his_o meaning_n for_o when_o he_o say_v the_o holy_a apostle_n with_o the_o whole_a church_n at_o jerusalem_n do_v practice_v themselves_o and_o enjoin_v whole_a church_n the_o practice_n of_o that_o all_o these_o nine_o thing_n he_o mention_v be_v once_o command_v in_o the_o ceremonial_a law_n yet_o that_o the_o apostle_n or_o church_n he_o speak_v of_o do_v use_v any_o of_o they_o as_o reason_n of_o practice_n of_o the_o jewish_a ceremony_n and_o we_o in_o the_o first_o part_n of_o my_o assumption_n whereas_o i_o affirm_v that_o the_o ceremony_n which_o the_o apostle_n practise_v and_o prescribe_v be_v in_o number_n equal_a to_o our_o ceremony_n the_o answer_n of_o my_o brethren_n have_v three_o member_n the_o first_o member_n say_v that_o sundry_a of_o the_o thing_n i_o cypher_n yea_o by_o this_o reason_n abstain_v from_o blood_n and_o strangle_v must_v needs_o be_v ceremony_n though_o they_o will_v not_o have_v it_o so_o which_o may_v further_o appear_v because_o it_o be_v one_o distinction_n of_o the_o ceremony_n of_o moses_n law_n that_o they_o be_v either_o of_o action_n as_o circumcision_n or_o of_o abstinence_n as_o abstain_v from_o swine_n flesh_n blood_n and_o strangle_v because_o they_o have_v signification_n and_o be_v shadow_n of_o good_a thing_n to_o come_v and_o therefore_o ceremony_n last_o because_o ceremonial_a duty_n and_o therefore_o ceremony_n see_v they_o be_v include_v under_o and_o command_v by_o the_o ceremonial_a law_n of_o god_n and_o so_o receive_v denomination_n from_o that_o law_n which_o last_o reason_n my_o brethren_n themselves_o do_v give_v hereof_o therefore_o by_o their_o confession_n they_o be_v ceremony_n but_o they_o add_v that_o i_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o prove_v that_o the_o apostle_n or_o church_n do_v use_v they_o as_o ceremony_n or_o as_o in_o obedience_n to_o that_o law_n and_o i_o say_v again_o suppose_v i_o never_o go_v about_o to_o prove_v it_o what_o need_v i_o to_o do_v it_o ring_n in_o marriage_n observation_n of_o holiday_n &_o if_o there_o be_v one_o or_o two_o more_o let_v it_o be_v so_o it_o be_v a_o matter_n needle_n to_o contend_v about_o the_o number_n and_o about_o the_o often_o use_v and_o injunction_n of_o they_o for_o if_o i_o prove_v but_o one_o jewish_a ceremony_n at_o one_o only_a time_n use_v lawful_o by_o the_o apostle_n yet_o as_o evil_a in_o
