knowledge_n but_o some_o moral_a vizard_n will_v tell_v i_o that_o knowledge_n have_v some_o high_a privilege_n above_o misery_n and_o such_o a_o one_o as_o can_v give_v happiness_n to_o this_o in_o it_o be_v better_a it_o be_v not_o that_o chief_a good_a which_o can_v make_v we_o happy_a it_o may_v indeed_o be_v use_v as_o a_o instrument_n for_o the_o discovery_n of_o happiness_n though_o seldom_o it_o be_v put_v to_o that_o use_n but_o in_o itself_o neither_o in_o any_o thing_n create_v shall_v it_o ever_o be_v able_a to_o discover_v it_o yea_o rather_o it_o shall_v find_v in_o itself_o and_o in_o all_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n many_o imperfection_n and_o fayling_n of_o those_o just_a condition_n absolute_o necessary_a to_o be_v find_v in_o man_n sovereign_a good_a our_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o knower_n while_o the_o same_o knowledge_n see_v also_o the_o action_n of_o mankind_n to_o run_v so_o mad_o and_o confuse_o while_o it_o see_v justice_n or_o at_o least_o power_n tread_v upon_o the_o face_n of_o goodness_n and_o exalt_v wickedness_n while_o it_o see_v a_o undistinguish_a chance_n to_o come_v unto_o all_o and_o final_o while_o knowledge_n see_v those_o who_o be_v lift_v up_o above_o the_o dregs_n of_o humane_a corruption_n into_o a_o high_a participation_n of_o a_o divine_a and_o godly_a nature_n they_o be_v good_a out_o of_o a_o inward_a goodness_n and_o not_o because_o they_o look_v on_o good_a and_o pleasant_a object_n for_o whatsoever_o their_o object_n be_v they_o be_v still_o good_a &_o account_v the_o excellency_n of_o goodness_n and_o the_o favour_n it_o have_v with_o god_n to_o be_v sufficient_a cause_n of_o goodness_n though_o in_o the_o world_n they_o see_v nothing_o but_o evil_a which_o of_o itself_o deserve_v yea_o impure_a and_o deprave_a for_o even_o saul_n himself_o who_o the_o devil_n drive_v to_o the_o hunt_n of_o david_n as_o a_o partridge_n in_o the_o mountain_n this_o sauls_n evil_a and_o wicked_a rage_n melt_v away_o with_o the_o beam_n of_o david_n shine_v and_o glorious_a goodness_n and_o be_v preserve_v by_o he_o who_o he_o seek_v to_o slay_v he_o be_v so_o overcome_v and_o change_v by_o that_o goodness_n of_o david_n that_o he_o be_v enforce_v to_o bless_v he_o as_o a_o son_n who_o he_o have_v take_v such_o pain_n to_o slay_v as_o a_o enemy_n and_o if_o a_o
