spiritual_n be_v he_o be_v make_v something_o of_o a_o man_n dead_a in_o sin_n he_o be_v quicken_v and_o have_v spiritual_a life_n put_v into_o he_o as_o a_o child_n bear_v of_o a_o woman_n have_v of_o do_v good_a the_o second_o the_o will_n the_o three_o the_o deed_n and_o all_o three_o together_o make_v up_o the_o work_n of_o regeneration_n the_o regerate_v man_n can_v do_v the_o evil_n he_o will_v for_o these_o reason_n viz._n 1._o because_o he_o can_v commit_v sin_n at_o what_o time_n soever_o he_o will_v 1_o joh._n 3.9_o thus_o be_v it_o with_o joseph_n when_o he_o be_v assault_v by_o by_o reason_n of_o this_o defect_n that_o either_o they_o do_v not_o know_v the_o will_n of_o god_n when_o they_o do_v they_o or_o be_v not_o move_v by_o the_o sight_n or_o knowledge_n thereof_o to_o do_v it_o that_o be_v they_o do_v it_o not_o to_o that_o end_n that_o they_o may_v obey_v god_n who_o will_v so_o have_v it_o for_o this_o reason_n god_n can_v be_v the_o author_n of_o the_o wickedness_n of_o the_o will_n beside_o though_o now_o since_o the_o corruption_n of_o our_o nature_n by_o the_o fall_v we_o have_v not_o freewill_n to_o convert_v ourselves_o nor_o to_o turn_v unto_o fall_v we_o have_v it_o and_o shall_v have_v in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o although_o the_o unregenerate_a be_v able_a to_o will_v only_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v evil_a yet_o they_o will_v as_o evil_a action_n as_o the_o worst_a of_o man_n for_o this_o be_v a_o true_a rule_n a_o man_n that_o excel_v in_o grace_n may_v sometime_o excel_v in_o ill-doing_n but_o he_o allow_v not_o himself_o therein_o nor_o be_v it_o proper_o he_o that_o do_v it_o but_o sin_n that_o dwell_v in_o he_o as_o the_o good_a that_o evil_a man_n do_v it_o can_v be_v say_v that_o they_o do_v it_o god_n spirit_n may_v be_v there_o to_o help_v they_o to_o do_v much_o but_o the_o spirit_n dwell_v not_o there_o so_o a_o man_n may_v do_v good_a and_o not_o be_v good_a on_o the_o other_o side_n thing_n which_o do_v good_a work_n do_v many_o thing_n which_o be_v sin_n in_o themselves_o and_o so_o deserve_v to_o be_v out_v of_o god_n favour_n deut._n 27.26_o 4._o because_o there_o be_v not_o that_o degree_n of_o goodness_n in_o these_o good_a work_n that_o proceed_v from_o the_o saint_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v or_o as_o god_n require_v 2._o though_o they_o be_v perfect_a yet_o be_v they_o imperfection_n of_o his_o work_n cover_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n all_o these_o be_v exclude_v from_o be_v good_a work_n viz._n 1._o which_o be_v sin_n in_o themselves_o and_o repugnant_a to_o god_n law_n and_o his_o will_n reveal_v in_o his_o most_o sacred_a word_n 2._o which_o be_v not_o repugnant_a to_o the_o law_n neither_o in_o themselves_o good_a or_o evil_n but_o which_o may_v yet_o by_o a_o accident_n be_v make_v good_a or_o evil_n 3._o which_o be_v good_a in_o themselves_o and_o command_v by_o god_n but_o yet_o be_v make_v sin_n by_o a_o accident_n in_o that_o they_o be_v unlawful_o do_v or_o not_o as_o they_o ought_v to_o be_v how_o the_o work_n of_o the_o regenerate_v and_o unregenerate_v differ_v viz._n 1._o the_o work_n of_o the_o unregenerate_a proceed_v not_o from_o faith_n as_o those_o of_o the_o regenerate_v do_v 2._o the_o work_n of_o the_o unregenerate_a be_v not_o join_v with_o a_o inward_a obedience_n and_o therefore_o be_v do_v dissemble_o and_o be_v mere_a hypocrisy_n but_o it_o be_v far_o otherwise_o with_o the_o regenerate_v 3._o as_o the_o work_n of_o the_o unregenerate_a proceed_v not_o from_o the_o right_a cause_n so_o be_v they_o not_o refer_v to_o the_o chief_a end_n which_o be_v god_n glory_n but_o in_o both_o these_o the_o work_n of_o the_o regenerate_v be_v right_o and_o true_o qualify_v though_o the_o work_n of_o the_o most_o regenerate_v yea_o his_o best_a work_n be_v good_a only_o in_o part_n not_o perfect_o because_o he_o be_v not_o whole_o spirit_n and_o no_o flesh_n yet_o god_n approve_v of_o they_o and_o therefore_o we_o must_v again_o consider_v good_a work_v two_o way_n viz._n 1._o in_o themselves_o as_o they_o be_v compare_v with_o the_o law_n and_o the_o rigour_n thereof_o and_o so_o they_o be_v sin_n because_o they_o answer_v not_o to_o that_o perfection_n which_o the_o law_n require_v for_o there_o be_v two_o degree_n of_o sin_n viz._n 1._o rebellion_n which_o be_v action_n flat_o against_o the_o
