often_o whole_o hinder_v we_o from_o private_a prayer_n answ_n 3_o three_o oftentimes_o we_o defer_v and_o neglect_v our_o preparation_n and_o so_o our_o prayer_n be_v hinder_v in_o regard_n of_o the_o bene_fw-la esse_fw-la and_o well_o performance_n of_o they_o answ_n 4_o four_o sometime_o the_o calumny_n derision_n or_o threat_n of_o other_o hinder_v we_o from_o prayer_n it_o be_v a_o strong_a cord_n to_o have_v keep_v back_o good_a annah_n from_o pray_v or_o to_o have_v distract_v she_o in_o pray_v to_o hear_v the_o high_a priest_n say_v she_o be_v drink_v and_o no_o less_o be_v it_o unto_o daniel_n to_o know_v that_o death_n do_v await_v he_o if_o he_o pray_v unto_o his_o god_n within_o so_o many_o day_n answ_n 5_o five_o some_o be_v hinder_v from_o pray_v and_o that_o either_o i._o by_o the_o seminary_n of_o mischief_n the_o jesuit_n who_o persuade_v papist_n not_o to_o pray_v with_o we_o either_o public_o or_o private_o if_o they_o can_v possible_o avoid_v it_o or_o ii_o by_o our_o own_o sectary_n at_o home_n the_o enthusiastes_n and_o other_o who_o dissuade_v man_n from_o pray_v until_o the_o spirit_n move_v they_o which_o often_o as_o but_o once_o in_o a_o week_n or_o fortnight_n and_o sometime_o long_o answ_n 6_o sixthly_a sometime_o we_o pray_v perfunctory_o and_o cold_o and_o so_o our_o orison_n become_v fruitless_a and_o unprofitable_a for_o i._o sometime_o our_o body_n through_o drowsiness_n and_o sleepiness_n will_v not_o permit_v we_o to_o pray_v ii_o sometime_o our_o mind_n be_v upon_o other_o matter_n and_o we_o neither_o mark_v nor_o observe_v what_o request_v we_o pour_v forth_o unto_o god._n iii_o sometime_o we_o mark_v what_o we_o say_v but_o yet_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o our_o prayer_n be_v not_o offer_v up_o with_o fervour_n and_o the_o fire_n of_o zeal_n and_o iv_o sometime_o we_o be_v affect_v with_o wearisomenesse_n and_o tediousness_n in_o our_o prayer_n and_o therefore_o we_o have_v need_n strive_v manful_o against_o all_o these_o impediment_n that_o we_o be_v not_o by_o they_o hinder_v from_o pray_v and_o well_o pray_v second_o we_o have_v now_o to_o consider_v the_o cause_n why_o the_o multitude_n will_v have_v have_v these_o blind_a man_n to_o have_v hold_v their_o peace_n namely_o first_o because_o they_o think_v it_o be_v a_o shame_n for_o christ_n to_o entertain_v any_o discourse_n with_o beggar_n but_o christ_n himself_o think_v not_o so_o or_o second_o because_o they_o think_v that_o they_o have_v cry_v after_o christ_n for_o a_o alm_n and_o so_o to_o ease_v and_o free_v he_o thereof_o they_o bid_v they_o hold_v their_o peace_n but_o he_o give_v unto_o they_o what_o they_o desire_v or_o three_o because_o christ_n hold_v his_o peace_n when_o the_o blind_a man_n cry_v after_o he_o therefore_o ●●e_v multitude_n think_v that_o christ_n take_v their_o clamour_n in_o all_o pa●●_n bi●d●●_n they_o hold_v their_o peace_n but_o christ_n be_v silent_a only_a for_o the_o oryall_n of_o their_o say_v and_o perseverance_n or_o four_o because_o by_o their_o cry_n they_o disturb_v christ_n in_o his_o preach_n to_o the_o people_n and_o therefore_o the_o multitude_n bid_v they_o hold_v their_o peace_n but_o christ_n prefer_v mercy_n before_o sacrifice_n or_o five_o because_o the_o scribe_n and_o pharisee_n can_v not_o endure_v to_o hear_v they_o call_v christ_n the_o son_n of_o david_n that_o be_v the_o messiah_n therefore_o they_o charge_v they_o to_o hold_v their_o peace_n §_o 7._o but_o they_o cry_v so_o much_o the_o more_o sect._n 7_o in_o this_o history_n observe_v these_o three_o thing_n namely_o first_o the_o blind_a man_n cry_v unto_o christ_n but_o he_o seem_v not_o to_o hear_v
