sense_n the_o prophet_n be_v subject_a to_o the_o prophet_n the_o same_o chapter_n furnish_v i_o with_o a_o undeniable_a proof_n to_o uphold_v my_o argument_n 37._o verse_n 37._o if_o any_o man_n think_v himself_o to_o be_v a_o prophet_n or_o spiritual_a say_v s._n paul_n let_v he_o acknowledge_v that_o the_o thing_n which_o i_o write_v unto_o you_o be_v the_o commandment_n of_o the_o lord_n if_o any_o one_o think_v himself_o to_o be_v a_o prophet_n or_o spiritual_a that_o be_v according_a to_o the_o phrase_n of_o scripture_n if_o any_o be_v a_o prophet_n or_o spiritual_a let_v he_o acknowledge_v etc._n etc._n spiritual_a person_n than_o may_v discern_v if_o what_o s._n paul_n write_v come_v from_o the_o lord_n the_o epistle_n of_o that_o sacred_a author_n pass_v for_o such_o a_o proof_n which_o may_v well_o be_v call_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n since_o it_o be_v god_n who_o inspire_v spiritual_a men._n this_o consideration_n may_v serve_v for_o the_o understanding_n of_o several_a place_n of_o s._n paul_n he_o expose_v his_o write_n to_o the_o judgement_n of_o spiritual_a man_n man_n judicious_a and_o discern_a establish_v by_o grace_n to_o corroborate_v the_o authority_n of_o the_o apostle_n by_o that_o mean_v it_o be_v plain_o discern_v that_o there_o be_v nothing_o spurious_a in_o their_o write_n and_o that_o they_o contain_v neither_o argument_n nor_o matter_n of_o fact_n which_o be_v not_o exact_o according_a to_o the_o weight_n of_o the_o sanctuary_n spinosa_n and_o m._n n._n here_o propose_v some_o scruple_n but_o my_o answer_n will_v be_v more_o intelligible_a when_o i_o have_v consider_v the_o nature_n of_o the_o inspiration_n of_o the_o sacred_a book_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n which_o be_v that_o which_o i_o be_o go_v to_o undertake_v in_o the_o second_o part_n of_o this_o treatise_n the_o end_n of_o the_o first_o part._n the_o second_o part._n chap._n i._n wherein_o it_o be_v show_v that_o it_o be_v not_o the_o common_a belief_n that_o the_o sacred_a book_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n be_v dictate_v word_n for_o word_n by_o the_o immediate_a suggestion_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n when_o we_o go_v about_o to_o disabuse_v the_o public_a of_o a_o euror_n it_o be_v necessary_a that_o it_o shall_v be_v notorious_o manifest_a that_o it_o be_v public_o receive_v in_o which_o case_n the_o notoriousness_n of_o it_o supply_v the_o proof_n or_o at_o least_o if_o the_o thing_n be_v not_o so_o evident_o know_v it_o be_v requisite_a we_o shall_v give_v ourselves_o the_o trouble_n to_o prove_v it_o for_o if_o it_o so_o fall_v out_o that_o man_n undertake_v to_o undeceive_v the_o public_a when_o it_o be_v not_o deceive_v it_o will_v be_v a_o sufficient_a reason_n to_o complain_v of_o the_o injury_n and_o to_o upbraid_v a_o
