patroness_n and_o intercessor_n as_o there_o do_v live_v saint_n in_o heaven_n christian_n know_v that_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o christ_n once_o offer_v be_v always_o effectual_a to_o make_v satisfaction_n for_o all_o the_o sin_n of_o all_o man_n in_o the_o whole_a world_n and_o of_o all_o man_n of_o all_o age_n but_o these_o man_n with_o often_o outcry_n say_v that_o it_o be_v flat_a at_o home_n in_o their_o chamber_n to_o the_o confirmation_n whereof_o they_o wrest_v these_o word_n of_o our_o saviour_n but_o thou_o 6._o when_o thou_o pray_v enter_v into_o thy_o chamber_n and_o when_o thou_o have_v shut_v thy_o door_n pray_v to_o thy_o father_n which_o be_v in_o secret_a and_o thy_o father_n which_o see_v in_o secret_a shall_v reward_v thou_o open_o but_o these_o word_n have_v a_o antithesis_fw-la or_o contrary_a sentence_n to_o that_o which_o go_v afore_o for_o there_o go_v before_o and_o when_o thou_o pray_v thou_o shall_v not_o be_v as_o the_o hypocrite_n be_v for_o they_o love_v to_o stand_v pray_v in_o the_o synagogue_n and_o in_o the_o corner_n of_o the_o street_n that_o they_o may_v be_v see_v of_o man_n against_o this_o immediate_o he_o oppose_v but_o thou_o when_o thou_o pray_v enter_v into_o thy_o chamber_n and_o as_o in_o reprove_v the_o abuse_n of_o prayer_n he_o do_v not_o proper_o condemn_v the_o place_n but_o rather_o speak_v figurative_o after_o this_o manner_n the_o phariseis_n with_o their_o prayer_n which_o they_o make_v in_o the_o street_n do_v hunt_v after_o praise_n and_o commendation_n of_o the_o people_n so_o on_o the_o contrary_a part_n make_v mention_n of_o a_o chamber_n he_o mean_v not_o that_o the_o place_n of_o itself_o make_v the_o prayer_n either_o better_a or_o worse_o but_o he_o teach_v by_o a_o figurative_a speech_n that_o we_o ought_v to_o pray_v with_o a_o upright_o mind_n and_o most_o free_a from_o hunt_v after_o the_o praise_n of_o man_n for_o he_o that_o pray_v with_o a_o mind_n not_o trouble_v with_o affection_n have_v regard_n only_o unto_o god_n he_o pray_v in_o his_o chamber_n whether_o he_o pray_v in_o the_o church_n or_o in_o the_o street_n for_o otherwise_o the_o lord_n pray_v with_o wherein_o the_o fruit_n of_o christ_n divinity_n &_o humanity_n to_o be_v short_a all_o our_o salvation_n consist_v can_v worthy_o and_o diligent_o enough_o be_v print_v in_o man_n heart_n paul_n unto_o the_o hebrew_n speak_v of_o the_o priest_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n and_o compare_v christ_n our_o high_a priest_n with_o they_o yea_o by_o all_o mean_n prefer_v he_o say_v and_o among_o they_o many_o be_v make_v priest_n because_o they_o be_v not_o suffer_v to_o endure_v by_o reason_n of_o death_n but_o christ_n because_o he_o endure_v for_o ever_o have_v a_o everlasting_a or_o unchangeable_a priesthood_n for_o that_o it_o do_v not_o pall_v over_o to_o another_o by_o succession_n wherefore_o he_o be_v able_a also_o perfect_o to_o save_v they_o that_o come_v unto_o god_n by_o he_o see_v he_o ever_o live_v to_o make_v intercession_n for_o they_o for_o such_o a_o high_a priest_n it_o become_v we_o to_o have_v which_o be_v holy_a harmless_a undefiled_a separate_a from_o sin_n &_o make_v high_a than_o the_o heaven_n which_o need_v not_o daily_o as_o those_o high_a priest_n to_o offer_v up_o sacrifice_n first_o for_o his_o own_o sin_n &_o then_o for_o the_o people_n for_o everlasting_a sacrifice_n or_o satisfaction_n for_o sin_n it_o belong_v also_o to_o the_o same_o priesthood_n to_o consecrate_v priest_n unto_o god_n all_o the_o faithful_a not_o that_o we_o shall_v offer_v for_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o sin_n but_o that_o we_o shall_v offer_v our_o prayer_n thanksgiving_n and_o ourselves_o and_o the_o duty_n of_o godliness_n as_o it_o be_v every_o moment_n for_o saint_n john_n the_o apostle_n and_o evangelist_n say_v jesus_n 1_n christ_n prince_n of_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n love_v we_o and_o wash_v we_o from_o our_o sin_n in_o his_o own_o
