servant_n but_o only_o to_o wait_v until_o god_n shall_v move_v the_o water_n i_o mean_v change_v their_o heart_n and_o all_o instruction_n and_o catechise_n be_v needless_a and_o that_o bring_v up_o youth_n to_o a_o knowledge_n of_o the_o form_n of_o sound_a word_n be_v only_o to_o learn_v they_o to_o be_v hypocrite_n etc._n etc._n god_n therefore_o to_o show_v we_o the_o advantage_n of_o spiritual_a knowledge_n and_o to_o mind_v we_o of_o and_o encourage_v we_o to_o our_o spiritual_a duty_n be_v please_v sometime_o to_o make_v his_o way_n to_o the_o head_n by_o the_o heart_n reflect_v the_o notion_n of_o truth_n which_o have_v be_v instill_v into_o we_o while_o we_o be_v young_a upon_o our_o conscience_n make_v that_o knowledge_n instrumental_a to_o our_o conversion_n and_o eternal_a salvation_n and_o so_o let_v the_o governor_n of_o other_o know_v that_o they_o have_v not_o labour_v in_o vain_a with_o the_o soul_n commit_v to_o their_o charge_n 2._o on_o the_o other_o side_n god_n sometime_o make_v his_o way_n by_o the_o heart_n to_o the_o head_n make_v impression_n upon_o the_o heart_n of_o some_o poor_a blind_a ignorant_a soul_n and_o set_v they_o on_o work_n to_o inquire_v after_o salvation_n let_v we_o know_v that_o the_o conversion_n of_o a_o sinner_n be_v a_o work_n of_o grace_n and_o divine_a power_n not_o a_o mere_a rational_a effect_n of_o notion_n imprint_v upon_o the_o understanding_n nor_o of_o moral_a suasion_n alas_o these_o poor_a creature_n possible_o be_v not_o fit_a object_n for_o such_o a_o thing_n but_o the_o finger_n of_o god_n be_v in_o it_o who_o have_v the_o heart_n of_o all_o man_n in_o his_o hand_n and_o turn_v they_o as_o it_o please_v he_o thus_o by_o this_o variety_n of_o his_o providence_n he_o do_v both_o honour_n his_o own_o ordinance_n and_o show_v the_o profit_n and_o usefulness_n of_o mean_n and_o also_o the_o mighty_a power_n that_o be_v put_v forth_o in_o the_o change_n of_o the_o heart_n by_o effectual_a doubt_v and_o suspect_v whether_o god_n have_v wrought_v any_o real_a change_n in_o they_o because_o they_o have_v not_o be_v in_o the_o belly_n of_o hell_n as_o other_o have_v be_v now_o there_o may_v be_v a_o reasonable_a account_n also_o give_v of_o this_o difference_n though_o we_o must_v not_o pretend_v to_o find_v out_o the_o bottom_n of_o the_o divine_a counsel_n in_o this_o of_o these_o sad_a and_o dark_a constitution_n it_o be_v not_o at_o all_o to_o be_v wonder_v they_o be_v natural_o more_o prone_a to_o fear_n and_o jealousy_n to_o doubt_n and_o suspicion_n and_o more_o tenacious_a of_o grief_n and_o sorrow_n if_o by_o the_o work_n the_o natural_a work_n of_o these_o passion_n to_o which_o their_o natural_a complexion_n and_o constitution_n more_o full_o subject_v they_o if_o they_o be_v long_o under_o the_o spirit_n of_o bondage_n than_o other_o you_o will_v see_v at_o the_o same_o case_n with_o they_o in_o other_o thing_n exciting_a those_o passion_n and_o unless_o you_o will_v suppose_v that_o god_n in_o the_o conversion_n of_o such_o shall_v work_v miraculous_o and_o alter_v their_o natural_a complexion_n and_o constitution_n it_o be_v not_o reasonable_a to_o suppose_v that_o it_o shall_v be_v otherwise_o it_o be_v but_o according_a to_o the_o natural_a working_n of_o their_o spirit_n who_o can_v get_v off_o no_o occasion_n of_o sorrow_n and_o trouble_n so_o soon_o as_o other_o can_v who_o be_v of_o more_o airy_a &_o cheer_o constitution_n 2._o but_o a_o second_o reason_n of_o this_o variety_n may_v reasonable_o be_v conceive_v to_o arise_v from_o a_o difference_n of_o guilt_n it_o be_v true_a every_o sin_n deserve_v the_o eternal_a and_o utmost_a wrath_n of_o god_n every_o sin_n be_v against_o a_o infinite_a god_n and_o have_v a_o kind_n of_o infinity_n and_o unmeasurableness_n of_o guilt_n in_o it_o but_o it_o be_v as_o true_a that_o every_o sin_n do_v not_o lay_v a_o like_a load_n and_o burden_n upon_o the_o conscience_n nor_o be_v every_o sin_n equal_o heinous_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n but_o be_v very_o much_o vary_v by_o the_o circumstance_n of_o it_o both_o by_o the_o circumstance_n of_o the_o fact_n and_o of_o the_o person_n that_o commit_v it_o some_o sin_n do_v more_o vastare_fw-la &_o onerare_fw-la conscientiam_fw-la and_o consequent_o a_o christian_n find_v it_o a_o hard_a matter_n to_o persuade_v himself_o that_o god_n will_v forgive_v he_o than_o other_o and_o hence_o it_o be_v not_o at_o all_o to_o be_v wonder_v that_o when_o god_n come_v to_o call_v home_o such_o
