money_n to_o the_o poor_a which_o he_o may_v have_v do_v as_o for_o heap_v up_o riches_n false_o which_o he_o ought_v not_o to_o have_v do_v and_o thus_o many_o have_v receive_v good_a gift_n and_o grace_n from_o the_o lord_n be_v season_v and_o sanctify_v by_o affliction_n whereby_o they_o be_v teach_v to_o put_v their_o gift_n in_o ure_n and_o to_o offer_v their_o service_n to_o christ_n and_o examine_n of_o their_o life_n past_a be_v much_o grieve_v for_o the_o want_n of_o sincerity_n and_o for_o privy_a vainglory_n in_o themselves_o let_v we_o before_o we_o go_v to_o the_o search_n of_o our_o heart_n in_o sin_n to_o come_v speak_v somewhat_o of_o this_o man_n trouble_v for_o this_o privy_a pride_n be_v either_o touch_v or_o not_o touch_v if_o the_o veil_n of_o sin_n be_v so_o great_a in_o they_o that_o it_o hide_v christ_n from_o they_o it_o be_v the_o good_a will_n of_o god_n that_o by_o this_o sight_n of_o their_o most_o secret_a sin_n they_o shall_v come_v to_o see_v the_o righteousness_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o so_o they_o shall_v the_o better_o be_v keep_v from_o be_v justiciarie_a pharise_n for_o when_o be_v a_o long_a time_n well_o bring_v up_o and_o and_o yet_o secondary_o or_o less_o principal_o for_o the_o scourge_v of_o sin_n as_o we_o may_v see_v in_o job._n whereupon_o let_v all_o man_n be_v admonish_v when_o they_o see_v good_a man_n thus_o humble_v &_o throw_v down_o in_o mind_n to_o lay_v their_o hand_n on_o their_o mouth_n from_o say_v sure_o these_o man_n be_v but_o hypocrite_n doubtless_o these_o man_n be_v great_a sinner_n the_o if_o a_o man_n trouble_v in_o conscience_n come_v to_o a_o minister_n it_o may_v be_v he_o will_v look_v all_o to_o the_o soul_n and_o nothing_o to_o the_o body_n if_o he_o come_v to_o a_o physician_n he_o only_o consider_v of_o the_o body_n and_o neglect_v the_o soul_n for_o my_o part_n i_o will_v never_o have_v the_o physician_n counsel_v sever_v nor_o the_o minister_n labour_n neglect_v because_o the_o soul_n and_o body_n dwell_v together_o it_o be_v convenient_a that_o as_o the_o soul_n shall_v be_v cure_v by_o the_o word_n by_o prayer_n by_o fast_v by_o threaten_v or_o by_o comfort_v so_o the_o body_n also_o shall_v be_v bring_v into_o some_o temperature_n by_o physic_n by_o purge_v by_o diet_n by_o restore_v by_o music_n and_o by_o such_o like_a mean_n provide_v always_o that_o it_o be_v do_v so_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o wisdom_n of_o his_o spirit_n as_o we_o think_v not_o by_o these_o ordinary_a mean_n to_o smother_v or_o smoke_v out_o our_o trouble_n but_o as_o purpose_v to_o use_v they_o as_o preparative_n whereby_o both_o our_o soul_n and_o body_n may_v be_v make_v more_o capable_a of_o the_o spiritual_a mean_n to_o follow_v after_o as_o we_o require_v these_o thing_n to_o be_v the_o matter_n of_o our_o ministry_n in_o such_o a_o perplexity_n so_o we_o will_v wish_v the_o person_n minister_a to_o be_v man_n learned_a and_o of_o sound_n judgement_n wise_a and_o of_o godly_a experience_n meek_a and_o of_o most_o love_a spirit_n for_o when_o the_o trouble_a patient_n shall_v be_v well_o persuade_v of_o our_o knowledge_n and_o discretion_n &_o there_o with_o all_o shall_v perceive_v we_o to_o come_v in_o tender_a and_o love_a affection_n i_o think_v a_o entrance_n be_v make_v and_o all_o prejudice_n be_v take_v away_o so_o as_o we_o may_v the_o more_o free_o work_v upon_o the_o conscience_n first_o bring_v they_o to_o the_o sight_n of_o sin_n as_o to_o some_o cause_n of_o their_o trouble_n herein_o we_o must_v labour_v for_o accuse_v christ_n we_o spit_v at_o judas_n for_o betray_v christ_n and_o we_o condemn_v pilate_n for_o condemn_v christ_n but_o we_o be_v much_o more_o to_o be_v at_o defiance_n with_o our_o sin_n which_o accuse_v he_o before_o the_o judgement_n seat_n of_o god_n we_o be_v to_o accuse_v ourselves_o who_o have_v and_o daily_o do_v betray_v he_o we_o must_v condemn_v ourselves_o who_o sin_n have_v condemn_v he_o but_o if_o neither_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n hell_n nor_o the_o cross_n of_o christ_n can_v move_v we_o then_o let_v we_o examine_v ourselves_o how_o we_o can_v rejoice_v in_o christ._n it_o follow_v to_o speak_v of_o the_o counsel_n of_o peter_n repent_v as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v i_o know_v your_o heart_n be_v prick_v how_o be_v it_o i_o will_v show_v you_o how_o mislike_v of_o that_o sin_n which_o we_o have_v leave_v for_o though_o we_o have_v leave_v it_o yet_o satan_n may_v make_v we_o to_o sorrow_n for_o it_o many_o year_n after_o yea_o even_o at_o the_o point_n of_o death_n '_o david_n have_v leave_v his_o sin_n but_o it_o cause_v he_o to_o sorrow_n a_o whole_a year_n after_o joseph_n brethren_n have_v forsake_v and_o almost_o forget_v their_o sin_n the_o child_n of_o god_n by_o temptation_n right_o humble_v when_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o shame_v himself_o for_o his_o sin_n that_o he_o may_v glorify_v god_n in_o his_o mercy_n 3_o unto_o one_o that_o think_v himself_o to_o have_v â—inned_v against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n ghost_n he_o say_v satan_n temptation_n follow_v our_o affection_n for_o if_o we_o light_o account_v of_o sin_n he_o glorious_a feeling_n &_o joy_n unspeakable_a to_o believe_v but_o when_o a_o man_n feel_v no_o sensible_a comfort_n in_o the_o lord_n can_v notwithstanding_o believe_v in_o the_o lord_n &_o by_o say_v wait_v on_o he_o this_o man_n faith_n be_v very_o great_a 5_o he_o give_v this_o advice_n to_o one_o against_o the_o deadness_n of_o the_o mind_n that_o overtake_v the_o godly_a first_o search_v the_o cause_n whether_o it_o be_v for_o some_o evil_a thing_n do_v or_o for_o some_o good_a thing_n not_o do_v &_o so_o leave_v some_o mean_n of_o salvation_n unused_a whether_o for_o some_o sin_n see_v but_o not_o repent_v of_o or_o some_o sin_n repent_v of_o but_o not_o sound_o or_o for_o unthankfulnes_n second_o use_v the_o remedy_n please_v not_o yourself_o in_o it_o but_o rouse_v up_o yourself_o as_o from_o a_o slumber_n which_o willing_o you_o will_v shake_v from_o you_o call_v to_o mind_n the_o special_a &_o great_a mercy_n of_o god_n use_v the_o mean_n thirdlie_o in_o the_o mean_n offer_v for_o want_v of_o light_n can_v have_v no_o use_n of_o his_o eye_n nor_o pleasure_n in_o the_o object_n so_o you_o have_v do_v great_a good_a thing_n whilst_o god_n give_v you_o a_o wake_a heart_n to_o put_v they_o in_o practice_n and_o the_o light_n of_o his_o spirit_n to_o discern_v his_o grace_n in_o you_o though_o now_o you_o have_v neither_o the_o sight_n nor_o sense_n of_o they_o and_o this_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o deceive_v and_o disquiet_v many_o they_o look_v for_o that_o discern_a of_o themselves_o when_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v more_o cold_a which_o they_o have_v when_o god_n spirit_n wrought_v in_o the_o sweet_a &_o full_a measure_n in_o they_o and_o because_o there_o be_v some_o intermission_n of_o the_o work_n of_o their_o new_a birth_n they_o think_v there_o be_v a_o â—lat_a amission_n in_o they_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n but_o as_o it_o be_v a_o token_n of_o a_o mind_n to_o presumptuous_a &_o infatuate_v in_o time_n of_o a_o dead_a security_n to_o persuade_v ourselves_o still_o of_o that_o safety_n in_o have_v those_o grace_n which_o sometime_o we_o have_v so_o it_o be_v a_o sign_n of_o a_o mind_n abject_a &_o too_o much_o despair_v to_o think_v that_o because_o we_o have_v not_o in_o present_a feeling_n these_o joy_n glorious_a &_o unspeakable_a which_o we_o have_v have_v therefore_o we_o never_o have_v they_o
