offence_n may_v be_v either_o great_a or_o lesser_a m._n and_o in_o what_o sort_n must_v man_n there_o proceed_v must_v these_o censure_n and_o correction_n be_v do_v secret_o or_o public_o p._n here_o must_v again_o be_v consider_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o fault_n for_o if_o they_o be_v small_a and_o secret_a a_o secret_a censure_n and_o correction_n may_v suffice_v m._n but_o if_o which_o they_o be_v that_o he_o avow_v for_o member_n of_o his_o church_n or_o else_o that_o he_o hold_v for_o rot_a member_n cut_v of_o and_o cast_v out_o of_o the_o same_o and_o consequent_o from_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n into_o the_o which_o none_o may_v enter_v except_o he_o be_v in_o deed_n first_o a_o member_n of_o the_o church_n and_o by_o the_o mean_a of_o the_o same_o if_o excommunication_n may_v extend_v further_o than_o to_o the_o disobedient_a m._n see_v then_o that_o excommunication_n belong_v proper_o to_o the_o disobedient_a may_v they_o then_o excommunicate_v those_o which_o acknowledge_v their_o fault_n how_o great_a so_o ever_o it_o be_v and_o do_v give_v testimony_n evident_a enough_o of_o their_o repentance_n before_o they_o be_v excommunicate_v p._n and_o ignorance_n the_o which_o man_n may_v not_o as_o easy_o correct_v as_o they_o will_v but_o be_v great_a offence_n m._n i_o do_v well_o grant_v thou_o that_o foâ—_n rebellion_n and_o contempt_n of_o admonition_n and_o warning_n be_v a_o very_a great_a fault_n and_o a_o very_a evil_a example_n in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n which_o ought_v not_o there_o to_o be_v endure_v p._n thou_o have_v also_o to_o note_n that_o albeit_o a_o sinner_n do_v acknowledge_v his_o fault_n at_o the_o first_o or_o second_o admonition_n and_o warning_n that_o shall_v be_v give_v he_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o it_o may_v be_v such_o that_o for_o example_n the_o sinner_n may_v deserve_v to_o be_v at_o the_o least_o suspend_v from_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o sacrament_n for_o a_o time_n m._n why_o so_o if_o there_o be_v no_o manifest_a rebellion_n p._n in_o part_n to_o prove_v the_o better_a the_o repentance_n of_o the_o sinner_n and_o in_o time_n the_o better_a to_o judge_v whether_o there_o be_v feign_v in_o it_o or_o no_o and_o apert_o to_o give_v example_n to_o other_o to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v he_o the_o more_o afraid_a to_o offend_v and_o that_o all_o together_o they_o may_v learn_v the_o better_a to_o honour_v the_o sacrament_n and_o to_o take_v heed_n how_o they_o contaminate_v and_o profane_v they_o by_o their_o slanderous_a vice_n for_o as_o it_o
be_v account_v as_o mutine_n and_o rebel_n against_o god_n &_o his_o word_n as_o themselves_o do_v manifest_o declare_v of_o the_o difference_n that_o must_v be_v put_v between_o the_o ignorant_a and_o which_o they_o be_v of_o they_o that_o ought_v to_o be_v hold_v for_o dog_n and_o swine_v m._n sing_v thou_o have_v say_v that_o the_o sacrament_n belong_v but_o to_o such_o as_o be_v already_o sufficient_o instruct_v in_o the_o christian_a doctrine_n do_v thou_o they_o think_v that_o the_o other_o which_o be_v not_o as_o yet_o sufficient_o instruct_v aught_o to_o be_v admit_v to_o the_o thither_o in_o time_n m._n which_o be_v they_o then_o who_o thou_o account_v for_o dog_n and_o swine_n p._n in_o respect_n of_o the_o doctrine_n i_o account_v such_o all_o those_o which_o be_v not_o only_o ignorant_a of_o the_o same_o but_o that_o which_o worse_o be_v they_o will_v be_v ignorant_a of_o purpose_n &_o they_o scoff_v at_o it_o reject_v it_o and_o blaspheme_v it_o yea_o and_o oftentimes_o do_v persecute_v it_o and_o they_o also_o which_o teach_v it_o unto_o they_o m._n these_o man_n be_v worthy_a to_o be_v account_v dog_n and_o swine_n see_v they_o so_o tread_v under_o their_o foot_n the_o holy_a doctrine_n of_o god_o and_o that_o they_o turn_v again_o upon_o his_o servant_n which_o set_v it_o forth_o to_o they_o to_o rend_v in_o piece_n and_o devour_v they_o p._n the_o communion_n of_o the_o sacrament_n but_o also_o from_o the_o communication_n of_o the_o doctrine_n &_o to_o be_v clear_o shut_v from_o the_o assembly_n of_o the_o church_n of_o those_o that_o declare_v themselves_o swine_v and_o dog_n in_o their_o life_n m._n thou_o haste_v now_o speak_v of_o they_o which_o declare_v themselves_o dog_n &_o swine_n touch_v the_o doctrine_n but_o thou_o have_v not_o speak_v of_o they_o yet_o who_o declare_v themselves_o such_o by_o their_o wicked_a life_n p._n thou_o may_v place_v in_o this_o rank_n all_o such_o as_o lead_v licentious_a life_n and_o make_v none_o account_v of_o amendment_n what_o admonition_n soever_o be_v give_v unto_o they_o but_o do_v contemn_v or_o rather_o outrage_n those_o which_o do_v admonish_v and_o blame_v they_o m._n deserve_v to_o be_v so_o reject_v not_o only_o from_o the_o assembly_n of_o the_o church_n but_o also_o from_o all_o other_o good_a company_n i_o doubt_n not_o but_o the_o like_a must_v be_v do_v to_o all_o those_o which_o be_v spot_v with_o vice_n and_o fault_n which_o be_v as_o great_a or_o great_a than_o be_v these_o p._n that_o be_v easy_a to_o understand_v whether_o the_o discipline_n ordain_v by_o jesus_n christ_n be_v necessary_a in_o the_o church_n or_o no._n m._n do_v thou_o think_v that_o this_o discipline_n be_v so_o necessary_a for_o the_o church_n that_o it_o can_v in_o anywise_o be_v without_o it_o p._n she_o may_v be_v without_o it_o if_o she_o may_v be_v without_o the_o administration_n and_o the_o use_n of_o the_o sacrament_n and_o of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n in_o so_o much_o as_o the_o word_n and_o the_o sacrament_n can_v not_o there_o be_v due_o administer_v without_o the_o same_o m._n i_o have_v notwithstanding_o hear_v many_o which_o account_n it_o among_o the_o indifferent_a thing_n affirm_v that_o man_n may_v whole_o omit_v it_o or_o else_o use_v it_o accord_v to_o every_o man_n his_o liberty_n p._n albeit_o that_o these_o man_n speak_v open_o against_o the_o express_a word_n of_o jesus_n christ_n yet_o be_v they_o not_o so_o unreasonable_a as_o those_o which_o condemn_v it_o &_o utter_o reject_v it_o m._n this_o last_o sort_n do_v show_v themselves_o too_o much_o unworthy_a to_o be_v account_v christian_n but_o why_o say_v thou_o that_o the_o first_o have_v no_o good_a foundation_n for_o that_o they_o say_v p._n do_v thou_o think_v that_o man_n may_v account_v among_o indifferent_a thing_n those_o which_o be_v express_o command_v or_o forbid_v of_o god_n m._n i_o do_v not_o see_v that_o it_o be_v in_o the_o power_n of_o man_n to_o dispense_v with_o any_o thing_n that_o god_n have_v either_o command_v or_o forbid_v but_o be_v there_o express_a commandment_n touch_v this_o discipline_n p._n neither_o more_o nor_o less_o by_o he_o now_o thou_o have_v already_o understand_v heretofore_o how_o he_o have_v give_v we_o his_o own_o son_n to_o do_v that_o office_n in_o who_o only_o we_o must_v repose_v if_o we_o will_v saint_n which_o reign_n already_o in_o heaven_n with_o he_o concern_v their_o soul_n and_o spirit_n to_o be_v also_o our_o mediator_n and_o advocate_n with_o he_o or_o else_o towards_o himself_o
