prohibition_n as_o the_o letter_n sound_v so_o as_o if_o he_o have_v pray_v for_o they_o he_o have_v sin_v yet_o with_o this_o qualification_n that_o he_o be_v forbid_v to_o pray_v for_o they_o that_o they_o may_v not_o be_v carry_v into_o captivity_n their_o captivity_n in_o babylon_n be_v the_o burden_n of_o his_o pprophecy_n and_o against_o that_o he_o may_v not_o pray_v locum_fw-la as_o a_o judicious_a divine_a say_v on_o the_o place_n he_o may_v not_o pray_v for_o the_o state_n of_o the_o kingdom_n calv._n he_o may_v and_o doubtless_o do_v pray_v for_o many_o blessing_n of_o god_n yea_o for_o great_a blessing_n than_o this_o be_v or_o can_v be_v he_o may_v pray_v to_o god_n to_o give_v they_o knowledge_n faith_n repentance_n remission_n of_o sin_n redemption_n from_o eternal_a captivity_n he_o may_v pray_v to_o god_n to_o give_v they_o comfort_v and_o patience_n in_o their_o captivity_n and_o to_o send_v they_o deliverance_n according_a to_o promise_v he_o may_v pray_v for_o deliverance_n from_o some_o other_o judgement_n as_o famine_n or_o pestilence_n but_o to_o pray_v for_o the_o state_n of_o the_o kingdom_n that_o it_o may_v stand_v and_o flourish_v and_o the_o enemy_n not_o prevail_v so_o he_o may_v not_o pray_v god_n be_v resolve_v for_o their_o sin_n they_o shall_v go_v into_o captivity_n as_o their_o brethren_n before_o they_o have_v do_v that_o this_o be_v the_o true_a sense_n seem_v to_o i_o sufficient_o confirm_v by_o these_o four_o reason_n first_o after_o this_o time_n we_o do_v not_o read_v that_o ever_o they_o the_o prophet_n do_v pray_v reason_n of_o drought_n and_o for_o remove_v of_o that_o judgement_n and_o for_o the_o blessing_n of_o rain_n he_o pray_v say_v be_v there_o any_o among_o the_o vanity_n of_o the_o gentile_n that_o can_v cause_v rain_n or_o can_v the_o heaven_n give_v shower_n be_v not_o thou_o he_o o_o lord_n our_o god_n therefore_o we_o will_v wait_v upon_o thou_o but_o i_o say_v again_o he_o never_o pray_v that_o the_o people_n may_v not_o go_v into_o captivity_n which_o prove_v that_o this_o be_v a_o absolute_a prohibition_n yea_o for_o further_a fortification_n of_o this_o reason_n take_v notice_n that_o he_o be_v so_o far_o from_o pray_v for_o fortification_n their_o deliverance_n that_o occasion_v from_o the_o great_a wrong_n they_o offer_v he_o by_o the_o motion_n of_o god_n spirit_n he_o do_v most_o fearful_o imprecate_v they_o pour_v out_o their_o blood_n by_o the_o force_n of_o the_o sword_n let_v their_o wife_n be_v bereave_v of_o their_o child_n and_o be_v widow_n let_v their_o man_n be_v put_v to_o death_n and_o their_o young_a man_n slay_v by_o sword_n in_o battle_n 21._o and_o again_o let_v i_o see_v thy_o vengeance_n upon_o they_o for_o unto_o thou_o have_v i_o open_v my_o cause_n 12._o thus_o humble_o do_v the_o prophet_n subscribe_v to_o god_n reveal_v decree_n and_o zealous_o pray_v for_o the_o execution_n of_o it_o though_o most_o contrary_a to_o his_o yield_v to_o yield_v themselves_o to_o the_o king_n of_o babylon_n say_v thus_o say_v the_o lord_n behold_v i_o set_v before_o you_o the_o way_n of_o life_n and_o way_n of_o death_n he_o that_o abide_v in_o the_o city_n shall_v die_v by_o the_o sword_n by_o famine_n and_o by_o pestilence_n but_o he_o that_o go_v out_o and_o fall_v to_o the_o chaldaean_n that_o besiege_v you_o he_o shall_v
