writ_n may_v lawful_o refuse_v submission_n nay_o he_o be_v oblige_v to_o resist_v for_o however_o this_o seem_v to_o bear_v much_o of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n in_o the_o face_n of_o it_o yet_o certain_o it_o be_v whole_o destructive_a to_o it_o and_o under_o pretence_n of_o adhere_v close_o to_o the_o scripture_n undermine_v the_o very_a author_n of_o it_o this_o the_o primitive_a christian_n understand_v so_o well_o that_o they_o detest_v all_o such_o maxim_n and_o follow_v the_o advice_n of_o the_o apostle_n choose_v rather_o to_o trust_v their_o soul_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o those_o who_o god_n have_v place_v over_o they_o by_o a_o humble_a submission_n to_o the_o government_n and_o a_o peaceable_a obedience_n to_o their_o decree_n than_o by_o a_o presumptuous_a question_n of_o every_o thing_n and_o raise_v vain_a dispute_n to_o take_v the_o rule_n of_o the_o flock_n out_o of_o the_o hand_n of_o those_o to_o who_o god_n have_v providential_o deliver_v it_o and_o place_n themselves_o judge_n over_o the_o church_n their_o elder_n prelate_n and_o pastor_n who_o god_n have_v command_v they_o to_o hear_v and_o be_v in_o subjection_n to_o so_o that_o we_o never_o read_v that_o they_o ever_o pretend_v to_o weigh_v the_o ordinance_n of_o their_o superior_n by_o their_o own_o reason_n or_o to_o bring_v they_o to_o the_o test_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n before_o the_o acceptance_n but_o always_o judge_v it_o conform_v to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n that_o their_o governor_n shall_v rule_v and_o they_o obey_v thus_o when_o the_o apostle_n observe_v observe_v their_o constitution_n and_o with_o this_o doctrine_n of_o obedience_n humility_n and_o submission_n all_o the_o primitive_a christian_n be_v train_v up_o by_o the_o apostle_n who_o zealous_o labour_v by_o this_o mean_n to_o preserve_v they_o in_o peace_n and_o unity_n that_o so_o they_o may_v think_v all_o the_o same_o thing_n and_o be_v of_o one_o mind_n and_o one_o judgement_n and_o without_o division_n insomuch_o that_o there_o be_v not_o any_o one_o thing_n so_o often_o repeat_v in_o their_o write_n as_o exhortation_n to_o this_o obedience_n and_o submission_n see_v how_o
