place_n unto_o the_o effect_n as_o be_v more_o obvious_a to_o our_o sense_n then_o the_o cause_n by_o faith_n understand_v justify_v faith_n which_o only_o be_v able_a to_o bring_v forth_o true_a love_n either_o to_o god_n or_o man_n and_o by_o love_n as_o the_o apostle_n show_v not_o only_o love_v to_o god_n but_o also_o to_o man_n here_o observe_v first_o the_o distinction_n of_o these_o grace_n of_o faith_n and_o doct._n 1_o love._n they_o be_v name_v distinct_o as_o two_o virtue_n 1._o cor._n 13._o in_o the_o end_n there_o remain_v these_o three_o faith_n hope_n and_o charity_n this_o observation_n will_v not_o seem_v idle_a if_o we_o consider_v the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o papist_n concern_v faith_n viz._n that_o there_o be_v a_o two_o fold_v faith_n one_o inform_v and_o a_o second_o form_v and_o that_o by_o charity_n they_o make_v charity_n the_o form_n the_o life_n and_o soul_n of_o faith_n which_o if_o it_o be_v so_o then_o faith_n and_o love_n be_v not_o to_o be_v distinguish_v but_o confound_v neither_o can_v the_o apostle_n say_v these_o three_o but_z these_z two_o remain_z neither_o can_v charity_n be_v prefer_v before_o faith_n in_o respect_n of_o long_a durance_n for_o the_o form_n of_o a_o thing_n be_v the_o thing_n itself_o and_o therefore_o as_o long_o as_o the_o form_n last_v so_o long_o the_o thing_n itself_o continue_v second_o the_o
