and_o fix_v and_o their_o hope_n repose_v upon_o frail_a &_o deceitful_a creature_n which_o be_v understand_v by_o a_o dry_a land_n desert_n &_o unoccupy_v by_o this_o also_o it_o be_v manifest_a in_o how_o excellent_a a_o place_n the_o world_n itself_o be_v plant_v plant_v which_o certain_o be_v plant_v in_o a_o dry_a &_o barren_a ground_n see_v it_o have_v the_o foot_n of_o his_o hope_n place_v hope_n &_o confidence_n for_o to_o know_v that_o god_n have_v so_o great_a a_o care_n over_o he_o and_o that_o he_o be_v defend_v and_o govern_v of_o he_o with_o so_o

hereafter_o we_o regard_v and_o respect_v ourselves_o before_o we_o be_v confound_v and_o utter_o cast_v down_o let_v we_o give_v the_o glory_n to_o god_n it_o be_v better_a here_o that_o thy_o tongue_n shall_v be_v dry_v up_o through_o fast_v then_o to_o keep_v it_o moist_a and_o there_o to_o desire_v that_o moisture_n which_o be_v deny_v be_v eternal_a pain_n here_o with_o small_a labour_n ship_n be_v drown_v the_o sailor_n be_v for_o no_o use_n neither_o be_v a_o physician_n profitable_a when_o the_o disease_a dye_n then_o although_o too_o late_o they_o shall_v disclaim_v their_o substance_n as_o well_o in_o his_o house_n as_o in_o his_o field_n notwithstanding_o that_o putiphar_n joseph_n master_n be_v a_o idolater_n what_o bountifulness_n what_o providence_n can_v be_v reason_n of_o this_o providence_n because_o this_o divine_a providence_n do_v extend_v itself_o to_o many_o and_o wonderful_a effect_n therefore_o god_n have_v in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n diverse_a name_n father_n he_o be_v most_o usual_o and_o solemn_o call_v a_o father_n as_o in_o like_a manner_n god_n in_o most_o place_n of_o the_o gospel_n call_v we_o his_o most_o love_a son_n and_o not_o only_o in_o the_o gospel_n but_o also_o in_o many_o place_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n for_o so_o the_o prophet_n say_v in_o his_o psalm_n 103_o as_o a_o father_n have_v compassion_n on_o his_o child_n so_o have_v the_o lord_n compassion_n on_o they_o that_o fear_v he_o for_o he_o know_v whereof_o we_o be_v make_v he_o remember_v that_o we_o be_v but_o dust_n because_o it_o seem_v but_o a_o after_o this_o manner_n he_o threaten_v they_o by_o the_o mouth_n of_o his_o prophet_n 11._o say_v i_o will_v not_o feed_v you_o that_o that_o die_v let_v it_o die_v and_o that_o that_o perish_v let_v it_o perish_v and_o let_v the_o remnant_n eat_v every_o one_o the_o flesh_n of_o his_o neighbour_n the_o same_o thing_n moses_n object_v to_o israel_n in_o his_o song_n i_o will_v hide_v say_v the_o as_o he_o do_v 18._o who_o let_v himself_o blood_n while_o he_o be_v in_o health_n the_o second_o be_v that_o he_o that_o follow_v our_o counsel_n be_v sure_a to_o offer_v a_o sacrifice_n acceptable_a to_o god_n after_o a_o certain_a manner_n like_o unto_o that_o which_o abraham_n offer_v when_o he_o prepare_v himself_o to_o â—ffer_v his_o son_n isaac_n for_o as_o often_o as_o man_n do_v set_v down_o with_o himself_o that_o this_o evil_a or_o that_o may_v happen_v unto_o he_o from_o god_n or_o from_o man_n and_o he_o as_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n prepare_v himself_o and_o have_v determine_v already_o to_o receive_v it_o with_o all_o humility_n and_o patience_n and_o therefore_o resign_v himself_o into_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o be_v ready_a to_o entertain_v any_o tribulation_n which_o way_n so_o ever_o it_o come_v after_o that_o manner_n as_o david_n do_v the_o injury_n offer_v and_o do_v unto_o he_o of_o semei_n as_o though_o god_n have_v command_v he_o to_o other_o to_o suffer_v wrong_a and_o every_o one_o know_v that_o the_o second_o part_n be_v more_o difficult_a than_o the_o first_o therefore_o it_o be_v needful_a to_o collect_v hither_o many_o caution_n and_o many_o remedy_n because_o in_o this_o part_n there_o be_v great_a danger_n it_o be_v further_a to_o be_v note_v in_o this_o place_n that_o in_o this_o virtue_n of_o patience_n according_a to_o the_o doctor_n patience_n that_o there_o be_v three_o most_o excellent_a degree_n and_o one_o more_o perfect_a than_o another_o the_o first_o be_v patient_o to_o suffer_v affliction_n the_o second_o be_v of_o own_o accord_n to_o desire_v they_o for_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n jesus_n the_o three_o be_v to_o rejoice_v in_o the_o same_o affliction_n therefore_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n must_v not_o be_v content_n be_v to_o be_v in_o the_o first_o degree_n of_o patience_n but_o he_o must_v labour_v to_o come_v to_o the_o second_o and_o when_o he_o be_v come_v unto_o this_o he_o must_v not_o rest_v but_o proceed_v until_o he_o have_v attain_a the_o third_n we_o have_v a_o example_n of_o the_o first_o degree_n in_o holy_a job_n of_o the_o second_o in_o the_o holy_a martyr_n who_o so_o desire_v martyrdom_n of_o the_o three_o in_o the_o holy_a apostle_n who_o rejoice_v that_o they_o be_v make_v worthy_a to_o suffer_v injury_n for_o the_o name_n of_o christ._n 5_o the_o same_o joy_n be_v in_o saint_n paul_n as_o he_o testify_v of_o himself_o in_o a_o certain_a place_n but_o let_v we_o glory_v also_o say_v he_o in_o tribulation_n and_o in_o another_o place_n he_o
