more_o to_o be_v hope_v for_o or_o less_o can_v be_v see_v than_o god_n himself_o then_o faith_n be_v a_o assurednes_n and_o a_o certainty_n of_o the_o have_v of_o god_n yea_o of_o have_a god_n to_o be_v our_o merciful_a father_n our_o tender_o love_a brother_n and_o saviour_n our_o continual_o present_a and_o most_o strong_a comforter_n he_o therefore_o of_o a_o thankfulness_n for_o his_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n let_v we_o all_o our_o life_n long_o so_o unfeigned_o love_n that_o our_o life_n and_o conversation_n may_v declare_v that_o we_o have_v thus_o taste_v of_o his_o plentuouse_a mercy_n and_o in_o be_v holy_a righteous_a and_o good_a law_n let_v our_o meditation_n be_v day_n and_o night_n and_o now_o that_o we_o may_v the_o more_o redilie_o walk_v therein_o behold_v we_o have_v here_o before_o our_o eye_n the_o conversation_n of_o a_o true_a belever_n or_o christian_n so_o godly_a so_o plain_o and_o so_o learned_o set_v forth_o that_o if_o we_o shall_v express_v the_o same_o in_o ourselves_o we_o shall_v declare_v that_o we_o be_v not_o feign_a christian_n but_o worthy_a warryour_n of_o jesu_n christ_n against_o self_n love_n sin_n and_o satan_n and_o furthermore_o we_o shall_v show_v that_o christ_n by_o fay_v dwell_v in_o our_o herte_n not_o id_o but_o work_v yea_o myghtelie_a work_n be_v never_o unlyke_a unto_o himself_o so_o that_o now_o thou_o shall_v in_o thy_o life_n and_o conversation_n show_v thyself_o a_o other_o certain_a christ_n unto_o thy_o neighbour_n in_o so_o much_o that_o where_o christ_n come_v into_o this_o world_n and_o bestow_v himself_o upon_o we_o and_o to_o our_o use_n even_o so_o christ_n will_v now_o do_v the_o same_o in_o we_o as_o once_o he_o die_v for_o we_o even_o so_o will_v he_o kindle_v in_o our_o herte_n a_o love_n to_o our_o brother_n and_o that_o in_o so_o sure_a &_o ferunet_n wise_a that_o we_o shall_v rejoice_v not_o only_o to_o be_v evyll_n speak_v of_o or_o to_o suffer_v loss_n of_o good_n or_o imprisonment_n but_o allo_fw-la if_o need_v require_v to_o suffer_v death_n for_o their_o sake_n thou_o will_v say_v i_o be_o weak_a and_o frail_a i_o be_o not_o able_a to_o do_v thus_o no._n but_o have_v faith_n and_o thou_o shall_v be_v strong_a g._n io_o xuj_o g._n for_o all_o thing_n be_v possible_a to_o he_o that_o beleve_v and_o thou_o be_v able_a to_o do_v all_o thing_n thorugh_v he_o that_o strengthen_v the_o &_o dwell_v in_o the._n therefore_o marvellous_a thing_n shall_v he_o do_v by_o the_o his_o instrument_n for_o as_o when_o christ_n be_v conversaunte_a here_o on_o earth_n he_o let_v nothing_o pass_v he_o whereby_o he_o may_v express_v his_o great_a love_n towards_o we_o even_o so_o now_o christ_n shall_v likewise_o be_v mind_v in_o the_o as_o they_o for_o our_o love_n christ_n be_v scourge_v crucify_v and_o put_v to_o open_a shame_n even_o so_o now_o christ_n shall_v be_v patient_a and_o suffer_a in_o the_o as_o then_o christ_n most_o liberal_o give_v himself_o and_o all_o that_o he_o have_v unto_o we_o while_o we_o be_v sinner_n and_o his_o enemy_n even_o so_o now_o christ_n
faithful_a man_n in_o these_o thing_n also_o must_v behold_v the_o mercy_n and_o very_o fatherly_a love_n of_o god_n therefore_o if_o he_o see_v his_o own_o house_n leave_v alone_o all_o his_o neighbour_n be_v take_v away_o yet_o than_o he_o shall_v not_o cease_v to_o praise_v the_o lord_n but_o rather_o shall_v turn_v himself_o to_o this_o thought_n for_o all_o this_o the_o grace_n or_o shall_v break_v forth_o into_o impatientnesse_n and_o so_o shall_v chide_v or_o find_v fault_n with_o god_n but_o consider_v in_o the_o rod_n of_o god_n both_o justice_n and_o mercy_n he_o will_v shall_v take_v it_o with_o a_o joyful_a and_o thankful_a heart_n and_o shall_v not_o stubourn_o withstand_v the_o commandment_n and_o pleasure_n of_o he_o under_o who_o power_n he_o have_v once_o willing_o throw_v himself_o and_o all_o thing_n that_o be_v he_o first_o of_o all_o let_n be_v cast_v away_o out_o of_o christian_a man_n herte_n the_o folishe_a and_o most_o miserable_a consolation_n of_o the_o infidel_n who_o to_o strengthen_v the_o mind_n against_o adversity_n do_v impute_v they_o unto_o sudden_a chance_n and_o fortune_n against_o which_o to_o murmur_v or_o to_o be_v angry_a evyls_n true_o it_o be_v the_o will_n of_o our_o heavenly_a father_n to_o exercise_v his_o child_n after_o this_o sort_n that_o he_o may_v have_v sure_a experience_n or_o trial_n of_o they_o yea_o begyne_v at_o christ_n his_o first_o and_o only_o beget_v natural_a son_n he_o keep_v the_o same_o order_fw-fr and_o way_n with_o all_o his_o child_n for_o where_o he_o be_v his_o son_n before_o all_o other_o belove_v and_o in_o who_o the_o father_n mind_n be_v full_o at_o rest_n and_o well_o please_v yet_o we_o see_v how_o he_o be_v deal_v with_o all_o not_o daynte_o and_o wanton_o that_o it_o may_v true_o be_v speak_v not_o only_o that_o he_o be_v exercise_v with_o a_o continual_a cross_n so_o long_o as_o he_o dwelte_v upon_o the_o earth_n but_o also_o that_o his_o whole_a life_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o representation_n of_o a_o continual_a cross_n wherefore_o then_o do_v we_o go_v about_o to_o rydde_v ourselves_o out_o of_o that_o state_n or_o condition_n into_o which_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o christ_n our_o head_n shall_v entre_fw-fr special_o since_o he_o intre_v into_o it_o only_o for_o our_o cause_n to_o the_o intent_n that_o even_o in_o himself_o he_o able_a to_o assuage_v &_o make_v pleasant_a all_o the_o bitterness_n of_o the_o cross_n that_o the_o more_o we_o be_v afflict_v with_o adversity_n &_o trouble_n the_o more_fw-it certain_o our_o esteem_v our_o own_o power_n or_o strength_n more_o than_o it_o be_v &_o doubt_n not_o what_o so_o ever_o may_v happen_v the_o same_o our_o strength_n to_o be_v able_a to_o endure_v it_o yea_o and_o think_v that_o be_v it_o be_v invincible_a against_o all_o danger_n whereupon_o we_o be_v lift_v up_o into_o a_o folishe_a &_o vain_a confidence_n or_o trust_v of_o the_o flesh_n or_o natural_a man_n wherein_o while_o we_o trust_v stoburn_o by_o &_o by_o we_o wax_v proud_a against_o god_n himself_o as_o though_o our_o own_o power_n be_v at_z the_o full_a sufficient_a for_o we_o yea_o without_o his_o grace_n this_o arrogancy_n or_o presumptuousnes_n can_v not_o better_o be_v beat_v down_o then_o when_o we_o learn_v by_o expererience_n how_o much_o both_o weakness_n &_o frailnes_n be_v in_o us._n therefore_o either_o with_o reproach_n or_o poverty_n or_o loss_n of_o friend_n or_o with_o sycknes_n or_o other_o calamity_n he_o scourge_v we_o which_o to_o sustain_v we_o as_o touching_n our_o own_o power_n be_v far_o unable_a &_o so_o be_v overthrow_v therewith_o and_o be_v so_o bring_v low_o we_o learn_v to_o call_v for_o the_o power_n of_o he_o who_o only_o under_o the_o hevye_a burden_n of_o our_o affliction_n make_v we_o to_o endure_v yea_o the_o most_o holy_a man_n or_o seinte_n here_o in_o earth_n how_o so_o ever_o they_o know_v themselves_o to_o stand_v by_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n &_o not_o by_o their_o own_o strength_n yet_o they_o trust_v to_o much_o in_o their_o own_o strength_n and_o steadfastness_n except_o our_o lord_n by_o trial_n of_o the_o cross_n but_o almost_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o either_o we_o weigh_v it_o to_o negligent_o or_o remember_v it_o to_o little_a for_o we_o go_v about_o all_o thing_n as_o though_o we_o ordain_v unto_o ourselves_o immortality_n here_o in_o earth_n if_o any_o corpse_n be_v bring_v forth_o or_o if_o we_o walk_v among_o grave_n because_o then_o the_o image_n of_o death_n be_v present_a before_o our_o eye_n excellent_o i_o confess_v we_o reason_n and_o dispute_v of_o the_o vanity_n and_o frailnes_n of_o this_o life_n though_o yet_o we_o do_v not_o this_o always_o for_o many_o time_n all_o these_o thing_n move_v we_o nothing_o at_o all_o but_o when_o it_o happen_v that_o such_o thing_n move_v we_o the_o consideration_n be_v very_o short_a the_o which_o alas_o as_o soon_o as_o our_o back_n be_v and_o as_o though_o we_o have_v never_o hear_v tell_v of_o the_o mater_fw-la or_o know_v what_o it_o ment_fw-mi we_o be_v lull_v and_o rock_v in_o a_o safeness_n or_o retchlesnes_n of_o earthy_a inmortalitye_n if_o any_o man_n the_o whyleste_a rehearse_v this_o proverb_n that_o man_n be_v here_o to_o day_n and_o go_v to_o morrow_n in_o deed_n we_o acknowledge_v the_o same_o but_o yet_o with_o out_o have_v any_o consideration_n thereof_o so_o that_o the_z thinkinge_v of_o contiunance_n here_o do_v nevertheless_o abide_v still_o in_o our_o mind_n therefore_o now_o who_o deni_v that_o we_o have_v all_o very_a great_a need_n i_o say_v not_o by_o word_n to_o be_v warn_v but_o by_o as_o many_o experience_n as_o may_v be_v possible_a to_o be_v teach_v the_o miserable_a state_n of_o this_o earthy_a life_n when_o we_o now_o that_o be_v teach_v it_o whether_o we_o will_v or_o not_o yet_o nevertheless_o we_o scarce_o cease_v to_o be_v astonde_v with_o the_o naughtye_a and_o folishe_a wonderinge_v at_o it_o even_o as_o though_o it_o contain_v in_o it_o all_o manner_n of_o goodness_n now_o if_o it_o be_v needful_a that_o our_o lord_n teach_v we_o this_o it_o be_v again_o our_o duty_n to_o geve_v ear_n unto_o our_o lord_n while_o he_o call_v we_o and_o rebuke_v our_o slogishnes_n that_o the_o world_n be_v despise_v we_o may_v endeavour_n with_o all_o our_o herte_n contemplate_v or_o behold_v the_o life_n to_o come_v but_o let_v the_o faithful_a accostome_n themselves_o to_o such_o a_o despise_v of_o this_o life_n as_o neither_o may_v beget_v hatred_n of_o it_o rejoice_v at_o their_o burial_n but_o that_o do_v they_o without_o profit_n because_o lack_v the_o true_a doctrine_n of_o faith_n how_o that_o thing_n turn_v unto_o goodness_n towards_o the_o godly_a which_o of_o itself_o be_v neither_o bless_v nor_o worthy_a to_o be_v desire_v they_o therefore_o end_v their_o judgement_n in_o desperation_n let_v this_o therefore_o be_v the_o mark_n that_o the_o faith_n full_o shote_v at_o in_o the_o esteem_a of_o this_o mortal_a life_n that_o while_o they_o perceyve_v it_o to_o be_v of_o itself_o nothing_o but_o misery_n and_o wretchedness_n the_o more_o merry_o &_o the_o more_o redy_o let_v they_o therefore_o get_v themselves_o to_o the_o contemplation_n of_o the_o everla_a life_n to_o come_v when_o we_o once_o come_v to_o the_o compare_v of_o these_o two_o life_n together_o then_o true_o this_o earthy_a life_n not_o alone_a be_v easse_o set_v light_n by_o but_o also_o in_o consideration_n of_o the_o heavenly_a be_v utter_o contemn_v and_o despise_v ☞_o for_o if_o heaven_n be_v our_o country_n what_o other_o thing_n be_v the_o earth_n here_o but_o a_o banishement_n if_o the_o go_v out_o of_o the_o world_n be_v the_o enter_a into_o life_n what_o other_o thing_n be_v the_o world_n than_o a_o grave_n in_o it_o to_o tarry_v what_o be_v it_o else_o but_o to_o be_v drown_v in_o death_n if_o to_o be_v deliver_v from_o the_o body_n be_v to_o be_v plant_v into_o perfect_a liberty_n what_o other_o thing_n be_v the_o body_n but_o a_o prison_n if_o to_o have_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n be_v the_o high_a some_o of_o felicity_n be_v not_o the_o lack_n of_o it_o misery_n and_o more_o over_o till_o we_o have_v escape_v clean_o out_o of_o the_o world_n we_o be_v stranger_n from_o god_n v_o two_o cor._n v_o therefore_o if_o the_o earthy_a life_n be_v compare_v with_o the_o heavenly_a no_o doubt_n it_o will_v soon_o be_v set_v light_n by_o or_o despise_v and_o tread_v under_o foot_n but_o yet_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v hate_v but_o in_o that_o it_o hold_v we_o subject_n unto_o sin_n although_o yet_o that_o hatred_n can_v not_o proper_o be_v turn_v or_o apply_v unto_o it_o for_o how_o soever_o it_o be_v yet_o it_o become_v we_o so_o only_o to_o loath_a or_o hate_v it_o that_o desiringe_v the_o end_n of_o it_o we_o may_v also_o be_v ready_a at_o the_o lord_n pleasure_n to_o abide_v in_o
