but the Sonne abideth ever John V. 36 If the Sonne therefore shall make you free ye shall be free indeed John V. 37 I know that ye are Abrahams seed but ye seek to kill me because my word hath no place in you John V. 38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father and ye do that which ye have seen with your father They answered and said unto him John V. 39 Abraham is our father Jesus saith unto them If ye were Abrahams children ye would do the works of Abraham But now ye seek to kill me John V. 40 a man that hath told you the truth which I have heard of God this did not Abraham John V. 41 Ye do the deeds of your father Then said they to him We be not born of fornication we have one Father even God Jesus said unto them John V. 42 If God were your Father ye would love me for I proceeded forth and came from God neither came I of my self but he sent me John V. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech even because ye cannot heare my word Ye are of your father the devil John V. 44 and the lusts of your father ye will do he was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him When he speaketh a lie he speaketh of his own for he is a liar and the father of it And because I tell you the truth John Ch. 8 V. 45 ye beleeve me not John V. 46 Which of you convinceth me of sinne and if I say the truth why do ye not beleeve me He that is of God John V. 47 heareth Gods words ye therefore heare them not because ye are not of God Then answered the Jews John V. 48 and said unto him Say we not well that thou art a Samaritane and hast a devil Jesus answered John V. 49 I have not a devil but I honour my Father and ye do dishonour me And I seek not mine own glorie John V. 50 there is one that seeketh and judgeth John V. 51 Verily verily I say unto you If a man keep my saying he he shall never see death John V. 52 Then said the Jews unto him Now we know that thou hast a devil Abraham is dead and the prophets thou sayest If a man keep my saying he shall never taste of death Art thou greater then our father Abraham John V. 53 which is dead and the prophets are dead whom makest thou thy self Jesus answered John V. 54 If I honour my self my honour is nothing it is my Father that honoureth me of whom ye say that he is your God Yet ye have not known him John V. 55 but I know him and if I should say I know him not I shall be a liar like unto you but I know him and keep his saying John V. 56 Your father Abraham rejoyced to see my day and he saw it and was glad John V. 57 Then said the Jews unto him Thou art not yet fiftie yeares old and hast thou seen Abraham John V. 58 Jesus said unto them Verily verily I say unto you Before Abraham was I am John V. 59 Then took they up stons to cast at him but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple going through the midst of them and so passed by CHAP. CIIII. The seventie disciples return Christs spirituall joy and the beatitude of the disciples L Luke Ch. 10 V. 17 ANd the seventie returned again with joy saying Lord even the devils are subject unto us through thy name Luke V. 18 And he said unto them I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven Luke V. 19 Behold I give unto you power to tread on scrpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemie and nothing shall by any means hurt you Notwithstanding in this rejoyce not Luke V. 20 that the spirits are subject unto you but rather rejoyce because your names are written in heaven * Matth. Ch. 11 V. 25 Luke V. 21 In that houre Jesus rejoyced in spirit said I thank thee O Father Lord of heaven and earth that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and hast revealed them unto babes even so Father for so it seemed good in thy sight Luke V. 22 All things are delivered to me of my Father and no man knoweth who the Sonne is but the Father and who the Father is but the Sonne and he to whom the Sonne will reveal him Luke V. 23 And he turned him unto his disciples and said privately Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see * Matth. 2. Mr. Mark Ch. 13 V. 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple M Matth. V. 3 the disciples Mr. Mark Ch. 13 V. 3 Peter and James and John and Andrew M Matth. V. 3 came unto him privately Mr. Mark Ch. 13 V. 3 and asked him privately M Matth. V. 3 saying L Luke V. 7 Master M Matth. V. 3 Tell us when shall these things be Mr. Mark V. 4 and what shall be the signe when all these things L Luke V. 7 shall come to passe and Mr. Mark V. 4 shall be fulfilled M Matth. V. 4 and what shall be the signe of thy coming and of the end of the world And Mr. Mark V. 5 Jesus answering them began to say M Matth. V. 4 and said unto them Take heed that no man deceive you Matth. V. 5 For many shall come in my name saying I am Christ L Luke V. 8 and the time draweth neare and shall deceive many L Luke V. 9 go ye not therefore after them But when ye shall heare of warres and commotions M Matth. V. 6 and rumours of warres see that ye be not troubled L Luke V. 9 be not terrified M Matth. V. 6 for all L Luke V. 9 these things must first come to passe M Matth. V. 6 but the end is not yet L Luke V. 9 by by Luke V. 10 Then said he unto them Nation shall rise against nation and kingdome against kingdome Luke V. 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places M Matth. V. 7 and there shall be famines and pestilences Mr. Mark V. 8 and troubles L Luke V. 11 and fearfull sights and great signes shall there be from heaven M Matth. V. 8 All these are Mr. Mark V. 9 the beginnings of sorrows But take heed to your selves for L Luke Ch. 21 V. 12 before all these they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you delivering you up to Mr. Mark V. 9 councels and L Luke Ch. 21 V. 12 to the Synagogues and into prisons being brought before kings and rulers for my names sake Mr. Mark V. 9 ye shall be beaten and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake L Luke V. 13 And it shall turn to you for a testimonie and Mr. Mark V. 9 against them M Matth. Ch. 24 V. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you and ye shall be hated of all nations for my names sake Matth. V. 10 And then shall many be offended and shall betray one another and shall hate one another And many false prophets shall rise Matth. V. 11 and shall deceive many Matth. V. 12 And because iniquitie shall abound the love of many shall wax cold Mr. Mark Ch. 13 V. 10 And the Gospel must first be published among all nations M Matth. V. 14 And this Gospel of the kingdome shall be preached in all the world for a witnesse unto all nations and then shall the end come Mr. Mark V. 11 But when they shall leade you and deliver you up take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak neither do ye premeditate but whatsoever shall be given you in that houre that speak ye for it is not ye that speak but the holy Ghost L Luke V. 14 * Matth. Ch. 10 V. 19 Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate before what ye shall answer Luke V. 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdome which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist Luke V. 16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren and kinsfolk and friends and some of you shall they cause to be put to death Mr. Mark V. 12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death and the father the sonne and children shall rise up against their parents and shall cause them to be put to death Mark V. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my names sake * Matth. Ch. 10 V. 30 L Luke V. 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish Luke V. 19 In your patience possesse ye your souls M Matth. Ch. 24 V. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end the same shall be saved Sect. 3. V. 15 in the holy place whoso readeth let him understand Matth. V. 16 Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains L Luke V. 21 and let them which are in the midst of it depart out and let not them that are in the countreys enter thereinto Mr. Mark V. 15 And let him that is on the house top not go down into the house neither enter therein to take any thing out of his house And let him that is in the field Mark V. 16 not turn back again for to take up his garment or M Matth. V. 18 to take his clothes L Luke V. 22 For these be the dayes of vengeance that all things which are written may be fulfilled M Matth. V. 19 And wo unto them that are with childe and to them that give suck in those dayes Matth. V. 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter neither on the sabbath-day Matth. V. 21 For then shall be great tribulation and L Luke V. 23 great distresse in the land and wrath upon this people Mr. Mark V. 19 For in those dayes shall be affliction such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time neither M Matth. V. 21 ever shall be L Luke V. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations and Jerusalem shall be troden down of the Gentiles untill the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled M Matth. V. 22 And except those dayes should be shortened and Mr. Mark V. 20 the Lord had shortened those dayes no flesh should be saved but for the elects sake whom he hath chosen he hath shortened the dayes and M Matth. V. 22 those dayes shall be shortened Mr. Mark Ch. 13 V. 21 And then if any man shall say to you Lo here is Christ or lo he is there beleeve him not Mark V. 22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise M Matth. Ch. 24 V. 24 and shall shew great signes and wonders Mr. Mark V. 22 to seduce
