power_n it_o be_v to_o inflict_v or_o not_o to_o inflict_v temporal_a punishment_n and_o sure_o it_o be_v in_o the_o king_n or_o civil_a governor_n he_o can_v remit_v as_o well_o as_o punish_v unless_o it_o shall_v be_v impious_o pretend_v that_o he_o be_v no_o better_a than_o a_o common_a executioner_n he_o have_v doubtless_o the_o supreme_a coercive_a power_n and_o the_o directive_n
