pious_a father_n three_o death_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o change_n of_o a_o short_a and_o temporary_a for_o a_o unalterable_a and_o eternal_a condition_n from_o whence_o it_o follow_v that_o those_o which_o die_v in_o their_o sin_n from_o thence_o begin_v to_o feel_v those_o torment_n which_o shall_v never_o cease_v and_o therefore_o they_o leave_v behind_o they_o a_o sad_a occasion_n of_o grief_n and_o sorrow_n to_o such_o as_o be_v apprehensive_a of_o the_o pain_n they_o feel_v if_o the_o rich_a man_n in_o the_o gospel_n be_v so_o careful_a of_o his_o survive_a brethren_n and_o so_o concern_v in_o their_o welfare_n if_o they_o have_v as_o well_o understand_v his_o sad_a and_o irreversible_a condition_n what_o flood_n of_o tear_n will_v they_o have_v shed_v for_o he_o who_o call_v so_o earnest_o for_o a_o drop_n of_o water_n to_o cool_v his_o tongue_n but_o as_o for_o such_o as_o pass_v from_o hence_o into_o a_o place_n of_o rest_n and_o joy_n who_o change_v the_o misery_n of_o this_o sinful_a world_n for_o the_o bless_a presence_n of_o a_o good_a and_o gracious_a god_n weep_v at_o their_o departure_n may_v seem_v improper_a and_o unkind_a officiousness_n as_o it_o be_v a_o sorrow_n for_o their_o happiness_n and_o envy_v at_o their_o felicity_n now_o the_o soul_n of_o jacob_n be_v certain_o at_o rest_n and_o joseph_n sufficient_o assure_v of_o his_o happiness_n he_o know_v that_o his_o father_n be_v heir_n of_o the_o same_o promise_n with_o abraham_n 16._o for_o he_o look_v for_o a_o city_n which_o have_v foundation_n who_o builder_n and_o maker_n be_v god_n he_o die_v in_o faith_n &_o embrace_v the_o promise_n he_o confess_v that_o he_o be_v a_o stranger_n on_o the_o earth_n and_o that_o he_o seek_v a_o better_a country_n that_o be_v a_o heavenly_a and_o therefore_o god_n have_v prepare_v for_o he_o a_o city_n &_o he_o be_v in_o the_o bosom_n of_o abraham_n the_o place_n of_o felicity_n but_o the_o happiness_n of_o his_o soul_n be_v no_o excuse_n to_o joseph_n for_o the_o funeral_n tear_v due_a at_o the_o interment_n of_o his_o body_n and_o he_o make_v a_o mourning_n for_o his_o happy_a father_n four_o many_o person_n expire_a give_v too_o sad_a occasion_n of_o sorrow_n to_o their_o relation_n leave_v behind_o they_o which_o depend_v upon_o they_o who_o subsistence_n live_v and_o die_v and_o who_o hope_n be_v bury_v with_o they_o may_v go_v to_o their_o grave_n with_o unfeigned_a tear_n lament_v not_o so_o much_o the_o departure_n of_o their_o friend_n as_o their_o own_o loss_n something_o they_o may_v weep_v for_o they_o and_o more_o for_o themselves_o but_o the_o death_n of_o jacob_n be_v not_o of_o any_o such_o condition_n there_o can_v no_o disadvantage_n arise_v from_o that_o to_o joseph_n no_o interest_n of_o he_o can_v suffer_v by_o it_o he_o have_v already_o bless_v all_o his_o son_n and_o joseph_n principal_o there_o can_v be_v no_o more_o of_o heavenly_a favour_n expect_v from_o his_o prayer_n or_o prophecy_n have_v he_o die_v before_o he_o lay_v his_o hand_n upon_o ephraim_n and_o manasseth_n have_v joseph_n and_o his_o son_n be_v absent_a when_o he_o bless_v the_o rest_n he_o may_v have_v sad_o mourn_v for_o the_o loss_n of_o his_o father_n and_o
