how_o it_o perform_v all_o these_o thing_n what_o it_o be_v whether_o spiritual_a or_o corporal_a we_o know_v not_o i_o believe_v my_o soul_n to_o be_v both_o immortal_a and_o spiritual_a and_o i_o have_v read_v several_a treatise_n pretend_v to_o a_o clear_a demonstration_n of_o its_o spiritual_a nature_n which_o i_o can_v never_o yet_o see_v nor_o any_o impartial_a judge_n i_o be_o afraid_a shall_v ever_o be_v sensible_a of_o because_o we_o can_v have_v no_o certitude_n from_o the_o light_n of_o reason_n that_o she_o have_v either_o be_v or_o operation_n not_o depend_v upon_o matter_n the_o matter_n of_o nothing_o may_v change_v the_o same_o into_o a_o be_v capable_a to_o do_v and_o in_o a_o more_o perfect_a manner_n to_o whatever_o our_o soul_n perform_v for_o i_o conceive_v it_o to_o be_v but_o a_o mere_a prejudice_n and_o not_o reason_n that_o lead_v we_o to_o say_v that_o whatever_o think_v or_o reason_n be_v of_o a_o spiritual_a nature_n it_o be_v observable_a then_o little_a of_o the_o fabric_n of_o our_o body_n here_o we_o be_v admirer_n and_o not_o philosopher_n since_o we_o can_v give_v but_o a_o very_a imperfect_a and_o a_o scarce_o rational_a account_n of_o what_o we_o behold_v in_o ourselves_o and_o know_v not_o neither_o how_o we_o live_v how_o we_o grow_v how_o we_o move_v nor_o from_o what_o part_n of_o the_o body_n the_o blood_n begin_v to_o circulate_v or_o in_o what_o part_n of_o the_o eye_n the_o vision_n be_v make_v or_o whether_o the_o child_n breath_n be_v in_o the_o womb_n or_o not_o etc._n etc._n in_o one_o word_n the_o wholâ—_n
