shall indifferently divide the same by Lott amongst the severall Under-writes And that immediately after every Under-writer here or assigne of any Under-writer shall have drawn his respective Lott Such under-writer Heire or Assigne shall be and so shall be adjudged to be by vertue of this Act in the actuall possession and seisin of all the said Lands with all things thereunto belonging mentioned in his said Lott Enter upon have and enjoy to himselfe and his Heires all and singular the Meadow Arrable profitable Pasture Woods Bogs Loughs Waters Fishings and barren Mountains together with the Houses and Edifices thereupon in his said Lot contained with all Easements and Commodities thereunto belonging And which within three moneths after the allotment so to be made as aforesaid shall have one thousand acres or more of the said two millions and a halfe of acres lying together in the Province of Lemster or two thousand acres or more lying together in the Province of Connaught or one thousand five hundred acres or more lying together in the Prouince of Munster or three thousand acres or more lying together in the Province of Vlster shall have power by vertue of this Act for every such thousand two thousand fifteen hundred and three thousand acres to Create a Mannor within the limits of the said Lands respectively and to receive Tenures to hold of himselfe and his Heires as of his said Mannor or Mannors at his will and pleasure and that every such person shall have a Court Leet and Court Baron and shall have full power to hold a Court Leet and Court Baron within the presence of every such Mannor and to enjoyn all such Royalties Franchises Fines and Amercements Suites Services and Immunities as to View of Franke Pledge or Court Baron is usuall and belonging and also within each respective Mannor to have and enjoy as foresaid all Deodands Fellons Goods and goods of Fellons of themselves together with all Waifes and Strais That all such persons of the Dutch Nation being Protestants and Subjects to the government of the States of the United Provinces of the Low Countries as shall be desirous to under-write any summe or summs of money according to the said Act shall be admitted to such under-writings untill the full summe of 200000. pounds shall be by them under-written and so as the million of money propounded to be under-written by His Majesties Subjects of England Scotland and Ireland be not subscribed before the admittance of any of the said Dutch Nation to subscribe as aforesaid That all and every Cities Burroughs and Towns Corporate which have perpetuall Communalty and succession being within 60. miles of London and all and every Companies Guilds and Fraternities of any Graft Mysterie or trade united and incorporated within the said Citie of London or within any other Citie sixty miles distance thereof which at any time before the 20. day of May in the yeare of our Lord God 1642. by their Citizens or Burgesses or any one of them respectively for that place which he serveth in this present Parliament or by their Mayor Bayliffe Master Warden or other head Officer of any of the said Cities Burroughs Towns Corporate Companies Guilds or Fraternities as aforesaid shall under-write any such summe of money And every such person or body Politique shall pay the whole summe which he or they shall so under-write or cause to be under-written unto the said four persons or any two of them before the said 20. of July shall have measured out and enjoyned according to the Plantation measure that is to say every acre thereof shall consist of eight score perches or poles and every perch or pole shall consist of 21. foote The first recited acres are to consist of English measure and no other or greater measure That all person and persons Corporations and Bodies politick which at any time or times heretofore have subscribed and payd in any summe or summes of money upon the late Ordinance of Parliament of the 30 th of January 1640. made for new loanes and Contributions and that shall now againe subscribe and pay unto Mr. James Bunch Mr. Thomas Foote Mr. John Kendricke of London Aldermen and to Samuel Avery Esquire Treasurer appointed for that service so much money as shall amount unto a full fourth part as they or any of them have formerly subscribed and paid in shall have a double proportion of Land for the whole twice so much land as he or they were formerly to have had by and according to the said Act or Ordinance and Irish measure viz. every acre thereof to consist of eight score perches or pole and every perch or pole to consist of 21. foot and under the same rents and services conditions limitations and provisions and in as large and beneficiall manner and forme to all intents and purposes whatsoever as in and by the said Acts of Parliament and Ordinances aforesaid is limited and expressed If any such person or persons formerly adventured c. shall under-write any more or any other sum or summs of money then this fourth part of his former adventure shall amount unto or if any other person of the English or Dutch Nation that shall now denovo subscribe and pay in any sum or sums of mone for Rebel Lands shall have a like double proportion of lands for the same in manner and forme in all things as the Adventurers aforesaid in the immediate foregoing Propofition are to have theirs All who have or shall under-write any summe or sums of money upon the said Propofition as aforesaid and have formerly adventured and subscribed or shall under-write and subscribe for Lands in the Kingdom at large shall be accommodated to have all his said Lands set out unto him as near the Cities Towns Corporation aforesaid for which he shall so subscribe as may be provided alwayes that no person or persons shall be admitted to subscribe upon or for any of the said Cities Towns Corporations for a smaller sum then twenty pounds And every of them to make his or their respective Choyse and Election in which of the four Provinces aforesaid he or they desireth to have his or their adventure and adventures of lands to lye and shall have the same set out to him and them in such Provinces accordingly if it may be provided that such choyse and setting forth as aforesaid do not prejudice the first Adventurers whose lot shall fall in any of those Provinces That the time limited for the bringing in Subscriptions and payment of any sum of money for a full fourth part of any the former Adventurers for Land in Ireland or otherwise upon the said Ordinance of the 14. July 1643. shall be within twenty dayes next after the passing and printing of this present Ordinance by all such Persons Corporations or body politique as are in London or within tenne miles thereof that in case the said thirty thousand pounds shal not be advanced and paid within the said forty dayes as
