but_o only_o a_o instrumental_a or_o ministerial_a cause_n but_o the_o devil_n or_o man_n be_v the_o principal_a efficient_a cause_n of_o the_o transgression_n or_o of_o the_o deformity_n or_o sin_n of_o that_o action_n and_o this_o transgression_n the_o efficient_a whereof_o be_v a_o evil_a instrument_n be_v evil_a either_o for_o that_o the_o action_n itself_o or_o sin_n cause_n of_o sin_n work_n be_v contrary_a to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n as_o when_o a_o man_n commit_v murder_n the_o action_n of_o murder_n be_v express_o sin_n cause_n of_o sin_n condemn_v by_o the_o law_n thou_o work_n a_o example_n of_o this_o kind_n of_o transgression_n may_v be_v this_o when_o any_o man_n give_v alm_n which_o work_n indeed_o be_v command_v of_o god_n and_o yet_o not_o do_v of_o charity_n it_o be_v reject_v see_v 1._o cor._n 13._o or_o last_o it_o fall_v out_o to_o be_v a_o sin_n for_o that_o the_o end_n which_o the_o evil_a instrument_n in_o do_v or_o work_v together_o with_o god_n propose_v to_o itself_o be_v against_o the_o law_n of_o god_n for_o as_o the_o law_n of_o god_n command_v the_o work_n itself_o and_o the_o fountain_n and_o beginning_n of_o the_o work_n even_o so_o it_o command_v the_o end_n as_o the_o chief_a and_o principal_a to_o wit_n the_o glory_n of_o god_n himself_o whether_o you_o eat_v or_o drink_v or_o whatsoever_o you_o do_v do_v all_o to_o the_o answ_n not_o so_o which_o even_o by_o this_o one_o reason_n may_v be_v show_v he_o permit_v it_o unto_o his_o glory_n and_o all_o the_o mean_n of_o god_n glory_n so_o far_o as_o they_o have_v such_o respect_n be_v good_a and_o darkness_n itself_o as_o it_o be_v permit_v of_o god_n unto_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o name_n become_v light_a again_o if_o here_o it_o be_v ask_v if_o therefore_o the_o transgression_n of_o god_n law_n in_o so_o far_o as_o a_o transgression_n be_v not_o permit_v of_o god_n do_v it_o not_o of_o necessity_n follow_v that_o sin_n in_o respect_n or_o as_o it_o be_v a_o be_v do_v of_o evil_a instrument_n in_o the_o first_o place_n be_v both_o ordain_v of_o god_n himself_o and_o direct_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o mercy_n arise_v from_o the_o salvation_n of_o the_o proper_o discern_v by_o that_o glass_n of_o god_n law_n and_o covenant_n of_o work_n by_o the_o light_n and_o brightness_n of_o these_o i_o say_v we_o may_v take_v a_o view_n of_o the_o gross_a darkness_n filthiness_n and_o deformity_n of_o our_o corrupt_a nature_n for_o this_o cause_n it_o be_v say_v ro._n 3._o 20._o by_o the_o law_n come_v the_o knowledge_n of_o fin_n five_o they_o see_v sanctification_n and_o regeneration_n that_o so_o they_o may_v bring_v forth_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n four_o they_o wait_v for_o to_o attain_v that_o life_n eternal_a which_o be_v give_v we_o of_o god_n free_a grace_n in_o and_o by_o that_o impute_a righteousness_n of_o christ_n if_o we_o be_v possess_v in_o this_o life_n of_o a_o perfect_a faith_n in_o christ_n not_o a_o perfect_a faith_n we_o have_v not_o and_o so_o of_o perfect_a holiness_n then_o i_o grant_v the_o believer_n shall_v not_o need_v this_o terrible_a glass_n of_o the_o law_n and_o of_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n but_o because_o unbelief_n still_o rest_v in_o this_o our_o nature_n and_o the_o relic_n of_o that_o inherent_a contagion_n still_o abide_v in_o we_o and_o for_o that_o so_o long_o as_o we_o live_v here_o neither_o our_o faith_n nor_o holiness_n can_v be_v perfect_v therefore_o to_o weaken_v more_o &_o more_o our_o unbelcefe_n and_o inherent_a sin_n in_o we_o and_o more_o and_o more_o
