kingdom_n of_o heaven_n but_o if_o you_o think_v this_o distance_n of_o height_n from_o earth_n to_o heaven_n not_o sufficient_o to_o express_v the_o greatness_n of_o god_n mercy_n then_o take_v the_o distance_n of_o length_n from_o east_n to_o west_n for_o as_o far_o as_o the_o east_n be_v from_o the_o west_n so_o far_o verse_n 12_o have_v he_o remove_v our_o sin_n from_o we_o that_o if_o the_o east_n and_o the_o west_n can_v never_o come_v to_o meet_v together_o no_o more_o shall_v our_o sin_n be_v ever_o able_a to_o come_v against_o we_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n but_o alas_o this_o give_v not_o so_o good_a satisfaction_n as_o the_o other_o for_o though_o the_o distance_n from_o east_n to_o west_n be_v vast_a indeed_o to_o we_o as_o to_o which_o our_o sight_n can_v reach_v represent_v by_o the_o manner_n of_o christ_n hang_v upon_o the_o cross_n where_o his_o foot_n and_o his_o head_n seem_v to_o point_n from_o earth_n to_o heaven_n and_o the_o stretch_v out_o his_o hand_n seem_v to_o point_v from_o east_n to_o west_n but_o though_o relation_n to_o christ_n be_v not_o the_o ground_n of_o these_o expression_n yet_o it_o can_v be_v doubt_v but_o that_o they_o sufficient_o express_v the_o greatness_n of_o god_n mercy_n see_v they_o be_v the_o great_a distance_n that_o humane_a apprehension_n be_v capable_a to_o conceive_v but_o if_o you_o be_v not_o satisfy_v with_o these_o expressing_n from_o distance_n of_o place_n then_o take_v a_o express_v from_o the_o affection_n of_o nature_n verse_n 13_o for_o as_o a_o father_n pity_v his_o child_n so_o the_o lord_n pity_v they_o that_o fear_v he_o and_o now_o let_v any_o that_o be_v a_o father_n examine_v his_o own_o bowel_n how_o much_o he_o pity_v his_o child_n and_o then_o say_v if_o god_n pity_v still_o and_o can_v indeed_o be_v match_v alas_o it_o can_v be_v express_v by_o any_o thing_n that_o be_v in_o man_n but_o though_o there_o may_v be_v comparison_n in_o the_o tenderness_n of_o their_o pity_n yet_o in_o the_o ability_n there_o can_v be_v none_o for_o a_o father_n pity_v oftentime_o a_o child_n when_o he_o can_v help_v he_o but_o god_n pity_n be_v always_o active_a and_o powerful_a and_o never_o without_o relieve_v that_o though_o it_o be_v common_o say_v it_o be_v better_a to_o be_v envy_v then_o pity_v yet_o here_o it_o be_v not_o so_o but_o it_o be_v a_o far_o happy_a thing_n these_o be_v delusion_n and_o imposture_n the_o way_n to_o be_v true_o lighten_v indeed_o be_v to_o look_v to_o god_n for_o he_o be_v the_o father_n of_o light_n and_o as_o there_o be_v nothing_o with_o he_o so_o there_o come_v nothing_o from_o he_o but_o only_o light_n o_o then_o my_o soul_n look_v to_o god_n and_o he_o will_v lighten_v thou_o look_v to_o he_o with_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n
