peremptory_o that_o as_o god_n be_v true_a his_o word_n to_o they_o be_v not_o yea_o and_o nay_o but_o yea_o and_o it_o be_v a_o voluntary_a oath_n for_o no_o body_n exact_v it_o of_o he_o but_o he_o see_v there_o be_v a_o necessity_n to_o establish_v they_o in_o the_o certainty_n of_o the_o doctrine_n he_o teach_v to_o seal_v it_o with_o a_o oath_n that_o they_o shall_v as_o well_o doubt_v of_o be_v oath_n in_o truth_n in_o righteousness_n and_o in_o judgement_n in_o truth_n we_o must_v speak_v and_o swear_v true_a thing_n and_o in_o judgement_n necessary_a thing_n with_o discretion_n and_o be_v as_o true_a as_o a_o oath_n indeed_o the_o life_n of_o a_o man_n shall_v be_v a_o oath_n the_o life_n of_o a_o honest_a man_n be_v a_o oath_n as_o true_a but_o we_o must_v not_o call_v god_n to_o question_v for_o every_o idle_a impertinent_a thing_n s._n paul_n see_v it_o necessary_a to_o call_v god_n to_o witness_v it_o be_v true_a and_o necessary_a i_o will_v not_o enter_v into_o a_o large_a discourse_n of_o a_o oath_n because_o afterward_o i_o shall_v have_v better_a occasion_n to_o speak_v of_o it_o only_o thus_o much_o at_o this_o time_n s._n paul_n here_o use_v it_o he_o think_v it_o to_o be_v necessary_a to_o establish_v their_o mind_n the_o better_a in_o his_o ministry_n and_o a_o good_a conceit_n of_o it_o that_o it_o be_v constant_a god_n be_v true_a our_o word_n to_o you_o be_v not_o yea_o and_o nay_o therefore_o in_o such_o a_o case_n we_o may_v not_o make_v scruple_n of_o a_o oath_n if_o it_o be_v oath_n in_o charity_n piety_n necessity_n in_o charity_n in_o matter_n of_o controversy_n of_o civil_a life_n in_o piety_n to_o establish_v matter_n of_o religion_n and_o in_o matter_n of_o necessity_n that_o can_v be_v determine_v otherwise_o there_o be_v no_o scruple_n to_o be_v make_v of_o it_o and_o where_o we_o be_v bid_v not_o to_o swear_v at_o all_o that_o be_v not_o in_o ordinary_a course_n or_o not_o to_o swear_v by_o creature_n but_o if_o we_o do_v swear_v it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o god_n service_n all_o
