affiance_n and_o the_o more_o submit_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o lie_v low_a this_o the_o lord_n call_v for_o from_o his_o people_n in_o the_o worst_a condition_n and_o we_o have_v cause_n to_o be_v humble_v that_o we_o be_v not_o find_v in_o the_o performance_n of_o this_o duty_n in_o time_n of_o affliction_n or_o temptation_n second_o 2._o if_o it_o be_v a_o duty_n to_o worship_n in_o time_n great_a distance_n and_o we_o know_v not_o how_o to_o apply_v ourselves_o to_o he_o but_o examine_v and_o see_v whether_o this_o may_v not_o be_v the_o cause_n because_o we_o have_v not_o take_v our_o opportunity_n while_o he_o be_v near_o we_o have_v neglect_v to_o worship_v he_o while_o we_o have_v strength_n and_o ability_n of_o body_n of_o pour_v out_o our_o soul_n to_o god_n and_o speak_v to_o so_o much_o violence_n and_o many_o time_n it_o be_v so_o that_o they_o which_o do_v most_o exalt_v their_o own_o tradition_n they_o become_v very_o zealous_a in_o persecute_v the_o saint_n and_o truth_n of_o christ_n for_o it_o be_v natural_a for_o a_o man_n to_o become_v zealous_a for_o that_o which_o be_v his_o own_o that_o which_o be_v of_o the_o flesh_n that_o which_o be_v a_o kin_n to_o the_o flesh_n the_o flesh_n will_v be_v zealous_a for_o now_o all_o tradition_n they_o be_v bear_v of_o the_o flesh_n they_o be_v the_o offspring_n of_o man_n own_o brain_n and_o therefore_o upon_o that_o account_n man_n be_v many_o time_n very_o zealous_a for_o they_o to_o the_o persecute_v of_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n now_o upon_o this_o account_n the_o lord_n christ_n will_v not_o afford_v his_o presence_n with_o such_o as_o lay_v aside_o his_o rule_n for_o they_o many_o time_n prove_v the_o great_a persecuter_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o people_n four_o christ_n will_v not_o continue_v and_o afford_v his_o presence_n with_o such_o a_o people_n as_o set_v up_o their_o own_o invention_n and_o tradition_n in_o the_o place_n of_o god_n rule_n because_o they_o do_v arrogate_v that_o to_o to_o christ_n to_o give_v a_o rule_n for_o his_o people_n to_o walk_v by_o and_o therefore_o when_o man_n shall_v set_v up_o their_o rule_n in_o the_o place_n of_o christ_n rule_n what_o do_v they_o but_o take_v the_o place_n of_o christ_n the_o office_n of_o christ_n and_o turn_v christ_n out_o of_o his_o office_n and_o set_v themselves_o in_o christ_n chair_n now_o this_o be_v a_o great_a provocation_n to_o christ_n and_o that_o which_o christ_n will_v not_o endure_v but_o depart_v from_o such_o a_o people_n five_o they_o that_o do_v exalt_v their_o own_o invention_n and_o tradition_n unto_o christ_n for_o you_o may_v observe_v this_o in_o the_o pharisee_n they_o that_o be_v so_o zealous_a for_o their_o own_o invention_n and_o will_v not_o submit_v to_o the_o rule_n of_o christ_n they_o will_v not_o submit_v to_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n but_o they_o place_v their_o righteousness_n in_o their_o tradition_n in_o their_o invention_n a_o kind_n of_o voluntary_a humility_n they_o have_v and_o willing_o submit_v to_o their_o tradition_n and_o by_o so_o do_v do_v overturn_v the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n place_v their_o righteousness_n in_o their_o own_o observation_n it_o be_v that_o which_o make_v they_o not_o to_o submit_v to_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n let_v a_o man_n do_v never_o so_o much_o let_v he_o walk_v never_o so_o strict_o let_v he_o set_v up_o the_o straight_a rule_n to_o himself_o to_o walk_v by_o though_o a_o man_n do_v never_o so_o much_o though_o he_o afflict_v his_o body_n never_o so_o much_o if_o this_o tend_v to_o you_o give_v he_o not_o those_o thing_n that_o be_v needful_a for_o the_o body_n what_o do_v it_o profit_n alas_o it_o be_v in_o vain_a to_o make_v complaint_n to_o such_o what_o do_v it_o avail_v it_o may_v be_v some_o will_v pity_v with_o good_a word_n be_v you_o warm_v and_o fill_v but_o they_o give_v they_o not_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v needful_a for_o the_o body_n thus_o many_o a_o poor_a creature_n lose_v his_o labour_n three_o when_o a_o poor_a creature_n make_v complaint_n to_o man_n and_o cry_v to_o man_n it_o may_v be_v he_o shall_v make_v complaint_n to_o those_o that_o do_v pity_v he_o and_o will_v relieve_v he_o with_o all_o their_o heart_n but_o it_o be_v beyond_o their_o power_n to_o relieve_v and_o so_o if_o a_o poor_a man_n that_o want_v the_o thing_n of_o this_o life_n it_o may_v be_v he_o go_v and_o make_v his_o complaint_n to_o another_o he_o pity_v he_o and_o will_v help_v he_o but_o he_o that_o have_v a_o will_n have_v not_o power_n many_o time_n and_o it_o be_v not_o in_o his_o hand_n to_o do_v it_o and_o he_o can_v uphold_v another_o estate_n but_o he_o must_v break_v his_o own_o many_o time_n it_o be_v so_o and_o so_o when_o they_o come_v and_o make_v complaint_n of_o the_o weakness_n and_o infirmity_n of_o their_o body_n it_o may_v be_v they_o be_v affect_v and_o they_o will_v help_v ah_o but_o it_o be_v beyond_o their_o power_n and_o so_o when_o a_o poor_a soul_n come_v and_o complain_v of_o distress_n of_o mind_n and_o show_v the_o wound_n of_o his_o spirit_n and_o lay_v they_o open_a it_o may_v be_v godly_a friend_n may_v pity_v you_o and_o desire_v to_o help_v you_o but_o their_o hand_n be_v toâ—_n short_a to_o carry_v the_o plaster_n to_o your_o heart_n and_o conscience_n and_o to_o cause_v it_o to_o stick_v there_o and_o therefore_o after_o all_o it_o will_v go_v away_o unsatisfied_a in_o all_o these_o cause_n they_o that_o will_v help_v you_o if_o they_o can_v they_o may_v say_v as_o the_o king_n of_o israel_n 2_o
