it_o be_v necessary_a they_o say_v that_o there_o shall_v be_v some_o proposition_n who_o truth_n must_v be_v discern_v by_o their_o own_o light_n otherwise_o man_n will_v always_o argue_v backward_o in_o infinitum_fw-la and_o there_o can_v be_v no_o such_o thing_n as_o science_n in_o world_n xvi_o but_o though_o it_o be_v very_o true_a that_o all_o demonstration_n in_o its_o last_o result_n be_v to_o proceed_v ab_fw-la indemonstrabili_fw-la and_o be_v to_o be_v ultimate_o resolve_v into_o some_o self_n evident_a maxim_n who_o truth_n in_o its_o self_n must_v be_v every_o whit_n as_o plain_a and_o as_o evident_a to_o be_v see_v as_o the_o broad_a channel_n of_o the_o egyptian_a nile_n when_o it_o part_n and_o divide_v itself_o into_o seven_o several_a stream_n but_o in_o its_o cause_n as_o obscure_v and_o as_o little_o understand_v as_o the_o first_o source_n and_o fountain_n of_o that_o wondrous_a river_n and_o though_o it_o be_v likewise_o true_a that_o this_o be_v the_o very_a case_n of_o all_o those_o proposition_n which_o i_o have_v new_o mention_v that_o they_o can_v be_v demonstrate_v by_o any_o thing_n more_o clear_a and_o evident_a than_o themselves_o yet_o these_o proposition_n as_o they_o be_v very_o plain_a so_o it_o be_v no_o wonder_n to_o find_v all_o mankind_n to_o be_v agree_v unanimous_o in_o assent_v to_o they_o because_o it_o be_v no_o man_n interest_n to_o deny_v they_o and_o therefore_o every_o man_n be_v willing_a to_o acknowledge_v his_o real_a sense_n and_o feel_n of_o the_o matter_n xvii_o but_o when_o you_o come_v to_o apply_v what_o have_v be_v say_v to_o moral_a truth_n you_o will_v find_v a_o manifest_a inconvenience_n in_o assert_v they_o also_o to_o be_v of_o the_o same_o nature_n with_o mathematical_a maxim_n who_o truth_n as_o it_o be_v the_o clear_a of_o all_o in_o itself_o so_o in_o its_o cause_n it_o be_v the_o most_o obscure_a or_o to_o give_v no_o better_a reason_n why_o these_o thing_n be_v true_a than_o only_o to_o say_v they_o be_v not_o false_a or_o they_o be_v not_o bad_a because_o they_o be_v essential_o and_o eternal_o good_a and_o the_o inconvenience_n you_o will_v run_v will_v be_v this_o xviii_o there_o be_v a_o great_a many_o in_o the_o world_n that_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o be_v wicked_a one_o will_v gratify_v his_o lust_n another_o his_o revenge_n a_o three_o his_o avarice_n and_o a_o four_o his_o ambition_n by_o mean_n which_o be_v general_o think_v to_o be_v unlawful_a and_o as_o there_o be_v some_o that_o will_v do_v these_o thing_n and_o therefore_o will_v be_v glad_a of_o any_o pretence_n to_o put_v a_o good_a face_n and_o colour_n upon_o what_o they_o be_v about_o so_o there_o be_v great_a number_n of_o such_o as_o have_v already_o be_v actual_o guilty_a and_o these_o will_v be_v every_o whit_n as_o glad_a of_o any_o excuse_n to_o justify_v and_o defend_v themselves_o xix_o and_o therefore_o when_o you_o will_v reprove_v and_o chide_v they_o for_o what_o they_o have_v do_v or_o for_o what_o they_o intend_v and_o yet_o all_o you_o can_v say_v for_o yourself_o or_o against_o they_o be_v that_o the_o rule_v they_o transgress_v be_v essential_o and_o eternal_o good_a that_o
