practice_n of_o the_o holy_a christian_a religion_n which_o be_v most_o pure_o profess_v among_o protestant_n be_v the_o sure_a and_o safe_a way_n to_o salvation_n now_o when_o a_o papist_n shall_v come_v and_o tell_v you_o that_o protestant_n be_v no_o christian_n have_v no_o faith_n no_o holiness_n be_v out_o of_o the_o catholic_n church_n and_o therefore_o can_v possible_o be_v save_v all_o this_o noise_n and_o nonsense_n ought_v no_o more_o to_o affect_v you_o than_o the_o rave_n of_o a_o madman_n or_o the_o like_a rude_a and_o insolent_a language_n of_o furious_a quaker_n who_o like_o that_o church_n according_a to_o its_o present_a constitution_n since_o they_o be_v utter_a stranger_n to_o those_o falsehood_n and_o superstition_n which_o be_v now_o establish_v among_o they_o only_o they_o embrace_v that_o same_o pure_a plain_a christian_a religion_n which_o be_v at_o this_o day_n profess_v with_o we_o and_o be_v therefore_o rather_o to_o be_v reckon_v of_o our_o church_n a_o christian_a may_v walk_v worthy_a of_o his_o holy_a profession_n i_o have_v no_o desire_n to_o make_v any_o party_n of_o man_n worse_o than_o indeed_o they_o be_v nor_o any_o delight_n in_o contrary_a to_o it_o and_o be_v carry_v on_o by_o course_n no_o less_o contrary_a to_o the_o example_n and_o precept_n of_o our_o bless_a saviour_n t._n and_o by_o this_o mean_v i_o hope_v you_o do_v still_o more_o and_o more_o perceive_v that_o a_o man_n may_v be_v a_o sincere_a good_a christian_n without_o embrace_v of_o popery_n and_o particular_o this_o foundation_n article_n of_o the_o pope_n supremacy_n on_o which_o have_v be_v so_o long_o let_v we_o proceed_v to_o somewhat_o else_o chap._n vi_o of_o purgatory_n and_o prayer_n for_o the_o dead_a and_o indulgence_n l._n the_o next_o point_n which_o my_o author_n mention_n be_v purgatory_n and_o prayer_n for_o the_o dead_a which_o he_o put_v both_o together_o t._n not_o without_o cause_n for_o the_o latter_a depend_v on_o the_o or_o mystery_n and_o if_o they_o of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n will_v use_v the_o word_n in_o this_o large_a sense_n and_o so_o style_v the_o several_a thing_n now_o mention_v sacrament_n let_v they_o enjoy_v their_o liberty_n i_o think_v it_o be_v not_o worth_a contend_v about_o only_o let_v they_o not_o say_v that_o we_o despise_v the_o thing_n themselves_o because_o we_o think_v it_o enable_v we_o for_o our_o duty_n and_o have_v a_o assurance_n of_o his_o favour_n and_o of_o all_o the_o blessing_n that_o flow_v from_o it_o in_o and_o through_o jesus_n christ._n thus_o have_v our_o lord_n plain_o ordain_v that_o all_o who_o believe_v in_o he_o shall_v be_v baptise_a with_o water_n in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n son_n and_o holy_a ghost_n for_o the_o profession_n of_o our_o faith_n in_o he_o and_o for_o the_o receive_v the_o remission_n of_o our_o sin_n with_o spiritual_a regeneration_n thus_o do_v he_o institute_v the_o holy_a communion_n command_v all_o christian_n to_o celebrate_v the_o same_o in_o remembrance_n of_o he_o for_o a_o commemoration_n of_o his_o death_n till_o his_o second_o come_v and_o hereby_o we_o partake_v of_o the_o body_n and_o to_o please_v god_n and_o save_v his_o soul_n can_v easy_o be_v draw_v to_o approve_v of_o those_o palpable_a error_n and_o absurdity_n those_o scandalous_a and_o gross_o evil_a practice_n which_o be_v at_o this_o day_n teach_v and_o impose_v in_o the_o roman_a church_n and_o i_o think_v it_o may_v come_v to_o pass_v through_o the_o wise_a and_o just_a judgement_n of_o almighty_a god_n that_o he_o have_v permit_v this_o corrupt_a church_n so_o foul_o to_o degenerate_v in_o some_o particular_a instance_n the_o better_a to_o preserve_v honest_a and_o well-meaning_a soul_n from_o be_v carry_v
