o demonstration_n of_o affection_n to_o they_o needful_a for_o that_o when_o if_o they_o have_v not_o be_v of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n they_o shall_v no_o doubt_n have_v be_v heal_v by_o he_o if_o they_o have_v be_v bring_v unto_o he_o and_o when_o they_o have_v be_v bring_v a_o word_n or_o a_o touch_n will_v have_v effect_v that_o without_o so_o much_o embrace_v pray_v and_o blessing_n they_o so_o that_o what_o can_v we_o conclude_v from_o all_o this_o but_o a_o more_o than_o ordinary_a respect_n of_o our_o saviour_n to_o little_a child_n
