his_o gospel_n treat_v not_o his_o minister_n in_o a_o unworthy_a manner_n have_v you_o not_o call_v they_o off_o from_o other_o business_n and_o be_v they_o not_o your_o servant_n and_o be_v not_o from_o thence_o a_o gospel_n maintenance_n due_a to_o they_o from_o you_o as_o be_v the_o wage_n of_o your_o other_o servant_n though_o we_o fear_v some_o give_v more_o to_o the_o mean_a servant_n in_o their_o house_n than_o they_o to_o give_v to_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n 2._o it_o be_v evident_a they_o have_v a_o great_a charge_n commit_v to_o their_o trust_n they_o watch_v for_o your_o soul_n as_o they_o who_o must_v give_v a_o account_n heb._n 13.17_o and_o therefore_o you_o ought_v to_o consider_v they_o and_o pity_v they_o and_o endeavour_v to_o assist_v they_o and_o put_v they_o into_o the_o best_a capacity_n you_o be_v able_a to_o do_v that_o they_o may_v make_v full_a proof_n of_o their_o ministry_n and_o be_v free_a from_o the_o blood_n of_o all_o man_n it_o be_v the_o business_n of_o your_o own_o salvation_n and_o concern_v of_o your_o precious_a and_o immortal_a soul_n that_o your_o minister_n be_v employ_v in_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v much_o more_o your_o own_o interest_n than_o he_o and_o from_o hence_o ought_v to_o make_v conscience_n of_o your_o duty_n for_o if_o they_o can_v give_v their_o account_n with_o joy_n that_o will_v not_o be_v profitable_a for_o you_o and_o how_o can_v they_o give_v a_o acccount_n of_o joy_n concern_v you_o when_o you_o have_v neglect_v one_o great_a and_o indispensible_a duty_n by_o which_o mean_n they_o be_v render_v unable_a to_o perform_v their_o work_n as_o become_v they_o nor_o can_v indeed_o the_o ministry_n ever_o be_v effectual_a to_o your_o soul_n if_o you_o be_v not_o sincere_a in_o obedience_n under_o it_o beside_o as_o one_o observe_v will_v you_o be_v less_o careful_a for_o your_o soul_n and_o their_o eternal_a welfare_n than_o for_o your_o body_n and_o the_o comfort_n of_o a_o temporal_a life_n can_v you_o be_v content_a to_o lay_v out_o your_o strength_n and_o substance_n to_o provide_v for_o these_o and_o neglect_v the_o other_o be_v it_o not_o sad_a say_v one_o to_o consider_v how_o many_o there_o be_v among_o professor_n that_o live_v in_o this_o world_n as_o if_o there_o be_v no_o truth_n in_o the_o report_n of_o that_o which_o be_v to_o come_v and_o have_v the_o mean_a esteem_n of_o the_o most_o necessary_a mean_n of_o salvation_n viz._n the_o word_n and_o ordinance_n of_o christ_n and_o a_o gospel_n ministry_n some_o can_v expend_v perhaps_o a_o hundred_o pound_n per_fw-la annum_fw-la more_fw-it or_o less_o for_o ornament_n or_o delight_n to_o adorn_v a_o frail_a carcase_n but_o will_v grudge_n half_o so_o much_o for_o the_o poor_a saint_n or_o to_o the_o support_n of_o the_o worship_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o his_o sink_a interest_n 3._o consider_v how_o many_o temptation_n and_o soul_n discourage_v weakness_n your_o minister_n lie_v under_o continual_o both_o from_o within_o and_o without_o if_o sensible_a of_o the_o greatness_n of_o their_o work_n and_o of_o their_o own_o insufficiency_n you_o know_v not_o their_o fear_n their_o care_n their_o tear_n and_o how_o hard_o they_o be_v put_v to_o it_o to_o keep_v up_o in_o their_o work_n find_v such_o strong_a opposition_n make_v against_o they_o by_o the_o enemy_n continual_o so_o that_o you_o have_v need_v to_o strengthen_v comfort_n and_o encourage_v they_o as_o much_o as_o you_o can_v and_o not_o to_o add_v to_o their_o sorrow_n and_o make_v they_o serve_v you_o in_o want_n and_o necessity_n 4._o we_o may_v tell_v you_o also_o what_o the_o apostle_n say_v in_o respect_n of_o his_o liberty_n as_o a_o minister_n in_o forbear_v to_o work_n at_o all_o will_v any_o of_o you_o say_v your_o minister_n must_v labour_v and_o provide_v for_o themselves_o when_o god_n have_v ordain_v the_o contrary_a and_o also_o when_o the_o apostle_n say_v he_o have_v power_n to_o forbear_v work_v see_v 1_o cor._n 9.6_o or_o i_o only_o and_o barnabas_n have_v we_o not_o power_n to_o forbear_v work_v we_o certain_o as_o well_o as_o the_o rest_n of_o christ_n minister_n if_o we_o will_v run_v out_o to_o the_o utmost_a end_n of_o the_o line_n of_o our_o liberty_n in_o thing_n without_o have_v regard_n to_o your_o circumstance_n may_v forbear_v work_v with_o our_o hand_n and_o expect_v that_o those_o among_o who_o we_o labour_v shall_v maintain_v it_o so_o the_o annotator_n render_v it_o now_o you_o will_v think_v this_o a_o hard_a thing_n shall_v any_o of_o your_o pastor_n
