if_o repentance_n be_v necessary_a will_v any_o think_v that_o division_n be_v the_o way_n or_o mean_v to_o attain_v the_o same_o which_o do_v embitter_v and_o confirm_v man_n in_o their_o opinion_n and_o opposition_n respective_o as_o former_o have_v be_v say_v it_o will_v be_v now_o no_o great_a difficulty_n to_o answer_v in_o the_o last_o two_o case_n to_o wit_n when_o the_o decision_n be_v a_o simple_a declaration_n of_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o a_o thing_n without_o any_o positive_a appointment_n that_o such_o a_o thing_n shall_v be_v put_v in_o practice_n etc._n etc._n for_o if_o upon_o the_o former_a ground_n union_n may_v be_v attain_v and_o division_n remove_v in_o the_o former_a case_n it_o may_v be_v much_o more_o in_o this_o most_o of_o all_o where_o the_o matter_n determine_v concern_v such_o practice_n as_o actual_o be_v to_o be_v perform_v but_o in_o some_o extraordinary_a case_n by_o civil_a power_n because_o in_o such_o case_n man_n may_v more_o easy_o condescend_v to_o forbearance_n than_o in_o matter_n of_o great_a necessity_n and_o concernment_n and_o there_o can_v be_v but_o little_a prejudice_n allege_v to_o follow_v unto_o the_o church_n to_o be_v put_v in_o the_o balance_n with_o the_o church_n peace_n either_o by_o condescend_v that_o such_o a_o determination_n shall_v be_v wave_v or_o stand_v with_o the_o qualification_n aforesaid_a it_o be_v true_a that_o tenaciousnesse_n in_o the_o least_o particular_a and_o peremptory_a refuse_v to_o condescend_v therein_o will_v breed_v a_o rent_n and_o schism_n and_o make_v union_n as_o impossible_a as_o if_o it_o be_v the_o great_a matter_n that_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o distance_n yet_o it_o will_v seem_v that_o in_o the_o case_n presuppose_v especial_o these_o last_o three_o be_v put_v together_o that_o judicious_a sober_a and_o godly_a man_n shall_v be_v very_o easy_o induce_v to_o condescend_v to_o each_o other_o with_o the_o qualification_n aforesaid_a for_o the_o church_n peace_n for_o 1._o the_o matter_n although_o it_o have_v a_o right_a and_o wrong_n in_o it_o yet_o it_o be_v among_o the_o least_o of_o the_o truth_n that_o may_v be_v account_v to_o relate_v to_o the_o foundation_n 2._o it_o be_v in_o a_o matter_n most_o improbable_o practicable_a and_o which_o may_v possible_o never_o occur_v 3._o it_o be_v a_o determination_n or_o a_o exercise_n of_o church-power_n that_o have_v least_o influence_n upon_o church-matter_n see_v it_o positive_o ordain_v nothing_o 4._o it_o be_v in_o a_o thing_n most_o extrinsic_a which_o may_v have_v be_v put_v in_o practice_n and_o usual_o be_v put_v in_o practice_n without_o the_o church_n intermeddle_v therein_o either_o pro_fw-la or_o contra_fw-la it_o seem_v therefore_o unsuitable_a that_o such_o a_o determination_n in_o reference_n to_o such_o practice_n shall_v be_v great_o contended-for_a when_o neither_o the_o stand_n of_o such_o a_o decision_n can_v procure_v nor_o the_o remove_n thereof_o for_o allege_v such_o a_o decision_n to_o any_o but_o to_o such_o as_o of_o themselves_o be_v sway_v with_o the_o matter_n thereof_o and_o therefore_o see_v it_o have_v no_o force_n to_o bind_v more_o than_o will_v be_v bind_v with_o the_o matter_n if_o it_o be_v not_o nor_o can_v infer_v that_o it_o be_v the_o judicial_a decision_n and_o judgement_n of_o such_o a_o church_n more_o than_o this_o to_o wit_n that_o it_o be_v the_o judgement_n of_o the_o plurality_n for_o the_o time_n yet_o so_o as_o it_o be_v not_o acknowledge_v by_o other_o and_o who_o be_v not_o to_o be_v constrain_v to_o any_o alteration_n in_o their_o judgement_n or_o in_o their_o practice_n by_o that_o determination_n more_o than_o if_o it_o have_v never_o be_v which_o be_v a_o necessary_a qualification_n of_o the_o forbearance_n mention_v and_o suppose_v the_o say_a decision_n to_o be_v wave_v these_o particular_n will_v be_v true_a again_o upon_o the_o other_o side_n the_o removing_z of_o that_o decision_n do_v not_o strengthen_v the_o negative_a for_o that_o can_v be_v intend_v by_o such_o a_o composure_n that_o either_o side_n shall_v be_v strengthen_v nor_o do_v the_o stand_v thereof_o weaken_v the_o same_o because_o according_a to_o the_o qualification_n aforesaid_a not_o only_o there_o can_v be_v no_o censure_n follow_v upon_o it_o but_o even_o as_o to_o the_o determination_n itself_o though_o it_o be_v not_o formal_o remove_v to_o be_v no_o decision_n simple_o it_o be_v no_o decision_n to_o they_o nor_o can_v be_v allege_v to_o they_o against_o their_o opinion_n more_o than_o if_o it_o be_v not_o and_o thus_o it_o become_v of_o equal_a extent_n with_o those_o who_o approve_v the_o matter_n and_o so_o it_o do_v bind_v only_o such_o as_o account_v themselves_o bind_v and_o if_o man_n account_v themselves_o bind_v the_o remove_n of_o such_o a_o decision_n will_v not_o loose_v they_o and_o if_o they_o account_v not_o themselves_o bind_v otherways_o the_o stand_v thereof_o in_o
