do_v contend_v say_v than_o we_o domerit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n by_o our_o work_n c._n but_o if_o the_o cause_n of_o our_o salvation_n be_v dispute_v of_o here_o they_o shall_v not_o gather_v amiss_o that_o we_o deserve_v eternal_a life_n by_o our_o good_a work_n but_o see_v the_o purpose_n of_o christ_n be_v nothing_o else_o than_o to_o exhort_v his_o disciple_n to_o the_o study_n of_o because_o it_o depend_v of_o the_o adoption_n the_o apostle_n paul_n rejoice_v that_o there_o be_v a_o crown_n of_o righteousness_n lay_v up_o for_o he_o but_o whereupon_o have_v he_o this_o trust_n but_o only_o because_o he_o be_v a_o member_n of_o christ_n which_o be_v the_o only_a heir_n of_o the_o celestial_a kingdom_n tymâ—…_n he_o say_v that_o the_o just_a judge_n shall_v give_v he_o this_o never_o satisfy_v the_o law_n of_o god_n there_o be_v no_o reward_n due_a unto_o they_o but_o that_o be_v call_v a_o reward_n which_o be_v give_v to_o they_o free_o z._n moreover_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n often_o use_v in_o the_o scripture_n to_o give_v that_o unto_o the_o latter_a which_o belong_v unto_o the_o first_o as_z to_o work_n that_o which_o pertain_v to_o faith_n and_o again_o that_o be_v oftentimes_o attribute_v to_o faith_n which_o be_v only_o proper_a to_o the_o divine_a election_n wherefore_o these_o work_n here_o add_v must_v not_o so_o be_v take_v as_o though_o for_o they_o god_n will_v call_v the_o elect_v to_o the_o possession_n of_o his_o kingdom_n but_o because_o these_o work_v do_v testify_v that_o they_o be_v bless_v of_o the_o father_n and_o choose_v to_o the_o and_o head_n even_o as_o at_o this_o day_n our_o horn_a bishop_n our_o abbot_n papist_n our_o monk_n our_o channon_n our_o friar_n and_o every_o mass_n priest_n be_v elevate_v and_o puff_v up_o with_o the_o proud_a title_n of_o clergy_n do_v much_o despise_v the_o laity_n john_n do_v refel_v and_o confute_v this_o error_n that_o they_o do_v to_o much_o restrain_v the_o promise_n of_o god_n show_n that_o although_o god_n do_v want_v they_o yet_o he_o will_v have_v his_o church_n the_o effect_n therefore_o of_o his_o word_n be_v this_o god_n make_v a_o everlasting_a covenant_n with_o abraham_n and_o his_o seed_n yet_o one_o thing_n deceive_v you_o that_o when_o you_o be_v more_o them_z bastard_n you_o think_v your_o self_n to_o be_v the_o son_n of_o abraham_n therefore_o god_n will_v raise_v up_o a_o new_a seed_n to_o abraham_n which_o now_o appear_v not_o for_o john_n speak_v here_o in_o the_o dative_a case_n he_o will_v raise_v up_o to_o abraham_n son_n that_o they_o may_v
