approve_a and_o high_o praise_v the_o good_a council_n of_o the_o valiant_a old_a candior_n duke_n of_o normandy_n fasten_v on_o his_o word_n and_o thus_o begin_v himself_o my_o good_a friend_n and_o faithful_a companion_n if_o in_o this_o adversity_n which_o have_v not_o be_v common_a with_o you_o or_o i_o i_o have_v some_o cause_n of_o grief_n to_o see_v myself_o in_o extreme_a danger_n of_o lose_v my_o estate_n and_o crown_n which_o my_o predecessor_n by_o their_o prudence_n and_o virtue_n so_o long_a time_n happy_o preserve_v in_o all_o flourish_a joy_n and_o prosperity_n yet_o withal_o but_o patient_o endure_v the_o enemy_n assault_n when_o they_o shall_v again_o with_o their_o great_a number_n give_v the_o attempt_n and_o without_o any_o show_n of_o fear_n either_o without_o or_o within_o the_o city_n carry_v no_o regard_n of_o our_o life_n or_o good_n but_o employ_v ourselves_o together_o manful_o to_o defend_v so_o just_a a_o quarrel_n as_o this_o for_o which_o we_o fight_v
