john_n exempt_v himself_o and_o other_o godly_a person_n live_v then_o with_o he_o from_o lie_v in_o wickedness_n so_o you_o see_v that_o by_o these_o word_n the_o whole_a world_n be_v not_o always_o mean_v all_o and_o every_o particular_a man_n &_o woman_n in_o the_o world_n arminian_n may_v as_o well_o say_v that_o s._n john_n say_v joh._n 5.19_o that_o all_o man_n then_o live_v be_v wicked_a man_n &_o none_o godly_a as_o to_o say_v that_o the_o same_o apostle_n in_o 1._o joh._n 2.2_o say_v that_o christ_n die_v for_o all_o man_n in_o the_o whole_a world_n none_o except_v for_o s._n john_n mention_n the_o whole_a world_n in_o both_o text_n so_o much_o for_o answer_v to_o their_o first_o inference_n from_o the_o text._n as_o for_o their_o second_o inference_n from_o this_o text_n it_o be_v build_v upon_o a_o needless_a and_o groundless_a exposition_n of_o the_o text_n for_o thus_o they_o expound_v it_o he_o be_v the_o reconciliation_n for_o our_o sin_n that_o be_v for_o the_o sin_n of_o we_o believer_n now_o live_v in_o the_o world_n and_o not_o for_o we_o only_o but_o also_o for_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n that_o be_v not_o for_o our_o sin_n only_o who_o be_v believer_n now_o live_v in_o the_o world_n but_o also_o for_o the_o sin_n of_o unbeliever_n now_o live_v in_o the_o world_n and_o so_o he_o be_v a_o reconciliation_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n now_o live_v both_o believer_n and_o unbeliever_n to_o this_o i_o thus_o answer_v 1_o for_o they_o to_o expound_v the_o text_n as_o belong_v to_o wicked_a ungodly_a man_n and_o unbeliever_n must_v needs_o be_v a_o false_a exposition_n for_o it_o make_v god_n and_o christ_n to_o express_v their_o singular_a matchless_a and_o incomparable_a love_n unto_o such_o man_n as_o they_o foresee_v will_v live_v and_o die_v in_o their_o wickedness_n hatred_n of_o god_n impenitency_n and_o unbelief_n now_o the_o scripture_n inform_v we_o that_o god_n be_v so_o far_o off_o from_o our_o time_n or_o that_o shall_v believe_v hereafter_o the_o death_n and_o reconciliation_n of_o christ_n be_v to_o be_v extend_v unto_o all_o time_n past_a present_a and_o to_o come_v jesus_n christ_n be_v yesterday_o and_o to_o day_n and_o the_o same_o for_o ever_o heb._n 13.8_o thus_o you_o see_v how_o this_o text_n may_v well_o be_v understand_v not_o of_o all_o man_n but_o of_o believer_n only_o and_o this_o sense_n suit_v well_o with_o the_o context_n and_o matter_n in_o hand_n or_o with_o the_o person_n speak_v of_o who_o be_v believer_n only_o as_o you_o may_v see_v 1._o joh._n 2.1_o 3._o so_o much_o for_o answer_v to_o their_o second_o text_n 1._o joh._n 2.2_o and_o so_o i_o come_v to_o their_o three_o text._n 1._o tim_n 2.6_o who_o give_v himself_o a_o ransom_n for_o all_o man_n etc._n etc._n lo_o here_o say_v they_o it_o be_v clear_o express_v that_o christ_n die_v and_o give_v himself_o to_o death_n not_o for_o some_o man_n only_o but_o for_o all_o man_n and_o it_o be_v evident_a also_o by_o the_o context_n that_o this_o word_n all_o must_v be_v universal_o take_v and_o in_o the_o large_a sense_n for_o so_o it_o be_v take_v vers_fw-la 1._o i_o exhort_v that_o prayer_n be_v make_v for_o all_o man_n vers_fw-la 2._o and_o for_o all_o that_o be_v in_o authority_n vers_fw-la 4._o who_o will_v that_o all_o man_n shall_v be_v save_v and_o come_v unto_o the_o acknowledge_v of_o the_o truth_n answer_n here_o again_o you_o see_v the_o weakness_n of_o arminian_o in_o that_o they_o build_v so_o confident_o upon_o the_o word_n all_o as_o if_o be_v take_v in_o the_o large_a sense_n because_o it_o be_v so_o take_v in_o the_o former_a verse_n my_o answer_n be_v that_o the_o matter_n in_o the_o first_o six_o verse_n be_v not_o one_o and_o the_o same_o but_o diverse_a in_o vers_fw-la 1_o 2._o the_o matter_n be_v about_o good_a government_n but_o in_o vers_n 4_o 5_o 6._o the_o matter_n be_v about_o man_n salvation_n now_o be_v the_o matter_n be_v diverse_a therefore_o the_o word_n all_o may_v be_v diverse_o understand_v as_o universal_o in_o vers_fw-la 1_o 2._o and_o particular_o for_o some_o in_o vers_fw-la 4_o 5_o 6._o and_o god_n will_v not_o have_v all_o and_o every_o man_n to_o be_v save_v for_o he_o will_v not_o the_o salvation_n of_o reprobate_n impenitent_a
