break_v not_o this_o appoint_a order_n thou_o have_v this_o addition_n of_o comfort_n thou_o go_v to_o happiness_n when_o thou_o die_v and_o so_o god_n do_v not_o kill_v thou_o but_o call_v for_o this_o world_n which_o tend_v but_o to_o vanity_n and_o corruption_n one_o thing_n tend_v to_o eternity_n and_o to_o happiness_n in_o eternity_n again_o these_o many_o thing_n lead_v to_o vanity_n hinder_v much_o that_o one_o thing_n which_o lead_v to_o eternal_a felicity_n let_v man_n therefore_o choose_v that_o one_o which_o be_v easy_a and_o reward_v with_o happiness_n rather_o than_o the_o many_o which_o cumber_v we_o only_o for_o vanity_n but_o especial_o let_v they_o beware_v that_o with_o those_o many_o thing_n of_o vanity_n they_o cumber_v and_o hinder_v not_o that_o one_o thing_n of_o felicity_n let_v they_o beware_v that_o with_o temporal_a trouble_n they_o purchase_v not_o trouble_v eternal_a and_o so_o take_v pain_n never_o to_o be_v out_o of_o trouble_n many_o there_o be_v who_o have_v a_o smoke_a flax_n of_o religion_n in_o they_o and_o ambition_n or_o covetousness_n allure_v they_o to_o put_v into_o their_o heart_n the_o many_o thing_n which_o be_v cumbersome_a think_v still_o to_o retain_v room_n for_o that_o one_o thing_n which_o be_v necessary_a but_o by_o little_a and_o little_a the_o many_o thing_n so_o possess_v the_o heart_n that_o the_o one_o thing_n be_v throng_v out_o and_o the_o smoke_n which_o may_v have_v be_v a_o fire_n be_v no_o long_o a_o smoke_n thus_o do_v they_o kill_v the_o spiritual_a life_n which_o begin_v in_o they_o and_o with_o many_o care_n buy_v death_n eternal_a but_o pity_v yourselves_o o_o you_o son_n of_o adam_n know_v your_o strength_n and_o take_v heed_n you_o sell_v not_o your_o soul_n for_o the_o whole_a world_n some_o indeed_o have_v a_o great_a force_n and_o dispatch_v to_o turn_v over_o many_o worldly_a business_n but_o take_v heed_n thou_o overlie_v it_o not_o some_o be_v weak_a and_o a_o little_a overthrow_v they_o let_v not_o a_o horse_n undertake_v the_o burden_n of_o a_o camel_n and_o let_v neither_o go_v beyond_o his_o strength_n the_o sure_a way_n be_v to_o be_v faulty_a if_o on_o any_o side_n on_o the_o best_a and_o sure_a side_n therefore_o be_v sure_a thou_o allow_v enough_o to_o that_o one_o thing_n which_o be_v necessary_a though_o thou_o abridge_v and_o lessen_v those_o many_o thing_n which_o be_v troublesome_a and_o transitory_a but_o if_o thou_o fille_v and_o lade_v thyself_o with_o care_n thou_o becom_a indeed_o a_o camel_n even_o a_o beast_n of_o burden_n thou_o can_v not_o go_v through_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o needle_n thou_o have_v too_o much_o about_o thou_o to_o go_v in_o at_o the_o straight_a gate_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n 33_o mankind_n have_v the_o effect_n be_v like_o the_o cause_n hence_o be_v those_o endless_a desire_n which_o be_v ever_o reach_v though_o without_o need_n with_o out_o use_v hence_o it_o be_v that_o the_o man_n who_o be_v ignorant_a of_o his_o own_o nature_n so_o often_o deceive_v himself_o while_o as_o often_o he_o tell_v himself_o that_o such_o a_o thing_n have_v he_o will_v leave_v desire_v for_o even_o after_o that_o have_v he_o desire_v afresh_o and_o on_o that_o very_a thing_n ofttimes_o whereby_o he_o think_v to_o bound_v the_o old_a he_o raise_v a_o new_a desire_n the_o while_o he_o perceive_v not_o that_o himself_o be_v still_o the_o cause_n of_o his_o desire_n and_o not_o the_o object_n so_o that_o while_o he_o be_v himself_o he_o shall_v still_o desire_v indeed_o when_o a_o thing_n desire_v be_v enjoy_v the_o desire_n seem_v to_o cease_v and_o then_o man_n think_v he_o will_v desire_v no_o more_o but_o that_o be_v but_o one_o single_a desire_n which_o cease_v by_o the_o obtain_n of_o that_o his_o object_n the_o power_n of_o desire_v still_o remain_v unslain_a and_o be_v no_o more_o take_v away_o than_o a_o root_n by_o the_o break_n of_o a_o single_a branch_n therefore_o it_o still_o new_o bud_v out_o and_o make_v endless_a work_n upon_o the_o end_n of_o one_o desire_n send_v forth_o a_o new_a but_o what_o remedy_n be_v there_o to_o this_o evil_n sure_o we_o must_v not_o run_v so_o much_o to_o object_n thereby_o to_o satisfy_v and_o quiet_a desire_n which_o be_v endless_a as_o to_o ourselves_o to_o kill_v they_o all_o in_o the_o root_n but_o this_o evil_n cleave_v impossible_a to_o man_n be_v possible_a to_o god_n and_o do_v by_o god_n he_o by_o regeneration_n put_v a_o new_a man_n into_o we_o which_o eat_v out_o the_o old_a man_n corrupt_v through_o these_o deceivable_a lust_n this_o new_a man_n teach_v and_o move_v we_o to_o deny_v the_o lust_n which_o fight_v against_o the_o soul_n it_o change_v we_o and_o our_o nature_n and_o make_v we_o dead_a unto_o lust_n and_o alive_a unto_o truth_n and_o reason_n therefore_o if_o we_o will_v be_v at_o rest_n in_o ourselves_o and_o keep_v a_o perpetual_a sabbath_n in_o our_o soul_n let_v we_o pray_v for_o this_o godly_a nature_n unto_o god_n the_o father_n of_o it_o which_o may_v free_v we_o from_o this_o slavery_n of_o lust_n that_o like_o the_o egyptian_a bondage_n still_o send_v we_o about_o to_o nature_n in_o he_o so_o have_v temporal_a evil_n which_o fall_v on_o he_o two_o nature_n and_o effect_n instill_v into_o they_o from_o the_o former_a two_o for_o first_o by_o the_o old_a man_n they_o have_v a_o taste_n whole_o bitter_a put_v upon_o they_o they_o be_v to_o it_o propose_v and_o behold_v as_o punishment_n even_o the_o stroke_n of_o god_n hate_v and_o afflict_v this_o make_v many_o holy_a man_n cry_v out_o in_o their_o agony_n that_o god_n hate_v they_o that_o he_o do_v set_v they_o as_o mark_v that_o they_o be_v bear_v unto_o sorrow_n and_o darkness_n but_o the_o godly_a
