in_o their_o sermon_n let_v they_o take_v assistance_n from_o book_n who_o author_n be_v better_a skilled_a in_o the_o art_n of_o preach_v then_o themselves_o but_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n let_v know_v not_o what_o they_o give_v the_o same_o blind_a assent_n to_o the_o prayer_n of_o every_o priest_n or_o extemporizer_n that_o the_o papist_n do_v in_o thing_n doctrinal_a to_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o church_n this_o very_a silly_a objection_n have_v be_v insist_v on_o &_o urge_v against_o extemporate_a prayer_n by_o some_o very_a great_a man_n to_o which_o i_o reply_v 1._o if_o man_n say_v amen_o to_o petition_n before_o they_o hear_v they_o or_o before_o he_o that_o pray_v have_v express_v himself_o in_o word_n concern_v they_o there_o may_v be_v something_o of_o sense_n and_o truth_n in_o it_o but_o assent_v to_o petition_n before_o they_o be_v make_v and_o utter_v be_v a_o thing_n that_o i_o understand_v not_o nor_o those_o i_o believe_v that_o have_v communion_n in_o those_o kind_n of_o prayer_n and_o if_o person_n do_v not_o give_v their_o assent_n till_o the_o petition_n be_v form_v or_o express_v by_o word_n i_o hope_v they_o may_v deny_v their_o assent_n if_o they_o judge_v the_o matter_n of_o it_o unlawful_a 2._o according_a to_o this_o doctrine_n no_o man_n can_v join_v with_o another_o in_o prayer_n safe_o unless_o he_o know_v aforehand_o what_o be_v they_o have_v occasion_n for_o it_o for_o who_o be_v those_o person_n that_o express_v themselves_o in_o word_n sinful_a blasphemous_a and_o without_o sense_n they_o do_v not_o know_v but_o enough_o of_o this_o and_o peradventure_o some_o may_v think_v i_o have_v say_v too_o much_o to_o take_v notice_n only_o of_o such_o a_o brainless_a objection_n this_o be_v sufficient_a to_o my_o purpose_n that_o dissent_n from_o a_o public_a lyturgy_n and_o the_o use_v of_o conceive_a prayer_n be_v no_o reason_n for_o make_v church_n or_o person_n schismatical_a if_o any_o thing_n of_o this_o nature_n be_v enough_o to_o denominate_v single_a person_n or_o society_n of_o man_n schismatical_a it_o be_v in_o the_o power_n of_o those_o that_o be_v uppermost_a to_o make_v who_o they_o please_v schismatic_n person_n and_o church_n may_v walk_v in_o all_o the_o statute_n and_o commandment_n of_o the_o lord_n blameless_a and_o yet_o be_v cut_v off_o from_o the_o church_n of_o god_n as_o schismatical_a and_o consequent_o be_v exclude_v life_n eternal_a for_o it_o be_v affirm_v of_o late_a that_o whoever_o be_v cut_v off_o from_o a_o particular_a true_a church_n be_v cut_v off_o from_o
