and_o maintainer_n of_o his_o worship_n which_o be_v for_o comfort_n of_o those_o who_o friend_n and_o such_o from_o who_o they_o have_v their_o maintenance_n be_v popish_a and_o will_v hate_v they_o and_o be_v enemy_n to_o they_o if_o they_o be_v enemy_n to_o superstition_n and_o love_n god_n and_o his_o worship_n but_o fear_v not_o that_o god_n be_v a_o strong_a god_n if_o they_o will_v not_o help_v he_o will_v they_o have_v no_o such_o power_n against_o you_o as_o god_n have_v for_o you_o so_o long_o as_o you_o continue_v upright_o in_o his_o worship_n this_o be_v also_o for_o the_o terror_n of_o all_o idolatrous_a and_o superstitious_a person_n that_o have_v many_o thing_n to_o uphold_v they_o and_o be_v well_o friend_v and_o strong_a defend_v but_o yet_o mischief_n shall_v be_v their_o end_n in_o the_o end_n because_o he_o be_v strong_a than_o all_o man_n that_o set_v himself_o against_o they_o and_o who_o they_o provoke_v even_o to_o jealousy_n by_o their_o filthiness_n who_o see_v all_o their_o way_n as_o he_o say_v pull_v out_o thy_o adultery_n from_o betwixt_o thy_o breast_n that_o be_v those_o monument_n of_o idolatry_n which_o idolater_n put_v so_o much_o fare_v the_o worse_a for_o his_o wickedness_n and_o so_o jeroboam_fw-la that_o seducer_n of_o israel_n he_o think_v by_o his_o idolatry_n to_o have_v establish_v the_o kingdom_n to_o he_o &_o he_o
before_o their_o child_n shall_v make_v even_o with_o they_o and_o revenge_n and_o quit_v there_o parent_n wrong_n to_o the_o full_a by_o the_o like_a favage_a deal_n with_o they_o a_o second_o duty_n they_o out_o of_o their_o sin_n many_o have_v live_v a_o long_a time_n with_o their_o parent_n yet_o can_v say_v that_o they_o send_v up_o a_o hearty_a prayer_n to_o heaven_n for_o their_o parent_n so_o unnatural_a and_o unthankful_a be_v they_o the_o use_n of_o all_o these_o duty_n to_o those_o who_o parent_n be_v not_o alive_a be_v to_o look_v that_o their_o sin_n be_v not_o alive_a after_o their_o parent_n death_n and_o therefore_o to_o examine_v themselves_o whether_o they_o have_v be_v faulty_a in_o any_o of_o these_o thing_n and_o if_o they_o do_v repent_v for_o it_o and_o desire_v pardon_n else_o they_o be_v liable_a to_o two_o plague_n first_o that_o their_o child_n shall_v take_v their_o parent_n quarrel_v in_o hand_n and_o requite_v their_o wicked_a deal_n in_o what_o ever_o duty_n they_o have_v fail_v and_o have_v not_o repent_v of_o it_o and_o second_o that_o as_o honour_v parent_n bring_v a_o long_a and_o happy_a life_n so_o their_o dishonour_v their_o parent_n shall_v make_v they_o have_v a_o short_a life_n and_o miserable_a or_o if_o a_o long_a life_n yet_o full_a of_o god_n curse_n for_o their_o unrepented_a son_n therefore_o let_v such_o as_o be_v now_o fatherless_a mark_v themselves_o and_o find_v that_o their_o child_n be_v stubborn_a against_o they_o and_o unthankful_a and_o rebellion_n every_o way_n as_o many_o may_v see_v it_o open_o and_o overthrow_v and_o not_o build_v up_o their_o house_n and_o that_o they_o do_v by_o these_o thing_n pull_v down_o the_o plague_n of_o god_n from_o heaven_n upon_o they_o and_o they_o it_o will_v keep_v they_o from_o enrich_v themselves_o by_o wicked_a way_n and_o make_v they_o take_v heed_n how_o they_o fill_v their_o house_n with_o the_o riches_n of_o iniquity_n for_o fear_v lest_o they_o shall_v love_n be_v true_a hatred_n and_o in_o that_o they_o do_v those_o thing_n that_o god_n hate_v and_o forbid_v what_o ever_o their_o pretence_n be_v they_o be_v hater_n of_o god_n so_o pro._n 13._o he_o a_o regard_n of_o his_o worship_n as_o he_o command_v yet_o i_o hope_v they_o love_v god_n and_o have_v a_o good_a hart_n to_o he_o nay_o they_o be_v not_o honest_a person_n neither_o do_v they_o love_v god_n but_o they_o hate_v god_n for_o this_o be_v as_o if_o a_o wife_n shall_v say_v indeed_o in_o my_o husband_n absence_n i_o must_v have_v another_o man_n to_o keep_v i_o company_n and_o to_o lie_v with_o i_o and_o to_o be_v familiar_a with_o i_o but_o yet_o i_o love_v my_o husband_n the_o husband_n nor_o any_o man_n else_o will_v account_v final_o of_o this_o love_n yea_o they_o will_v think_v the_o wife_n hate_v rather_o than_o love_v her_o husband_n and_o so_o those_o that_o must_v look_v one_o idol_n to_o help_v they_o in_o their_o devotion_n they_o must_v have_v some_o image_n to_o gaze_v on_o that_o they_o may_v be_v put_v in_o mind_n of_o god_n they_o do_v it_o that_o they_o may_v remember_v god_n but_o god_n will_v give_v they_o but_o a_o small_a reward_n for_o this_o love_n yea_o they_o shall_v be_v account_v of_o he_o as_o profess_a enemy_n of_o his_o name_n so_o for_o those_o parent_n that_o be_v so_o kind_a to_o their_o child_n and_o love_v they_o so_o dear_o that_o they_o can_v bring_v they_o up_o in_o nurture_n and_o in_o correction_n and_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n they_o can_v cross_v they_o nor_o go_v against_o they_o in_o their_o ill_a course_n such_o a_o parent_n be_v a_o most_o mortal_a foe_n as_o often_o the_o child_n feel_v afterward_o and_o according_o do_v recompense_v for_o they_o hate_v they_o with_o a_o false_a love_n but_o the_o child_n reward_v it_o with_o a_o true_a hatred_n so_o he_o that_o will_v not_o offend_v his_o friend_n nor_o trouble_v he_o with_o tell_v he_o of_o his_o fault_n but_o rather_o smooth_v up_o all_o and_o flatter_v he_o and_o speak_v fair_a word_n he_o be_v a_o grievous_a enemy_n and_o yet_o who_o be_v there_o almost_o that_o do_v not_o delight_n in_o such_o enemy_n and_o make_v more_o of_o they_o and_o esteem_v they_o more_o welcome_a than_o a_o true_a faithful_a friend_n that_o seek_v his_o soul_n health_n and_o will_v not_o suffer_v he_o to_o fling_v himself_o headlong_o into_o destruction_n but_o we_o must_v learn_v to_o abhor_v all_o carnal_a love_n to_o god_n and_o man_n as_o that_o which_o be_v the_o most_o pernicious_a hatred_n this_o must_v also_o teach_v we_o not_o that_o hate_n god_n &_o help_v they_o what_o have_v thou_o to_o do_v to_o be_v so_o friendly_a &_o familiar_a with_o god_n enemy_n yet_o if_o one_o have_v come_v to_o ahab_n and_o tell_v he_o that_o he_o have_v hate_v god_n he_o will_v have_v defy_v he_o and_o say_v that_o he_o have_v love_v god_n as_o well_o as_o the_o best_a but_o that_o be_v no_o matter_n what_o ahab_n will_v say_v so_o long_o plain_o prove_v that_o he_o love_v a_o beast_n more_o for_o his_o commodity_n sake_n than_o he_o do_v a_o man_n for_o god_n sake_n for_o he_o that_o will_v be_v content_a to_o be_v at_o cost_n and_o charge_n and_o some_o trouble_n also_o with_o his_o disease_a and_o sick_a horse_n his_o sick_a servant_n may_v lie_v and_o die_v and_o he_o will_v never_o come_v at_o he_o nor_o seek_v any_o remedy_n for_o he_o but_o rather_o increase_v his_o pain_n by_o murmur_a and_o grudge_v that_o he_o eat_v and_o he_o drink_v and_o do_v nothing_o but_o spend_v and_o burden_n the_o family_n and_o when_o god_n hand_n have_v restrain_v he_o from_o work_v and_o not_o his_o own_o negligence_n and_o ofttimes_o when_o he_o get_v his_o weakness_n by_o faithful_a and_o painful_a service_n do_v to_o he_o than_o some_o be_v so_o cruel_o and_o miserable_o covetous_a as_o that_o they_o will_v abate_v so_o much_o of_o their_o wage_n as_o the_o time_n of_o their_o sickness_n come_v to_o and_o when_o he_o suffer_v pain_n and_o grief_n enough_o by_o his_o sickness_n than_o he_o that_o shall_v look_v to_o heal_v of_o he_o do_v not_o only_o neglect_v that_o but_o also_o glean_v from_o he_o and_o rob_v he_o of_o his_o wage_n which_o be_v a_o double_a sin_n and_o injury_n so_o much_o for_o the_o duty_n of_o master_n to_o their_o servant_n that_o dwell_v with_o they_o now_o when_o they_o part_v the_o master_n duty_n be_v to_o look_v that_o he_o send_v not_o his_o servant_n away_o empty_a but_o do_v something_o for_o he_o according_a to_o the_o blessing_n of_o god_n upon_o he_o by_o his_o servant_n labour_n &_o according_a to_o his_o own_o ability_n and_o look_v how_o much_o long_o time_n the_o servant_n have_v be_v with_o he_o and_o how_o much_o more_o faithful_a service_n he_o have_v do_v to_o he_o by_o so_o much_o more_o must_v he_o be_v frank_a and_o bountiful_a in_o respect_v and_o believe_v he_o contrary_a to_o this_o be_v the_o deal_n of_o those_o shister_n that_o must_v have_v new_a servant_n every_o year_n for_o that_o either_o they_o be_v so_o bad_a themselves_o as_o none_o will_v stay_v with_o they_o long_o than_o needs_o they_o must_v or_o else_o they_o entertain_v such_o ungodly_a person_n into_o there_o family_n as_o it_o be_v not_o sit_v that_o they_o shall_v tarry_v long_o in_o any_o place_n and_o those_o that_o take_v in_o such_o manner_n servant_n as_o deserve_v no_o recompense_n because_o they_o employ_v their_o labour_n about_o such_o thing_n as_o the_o family_n have_v no_o benefit_n by_o they_o but_o be_v fit_v only_o to_o serve_v their_o master_n lust_n in_o vanity_n and_o foolishness_n for_o such_o it_o be_v just_a that_o though_o they_o dwell_v many_o year_n in_o a_o place_n they_o shall_v have_v no_o reward_n give_v they_o because_o their_o labour_n have_v bring_v no_o good_a to_o the_o family_n no_o body_n have_v be_v a_o gainer_n or_o better_v by_o it_o but_o here_o be_v a_o great_a fault_n on_o both_o part_n for_o both_o the_o master_n be_v a_o fool_n to_o give_v harbour_n to_o such_o unprofitable_a companion_n and_o the_o servant_n be_v a_o fool_n to_o spend_v his_o time_n and_o pain_n about_o such_o base_a service_n as_o can_v be_v benefit_n to_o no_o body_n and_o here_o it_o be_v just_a that_o both_o shall_v be_v loser_n but_o when_o one_o have_v have_v a_o servant_n that_o have_v be_v with_o he_o a_o long_a time_n and_o do_v he_o faithful_a service_n so_o employ_v his_o labour_n and_o spend_v both_o his_o day_n and_o strength_n as_o that_o some_o profit_n and_o commodity_n redownd_v to_o the_o family_n and_o the_o master_n estate_n have_v be_v better_o by_o his_o careful_a diligence_n now_o by_o continuance_n of_o time_n and_o by_o this_o profitable_a society_n they_o have_v the_o servant_n shall_v grow_v to_o be_v unto_o he_o as_o a_o child_n and_o he_o if_o he_o will_v seem_v to_o be_v one_o of_o a_o good_a nature_n upon_o so_o long_a experience_n of_o his_o faithful_a and_o love_a carriage_n shall_v put_v on_o the_o affection_n of_o father_n to_o he_o for_o indeed_o nature_n show_v that_o it_o be_v a_o shame_n for_o one_o to_o put_v away_o his_o old_a servant_n that_o have_v wear_v out_o his_o body_n in_o his_o service_n without_o bestow_v his_o liberality_n upon_o he_o in_o some_o measure_n according_a to_o his_o own_o ability_n and_o his_o servant_n labour_n but_o it_o be_v the_o custom_n of_o most_o man_n now_o a_o day_n so_o wretched_o covetous_a be_v they_o grow_v that_o they_o deal_v with_o their_o servant_n as_o one_o will_v deal_v with_o a_o horse_n when_o he_o grow_v old_a and_o world_n to_o shift_v for_o themselves_o as_o they_o can_v and_o they_o must_v either_o beg_v or_o steal_v or_o starve_v and_o thus_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o many_o become_v thief_n and_o vagrant_a beggar_n through_o the_o master_n base_a niggardliness_n that_o will_v not_o do_v his_o duty_n in_o bestow_v some_o proportionable_a and_o competent_a relief_n upon_o they_o so_o much_o for_o their_o duty_n that_o be_v further_o of_o from_o equality_n in_o the_o family_n as_o parent_n and_o child_n master_n and_o servant_n now_o those_o that_o be_v more_o equal_a be_v the_o husband_n and_o wife_n who_o duty_n be_v either_o common_a to_o both_o or_o more_o particular_a to_o either_o of_o they_o the_o common_a duty_n be_v these_o first_o they_o must_v love_v one_o a_o other_o with_o a_o pure_a heart_n fervent_o this_o duty_n both_o husband_n and_o wife_n must_v perform_v natural_o one_o to_o a_o other_o which_o that_o they_o may_v the_o better_o strive_v for_o let_v we_o other_o true_o they_o be_v guard_v from_o all_o strange_a lust_n even_o in_o heart_n that_o they_o will_v not_o allow_v any_o unchaste_a desire_n much_o less_o any_o unchaste_a look_n or_o action_n for_o so_o in_o proverb_n 5._o 19_o 20._o delight_n in_o thy_o wife_n and_o rejoice_v in_o her_o love_n for_o why_o shall_v thou_o go_v after_o strange_a woman_n as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v sure_a you_o call_v it_o a_o sport_n it_o be_v a_o very_a devilish_a sport_n to_o use_v the_o body_n as_o a_o instrument_n of_o wantonness_n and_o a_o inducement_n to_o fornication_n and_o adultery_n those_o also_o have_v offend_v in_o wantonness_n that_o give_v themselves_o liberty_n to_o be_v present_a and_o see_v such_o thing_n that_o be_v practice_n of_o wantonness_n as_o stage_n play_v which_o serve_v for_o nothing_o but_o to_o nourish_v filthiness_n and_o where_o they_o be_v most_o use_v their_o filthiness_n be_v most_o practise_v where_o the_o man_n be_v clothe_v with_o woman_n apparel_n and_o that_o as_o ordinary_o be_v put_v in_o use_n which_o the_o lord_n call_v abomination_n this_o be_v a_o way_n to_o breed_v confusion_n of_o sex_n and_o it_o be_v a_o plain_a belie_n of_o the_o sex_n those_o that_o than_o have_v thus_o hurt_v themselves_o or_o other_o must_v crave_v pardon_n and_o repent_v and_o those_o parent_n that_o themselves_o in_o youth_n have_v take_v liberty_n this_o way_n must_v restrain_v their_o child_n contrary_a to_o the_o common_a practice_n of_o filthy_a parent_n that_o have_v themselves_o be_v old_a fornicator_n and_o wanton_n now_o that_o themselves_o be_v spend_v it_o do_v they_o good_a and_o make_v their_o â—eart_n glad_a to_o see_v their_o young_a child_n tread_v in_o their_o step_n and_o run_v mad_v and_o skip_v up_o and_o down_o with_o all_o wanton_a and_o unseemly_a behaviour_n this_o however_o man_n make_v but_o a_o sport_n of_o it_o yet_o god_n will_v not_o tolerate_v for_o if_o he_o can_v put_v up_o the_o abuse_n of_o one_o member_n alone_o to_o wantonness_n he_o will_v never_o endure_v that_o the_o whole_a body_n shall_v be_v thus_o abuse_v thus_o much_o of_o the_o seven_o commandment_n concern_v preserve_v our_o own_o and_o a_o
