who_o i_o be_o become_v bountiful_a and_o favourable_a towards_o mankind_n to_o work_v his_o salvation_n let_v we_o therefore_o take_v heed_n that_o we_o seek_v not_o the_o good_a pleasure_n and_o will_n of_o god_n towards_o we_o elsewhere_o than_o in_o jesus_n christ_n alone_o because_o in_o he_o without_o all_o doubt_n we_o shall_v find_v the_o same_o by_o faith_n in_o the_o five_o place_n the_o last_o end_n of_o our_o adoption_n be_v add_v which_o be_v thrice_o repeat_v in_o this_o chapter_n to_o wit_n that_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o grace_n may_v be_v praise_v for_o as_o our_o adoption_n be_v from_o god_n so_o must_v the_o same_o be_v refer_v to_o god_n that_o his_o goodness_n may_v be_v praise_v and_o magnify_v through_o jesus_n christ_n this_o end_n be_v not_o to_o be_v separate_v from_o the_o grace_n of_o adoption_n whereby_o manifest_o appear_v how_o necessary_a new_a obedience_n be_v in_o they_o which_o be_v regenerate_v and_o bear_v again_o by_o faith_n for_o mark_v throughout_o the_o whole_a course_n of_o our_o life_n that_o the_o remembrance_n and_o calling_n to_o account_v of_o god_n good_a gift_n and_o benefit_n may_v stir_v we_o up_o to_o thanksgiving_n for_o he_o which_o think_v upon_o god_n benefit_n or_o hear_v they_o rehearse_v or_o name_v and_o burst_v not_o forth_o with_o a_o affection_n of_o heart_n into_o thanksgiving_n beside_o that_o he_o be_v unthankful_a to_o god_n and_o therefore_o unrighteous_a so_o he_o deserve_v by_o his_o unthankfulness_n to_o be_v spoil_v of_o all_o god_n grace_n for_o as_o in_o the_o possession_n of_o thing_n not_o only_o the_o right_n of_o possess_v but_o also_o the_o lawful_a use_v of_o they_o be_v require_v so_o it_o be_v meet_v that_o a_o christian_a use_n those_o grace_n which_o he_o possess_v by_o the_o merit_n of_o christ_n and_o therefore_o by_o good_a right_n to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n the_o giver_n with_o thanksgiving_n last_o this_o place_n teach_v that_o this_o be_v a_o most_o right_a order_n namely_o that_o thanksgiving_n for_o benefit_n receive_v go_v before_o and_o that_o prayer_n follow_v by_o and_o by_o at_o the_o foot_n thereof_o wherein_o we_o
