he_o pray_v so_o may_v we_o know_v by_o the_o same_o how_o he_o pray_v and_o what_o be_v the_o form_n and_o manner_n of_o his_o prayer_n that_o be_v very_o requisite_a to_o be_v know_v mark_v and_o will_v speak_v somewhat_o by_o order_n ¶_o of_o the_o external_a sign_n of_o a_o penitent_a heart_n two_o note_n of_o penance_n be_v here_o describe_v the_o one_o abstynence_n from_o meat_n the_o other_o sorditie_n and_o vylenes_n of_o apparel_n for_o after_o such_o sort_n as_o natural_a man_n say_v contrary_n be_v cure_v by_o contrary_n he_o that_o be_v give_v to_o his_o body_n can_v please_v expediente_a to_o win_v his_o favour_n but_o all_o these_o thing_n be_v in_o vain_a except_o there_o be_v likewise_o a_o confidence_n and_o true_a fay_v in_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n and_o this_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o god_n mooste_n delit_v in_o when_o the_o sinner_n confess_v that_o he_o be_v mercyful_a for_o his_o promise_n sake_n in_o christ_n and_o not_o for_o the_o worthiness_n of_o his_o penance_n so_o do_v this_o king_n in_o the_o end_n of_o his_o proclamation_n set_v forth_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n to_o his_o people_n whereby_o both_o he_o and_o they_o by_o save_v that_o it_o seem_v his_o oration_n to_o have_v a_o doubt_n in_o it_o true_o notwythstand_v that_o he_o be_v very_o well_o persuade_v of_o god_n mercy_n for_o as_o jonas_n propon_v nothing_o but_o god_n ice_n he_o make_v mention_v of_o his_o mercy_n the_o doubt_n he_o put_v either_o to_o put_v away_o the_o slugerdnes_n of_o his_o people_n either_o to_o declare_v in_o himself_o the_o fyghte_n &_o battle_n that_o
