say_v they_o when_o the_o officer_n be_v affect_v with_o the_o ministry_n of_o christ_n have_v any_o of_o the_o ruler_n or_o of_o the_o pharisee_n believe_v on_o he_o have_v any_o of_o they_o aim_v at_o his_o herb_n and_o flower_n though_o the_o gospel_n be_v dispense_v to_o other_o three_o though_o god_n see_v there_o be_v none_o for_o the_o present_a yet_o god_n lay_v in_o for_o time_n to_o come_v god_n will_v send_v his_o gospel_n to_o a_o place_n though_o he_o see_v this_o generation_n will_v get_v no_o good_a by_o it_o and_o god_n may_v intend_v the_o good_a of_o the_o generation_n that_o be_v to_o come_v by_o send_v his_o ministry_n in_o this_o particular_a generation_n though_o he_o see_v that_o they_o will_v not_o entertain_v it_o yet_o some_o that_o may_v come_v after_o they_o may_v entertain_v it_o as_o they_o say_v in_o china_n they_o prepare_v work_n for_o many_o hundred_o year_n before_o the_o parent_n they_o be_v prepare_v work_n for_o their_o child_n to_o enjoy_v and_o so_o the_o lord_n lay_v in_o in_o one_o generation_n for_o the_o child_n that_o be_v come_v after_o and_o therefore_o whether_o you_o entertain_v it_o or_o no_o god_n notwithstanding_o will_v have_v his_o end_n accomplish_v four_o another_o reason_n why_o god_n send_v his_o gospel_n where_o he_o know_v it_o will_v not_o be_v entertain_v by_o the_o generality_n it_o be_v this_o to_o leave_v man_n whole_o without_o excuse_n i_o may_v put_v these_o two_o together_o to_o discover_v the_o abominable_a sinfulness_n of_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n and_o to_o leave_v gospel_n among_o they_o yet_o it_o be_v reject_v the_o preach_v of_o any_o moral_a truth_n do_v nothing_o so_o much_o argue_v the_o sinfulness_n of_o man_n heart_n in_o the_o rejection_n of_o they_o as_o when_o the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v and_o that_o be_v reject_v that_o argue_v the_o abominable_a wickedness_n of_o man_n heart_n yea_o for_o aught_o we_o know_v more_o than_o be_v in_o the_o very_a devil_n we_o do_v not_o know_v that_o there_o be_v so_o much_o perverseness_n in_o any_o of_o the_o devil_n in_o hell_n as_o there_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o that_o man_n that_o do_v reject_v the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o why_o because_o god_n never_o try_v they_o god_n never_o put_v it_o to_o trial_n to_o offer_v any_o term_n of_o peace_n to_o they_o and_o never_o tell_v they_o that_o he_o will_v be_v reconcile_v to_o they_o upon_o any_o term_n and_o therefore_o whether_o they_o have_v such_o perverseness_n of_o heart_n or_o no_o it_o be_v not_o discover_v so_o as_o thou_o be_v but_o if_o thou_o live_v where_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v and_o yet_o continue_v wicked_a and_o ungodly_a thou_o be_v discover_v to_o have_v that_o wickedness_n in_o thy_o heart_n that_o for_o aught_o thou_o know_v it_o be_v beyond_o the_o wickedness_n of_o any_o devil_n in_o hell_n the_o devil_n may_v say_v lord_n have_v thou_o offer_v term_n of_o peace_n to_o we_o we_o will_v not_o have_v so_o reject_v it_o and_o then_o it_o do_v leave_v man_n utter_o without_o excuse_n i_o do_v not_o say_v that_o this_o be_v god_n primary_n intention_n never_o reject_v christ_n in_o his_o life_n and_o it_o be_v the_o first_o time_n that_o ever_o jesus_n christ_n be_v make_v know_v to_o he_o for_o aught_o any_o can_v tell_v and_o do_v you_o so_o though_o you_o be_v old_a sinner_n yet_o upon_o the_o offer_n of_o the_o gospel_n if_o you_o shall_v present_o come_v in_o than_o you_o may_v be_v receive_v but_o what_o may_v be_v after_o the_o offer_n of_o the_o gospel_n i_o can_v tell_v you_o will_v say_v that_o we_o find_v by_o experience_n that_o god_n do_v convert_v those_o that_o live_v a_o long_a time_n under_o mean_n it_o be_v true_a he_o may_v be_v patient_a towards_o they_o i_o but_o it_o be_v more_o than_o they_o can_v expect_v that_o it_o shall_v be_v so_o and_o mark_v it_o you_o must_v not_o venture_v upon_o god_n patience_n with_o another_o to_o think_v that_o he_o will_v be_v patient_a so_o long_o with_o thou_o i_o will_v give_v you_o a_o notable_a scripture_n for_o that_o the_o example_n be_v in_o manasses_n in_o 2_o chron._n 33._o 1._o there_o you_o have_v the_o story_n of_o manasses_n how_o wicked_a a_o man_n he_o be_v and_o manasses_n do_v reign_v fifty_o five_o year_n though_o he_o be_v a_o very_a wicked_a so_o many_o month_n wherefore_o then_o by_o way_n of_o application_n appl._n thus_o much_o first_o hence_o minister_n may_v see_v cause_n when_o they_o come_v to_o preach_v jesus_n christ_n to_o a_o people_n to_o come_v with_o tremble_a heart_n and_o the_o truth_n be_v though_o it_o be_v that_o that_o their_o soul_n desire_v above_o all_o and_o they_o account_v themselves_o or_o shall_v do_v in_o their_o element_n when_o they_o be_v open_v jesus_n christ_n unto_o you_o yet_o upon_o the_o consideration_n of_o this_o point_n they_o can_v preach_v christ_n unto_o you_o without_o tremble_a heart_n their_o own_o place_n therefore_o those_o that_o know_v what_o they_o do_v can_v but_o come_v with_o tremble_v heart_n second_o from_o hence_o let_v all_o those_o that_o have_v live_v under_o the_o gospel_n and_o yet_o the_o lord_n have_v be_v patient_a towards_o they_o for_o a_o long_a time_n o_o let_v they_o learn_v to_o bless_v the_o name_n of_o god_n i_o perhaps_o be_v bear_v of_o godly_a parent_n and_o they_o instill_a good_a principle_n into_o i_o and_o they_o be_v careful_a to_o set_v i_o under_o good_a preach_v yea_o and_o i_o not_o only_o have_v the_o outward_a offer_n of_o grace_n but_o god_n know_v how_o often_o god_n spirit_n come_v &_o offer_v christ_n to_o my_o soul_n and_o yet_o i_o go_v on_o stubborn_o and_o stout_o a_o long_a time_n o_o the_o rich_a mercy_n of_o god_n that_o he_o do_v not_o whole_o give_v i_o up_o and_o cut_v i_o off_o rich_a mercy_n and_o what_o have_v god_n yet_o come_v and_o strive_v with_o i_o again_o for_o all_o this_o rejection_n o_o the_o riches_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n towards_o i_o more_o than_o towards_o other_o thou_o have_v cause_n to_o magnify_v god_n for_o it_o be_v not_o a_o ordinary_a thing_n for_o god_n to_o deal_v so_o with_o people_n as_o he_o have_v deal_v with_o thou_o three_o let_v all_o those_o that_o do_v come_v to_o hear_v the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o yet_o their_o conscience_n tell_v they_o that_o they_o be_v opposer_n of_o it_o and_o secret_a contemner_n of_o it_o and_o be_v resolve_v to_o go_v on_o in_o their_o way_n let_v there_o be_v say_v what_o will_v be_v yet_o they_o resolve_v to_o go_v on_o and_o to_o continue_v as_o vile_a as_o former_o o_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v strike_v some_o such_o bold_a sinner_n this_o day_n by_o this_o word_n by_o this_o point_n that_o have_v be_v thus_o preach_v unto_o thou_o the_o lord_n strike_v thy_o heart_n thou_o bold_a sinner_n that_o dare_v be_v bold_a even_o against_o the_o exhortation_n in_o the_o second_o psalm_n kiss_v the_o son_n lest_o he_o be_v angry_a there_o indeed_o lie_v the_o emphasis_n kiss_v the_o son_n say_v the_o psalmist_n what_o shall_v the_o son_n of_o
