he_o will_v therein_o do_v any_o more_o than_o what_o some_o of_o the_o best_a christian_a prince_n have_v do_v before_o he_o 5th_o i_o pretend_v that_o to_o the_o civil_a magistrate_n it_o belong_v to_o confirm_v or_o annihilate_v such_o of_o the_o act_n of_o their_o synod_n as_o they_o think_v fit_a our_o law_n agree_v to_o it_o our_o king_n claim_v it_o our_o convocation_n submit_v to_o and_o approve_v of_o it_o and_o let_v those_o who_o scruple_n this_o consider_v how_o low_o they_o sink_v the_o authority_n of_o a_o prince_n if_o they_o leave_v he_o not_o the_o power_n which_o every_o ordinary_a person_n claim_v of_o judge_v for_o himself_o but_o will_v oblige_v he_o at_o a_o venture_n to_o confirm_v whatsoever_o the_o lord_n of_o the_o consistory_n shall_v please_v to_o define_v 6thly_a that_o the_o prince_n may_v alter_v their_o constitution_n i_o no_o otherwise_o affirm_v than_o as_o i_o say_v it_o be_v in_o his_o power_n to_o make_v law_n in_o matter_n ecclesiastical_a and_o that_o for_o the_o do_v of_o this_o he_o may_v advise_v with_o his_o clergy_n and_o follow_v their_o counsel_n so_o far_o as_o he_o approve_v of_o it_o thus_o charles_n the_o emperor_n make_v up_o his_o capitular_a and_o thus_o any_o other_o sovereign_a prince_n may_v take_v the_o canon_n of_o the_o church_n and_o form_v they_o in_o such_o wise_a into_o a_o ecclesiastical_a law_n as_o he_o
